This is THE END of first time home ownership and the slow death of the middle class in a generation. 77 bids over 4 years for our first home as native Tennesseans ALL OUTBID by cash investors. Wonder why we Millenials & Gen Z are doom spending? Why we aren't having kids, getting married? We CAN'T afford a home, car, kids, retirement... Child care costs 1/3 of the average income PER CHILD. At 35 y/o kids and a first home passed us by. Don't be surprised that these younger generations want to see it all burn. This economy isn't for us, it never has been. We've been checked out, not by choice

I think it is because most people live in victim mode. It's always someone else's fault. They give away their own power to external circumstances. Is it easy to look in the mirror and admit where you are in life is based on the choices you made? It certainly is not, but it is freeing and worth pursuing. “The chief task in life is simply this: to identify and separate matters so that I can say clearly to myself which are externals not under my control, and which have to do with the choices I actually control. Where then do I look for good and evil? Not to uncontrollable externals, but within myself to the choices that are my own . . .” Epictetus

You two ruined this interview. This would have and should have bee a Paramount interview and a view-port into ... A sign of The Times. But your producer gave it to you two, for some reason,, instead off Becky Quick, and as expected, you two 🤡z ... dismissed and diminished a most Highly Important Topic of the Day ... into the 🗑. I surmise that that was your sole intention when you looked at the day's itinerary this morning. You two deliberately marginalised Frank Bruni's work into triviality. It really though, was your Producers decision wasn't it? That person knew you two were not up to the task of carrying a serious discussion, and that is why he/she scheduled Mr. Bruni on Becky's off-day. Most unfortunate. There should have been quality here.
