Why a TARKOV VET switched to Marauders.

I used to play Tarkov like it was my life, lol. I switched to Marauders because of,
1. The game has WAY LESS CHEATERS than Tarkov, the amount of gunfights i've lost in Tarkov in my 8k hours to cheaters could be well over 500+. I might've died to maybe 1-2 cheaters in this game out of my entire playtime so far.
2. PvP is way less level dependent, there is a skill gap between players however, you won't lose a gunfight because your strength is lower than the other players and they out-strafe you.
3. Marauders is very similar to Tarkov and I just need something refreshing with the same feel. After 8k hours, i've just about seen everything that you can see in Tarkov.
4. HOT TAKE I feel the devs of Marauders care more for the community than Tarkov. Yes, Tarkov releases new refreshing content and that stuff takes time just like in Marauders; however, Tarkov devs are constantly behind when it comes to Anti-Cheat development and won't switch to a Anti-Cheat like EAC instead of Battle-eye. Battle-eye has been known for false bans They never address the cheater situation, and when they do, they do almost nothing about it. I hope for the best for Tarkov but the cheaters killed the game for not only me but for most of the player base as of right now.
5. Progression in Marauders rewards players better than Tarkov. Marauders has no "special edition" that allows you to have more stash space and extra starting stuff than a standard account. There is a prestiging system in Marauders that rewards your efforts and progression. You can prestige for, cosmetics, MORE STASH SPACE, and more ship slots, that imo don't care for. HOWEVER, it feels like going to level 50 in Marauders then prestiging for more stash space feels way more rewarding than getting Kappa in Tarkov.

Context: I've played Tarkov for years without uploading anything because Tarkov isn't my main content creation focus, COD is. However, I grinded Tarkov for 8 THOUSAND hours STRAIGHT. This is me; as a tarkov veteran, attempting a tarkov-like game. I have 47 hrs of playtime at the time of this video.

Good kills, you have an awesome play style. I recommend always right clicking the captain keycards so you can see if they have a better ship than the rustbucket you can steal.

Glad to see this game is getting the recognition it deserves.
When looting a new backpack btw, if you drop yours, equip the new one. You can just hold F on your old one to open it and then just crtl click the loot into your inv. Probably explained it weird but its way faster than dragging.
If I might make a suggestion, perhaps if you do anymore of these, try turning your voice gains up. Your voice was barely audible over your characters footsteps.

That little "flick" or whatever we are calling it at 5:14 makes me feel moist. good shit man. regardless if it was just AI. your ability to just lock on to him was clean AF.
the big thing for me in marauders is like you say no rpg leveling system that gives people who grind a gameplay advantage that and I can actually get in a raid fast, tarkov likes to take half an hour to find a game

Same here in a way. The wipe in Tarkov doesn't really bother me, even with the problems but I'm going to frequent Marauders more because I can actually enjoy it and not be confused sometimes by the stupid stuff the Game throws at you lol.
I have very similar feelings about tarkov and might give this a go, looks cool

I don't know much about either game but I am assuming Tarkov didn't have animals and Marauders did.

I find it difficult to control my leans when also walking, holding down 2 keys at once, and to position it just right while looking around a corner, your lean game is crazy good. I probably wont get much better as im old at 47 and my reflexes and hand /eye dexterity is only getting worse lol. Still have fun playing though, i usually just rat around and try and pick off players at only the best of oppurtunities. Then i run like hell.😂😂😂

I changed my lean from continuous hold to toggle, makes it easier to manage for me

Not all players, if they’re in groups, all the players but the person that owns that ship doesn’t have one. 😴
Dont forget the loading times and various performance issues.
Don't even have to watch this video to know what it's about. It's obvious why you'd switch. Cuz tarkov is hot garbage and sabotaging itself into the ground.

Shift : Left Lean Space : Right Lean Sprint : Mouse side button 1 Jump : Mouse side button 2 I used to play comp R6 and thats the same keybinds i used to use so it felt comfortable for me
the only reason tarkov vets switch is because there is new players on a new game who don't know this style of game and you have an advantage. the game is trash.
