I've been saying this for a long time. You could even view it this way, Sideous is the embodiment of the dark, Ahsoka is the embodiment of the light and Anakin/Vader was the balance (he did just as much good as he did evil)

It's to simplified. It's not suppose to be, this person is the embodiment of light, this one dark. Ahsoka is my favorite character in Star Wars, but 1 She is no Jedi. She is what a Jedi is suppose to be like, but she is not one....yet (but the end she will be). 2 that embodiment of the light side never truly died. 3 she had seeds of the dark side in her, that light side being told her so, so a pure light side embodiment shouldn't have seeds of the dark side in them.... She is simply a light side force user

I have started this theory years ago. Ahsoka force potential became basically unlimited after she was resurrected. At the start of the CW we saw her strugle at the end of it she faced Maul at 17 years old and still far from her true potential. In Rebels she toys with the Inquisitors and fights Vader. Vader is still more powerful than she is in Rebels s2 but still one of the most powerful force users we know.

I think the particular thing with Anaikin was she wasn’t emotionally ready to confront Vader. Perhaps she never would be, given that she basically completely withdrew from the war having known his fate. Like Luke always had it within him to utterly thrash Vader, he just needed to be composed to do it.

I think if Qui-Gon had lived, he and Ahsoka would’ve been the Greatest examples to all Jedi about having compassion, understanding emotion but not allowing those emotions to consume oneself, to trust the Force, & to be peace-keepers rather than soldiers. We were robbed of more scenes with Qui-Gon who I consider to be one of the Greatest Jedi in history.

Ahsoka embodied what a Force-seeker is meant to be before both the Jedi and Sith corrupted it in their own opposite ways. The Sith seeked power and wield the Force to do their bidding. The Jedi had become militarised and engulfed in politics, becoming hypocrites. A true "Jedi" / Force-seeker, simply yields to the will of the Force, whatever path it takes, which is what Ahsoka embodied. This purity is symbolised by her white lightsabers.

The *silver lightsabers are also kind of a trophy of sorts; to get them, she had to take the red lightsaber of an inquisitor (or any Sith), and purify the Kyber crystals within. This proves she had bested the dark as well.

When she blamed them and was upset that they didn't trust her after she appeared to murder someone, escaped detention (during which clones died, even if she didn't actually do it), ran from the authorities and yelled at Anakin for doing nothing (even though he was) while disobeying orders from her own master (again), teamed up with a WAR CRIMINAL (Ventress), and then was found at a warehouse with the same explosives that were used? And don't forget, according to Ahsoka, if you run away, that just makes you look guilty. Great character and writing, that.

I think the force steam rolled her ahead of her years. Be it that the lessons she learned under Anakin propelled her (guy was good at everything, even teaching), or the clone wars gave the force ample opportunity to test her, in either case we've seen that the force will test somebody, Jedi council and master's thoughts on the learner's readiness be damned. The fight with Vader became Obi-Wan's last test between Master and Grandmaster (rock moon, not Mustafar). I think Ahsoka walked away from her trial a a true master of the light side of the force, and passed her own Grandmaster test soon after

Plo koon is so under appreciated and is honestly a great Jedi.

AN uncomfortable truth that Jedi naysayers overlook when it comes to Ahsoka...she _lives_ the doctrine of having no strong personal attachments in her devotion to the light. She has many friends and companions, but has never settled into a "family" situation. She refused to train Grogu for the same reasons Luke eventually did.

I wholeheartedly agree with your analysis. The clip you included with Rafa saying “You might not think of yourself as a Jedi, but you act like one. Or at least how I want them to be” really illustrates how some civilians/others in the SW universe felt about the actions/beliefs of the Jedi being hypocritical at times. Although Jedi are held up as heroes, they have their flaws and they should be rightfully criticized for them. If Ahsoka started a new Jedi order that would do away with or reinvent some of the Jedi code it would do justice to all the ways she’s grown as a Jedi and create positive evolution in the Jedi order to more closely align with what they claim to be: selfless defenders of peace.

Why are people saying she's not a Jedi? by Mando timeline, Filoni and Dawson both say in an interview that she is everything the Jedi shouldve been, and that she is a master. Shes still not a jedi, shes what the jedi shouldve been. Yes in rebels she said shes not a jedi. And shes never said shes a jedi since then. And she still uses white lightsabers to show shes not a part of the order. But others will still see her as a jedi because as said shes practically everything a jedi should be.

I think he would have been an excellent one, but the two would've still disagreed vehemently on the decision-making process of the Jedi and the flaws inherent to their Order during this era. But then with Qui-Gon around to counsel Obi-Wan - he may have come to their way of thinking. Being surrounded by Qui-Gon, Anakin, and Ahsoka - he might've actually been willing to be part of making healthy changes. That would be an incredibly interesting potential story to explore.

Ahsoka has become such an awesome character I hope they have some good stories left for her to tell in live action

Ahsoka truly acts like the way a Jedi should, she definitely is the light and she lets the force guide her in the right direction all the time, and always helping and protecting innocent people and her friends who are her family, and with the power of the daughter embedded in her, ahsoka might have abilities like fast healing and slow aging that she uses to protect everyone she helps and cares about and those daughters powers could be one of the ways she’s still alive in rise of skywalker. Ahsoka is indeed the best.

When Ahsoka left the order..she no longer has to follow the Jedi rules or serve the political interests of the republic. She free to make another force using culture of warriors that defend the people

It’s about time Star Wars explored more of itself in canon and it’s not simply an excuse Filoni came up with to save his “pet”. In both Star Wars 3 Revenge of the Sith game, and in Star Wars Battlefront 2 Mission Knightfall there are Jedi Enemies with Bo Staff Lightsabers, and when you think about it there were Jedi that we're killed Off Screen, some of the Jedi that got Killed off screen must have had Bo Staff Lightsabers, the reasons Jedi didn't often use Bo Staff Lightsabers is because they needed serious training to learn to use it, and the VERY FIRST Bo staff Lightsaber originated from the Sith empire back the First Sith Started, sometimes it can corrupt them completely to the Darkside, Jedi Master Pong Krell in Star Wars the Clone Wars did get corrupted having both a Blue Bo Staff Lightsaber, and Green Bo Staff Lightsaber, but mostly need PROPER Training to learn how to use it without becoming a Sith, only becoming Jedi, and mostly Jedi Sentinel Temple Guards used Yellow Bo Staff Lightsabers.

I don't agree with Ahsoka being the embodiment of the light side because later on the Brother also dies but he doesn't gibe his essence to anyone. So I really think the Sister only saved Ahsoka. But everything else you said was quite interesting and I enjoyed your video.

She may not be the embodiment of the light side, but i personally like the theory that the Daughters life energy did something to change her, she may not affect the force at large but I like to think she was left with a "spark of purest light", after all if all it did was revive her why would Morai follow her so diligently. And with the whole Mortis family dead the force is no longer influenced by their feuds. I do find it interesting though that in rebels Palpatine seemed to know of them, and sounded hateful as he mentioned them.

finally someone gets it! People think jedi are Warriors of Light and defenders of justice and goodness...no. Jedi are defenders of the republic and have been for thousands of years. Anyone who doesnt follows their rules and adhere to their dogma isnt a jedi, same with the sith, Ahsoka isnt a jedi, she is a force user. She should make her own culture of force users that arent jedi and arent sworn to defend the republic like the jedi are

The Jedi suck. They're not even a good representation of the light side of the force. That's why the force (in the form of the Chosen One) interfered and destroyed the Jedi. Ahsoka doesn't identify as a Jedi, that should say something about how good the Jedi were while they were around.

There was so much more to that death scene and transfer of force energy. For Anakin this is an event that he would forget completely, as he seemed to act so surprised as Vader when he found out she was still alive. For a larger grand scheme this is the day that one of them actually get out and found a living host. The light is still alive. We also know that the father did survive as well, in another form.

The perfect light side wielder doesn’t have a lightsaber or really a personality of their own they just give themselves fully to the force.

War changes things, good and bad things occur before, during and after the war. A perfect jedi would learn both the light and dark teachings. They would have to balance themselves in both ways. They have to build their own balanced morals. Ahsoka is a grey jedi, but her characteristics and morals of compassion and etc, would show her more of what a Jedi should be.

Ahsoka is my favorite star wars character. Way more than any other including luke or his sister...

Thanks for this. I will always argue that Ahsoka is the greatest Jedi. You said it perfectly, she is the embodiment of the light side.

Ahsoka ascended as a greater jedi than the entire council during the clone wars. She was able to pursuit only the light, detaching herself from the order itself, which was falling to Sidious' plot and becoming clouded by the dark side. She trusted her insticts and the force, focused on helping others and being selfless, while the jedi kept at their dogmatic ways trying to salvage a failing republic, afraid to lose power and influence over the galaxy.

I hope they will tell the story (of the Zygerian and Plo-Koon) in an episode of Tales of the Jedi season 2. It's great to see Ahsoka's story fleshed out a bit more on-screen. It would also be nice to see the story where she would cleanse the red crystals that become her white sabers.

Ashoka and Anakin have the most beautiful relationship out of the whole of Star Wars.

I love her, she is my favourite character in SW. Her growth from the little annoying padawan is what makes her superb. Really Dave Filoni and co. deserve praises for her.

She and Qui Gon would have had a field day together.

Just went back through the Clone Wars series. In the beginning she and Anakin aren't as concerned for the lives of the clone troopers as you make them out to have been. It's actually part of her arc to let things go in battle and Anakin learns from her mistakes as well (she is like a mirror to him which was likely part of Yoda's plan from the beginning). The whole thing of having Jedi as generals was a weird choice, the Republic already had generals for the war. It was a necessary plot device for many things though, namely Order 66.

I never connected the creepy vision with order 66 before. Mind blown 🤯

The Jedi lost their way thousands of years before the clone wars was ever started. The Jedi lost their way when they started to believe in absolutes and not in the balance of the force between the light and dark side. You can't have balance when you deny and fight against half of the force.

Kind of like Jolee Bindo He left and remained a truer jedi than the ones that failed to punish him accordingly

What makes a Jedi is a peacekeeper that follows the path of the force. It isn’t a title or rank like they used it in clone wars. This means Asoka is a Jedi, even if she claims otherwise. To make it easier to understand (if you have a kid you are now a parent, even if the kid dies you are still a parent) Asoka is what a Jedi is, there is no changing that. Unless she changes herself. I also believe Anakin Skywalker WAS a Jedi as he acted in ways a Jedi should.
