    Hi Dee, the houses over there are enormous and beautifully designed. The only thing about the area, which is not a big issue, is the electrical and telephone overhead lines. It was gonna be even better if they were underground. Thank you for showcasing the beautiful of Mozambiqueans and the development in Africa in general 🙏.

    Hi guys. I'm from Maputo. In fact, Maputo is a beautiful city. Obviously it needs to improve in some areas like cleaning the streets, building the streets, organise the new neighborhoods where the less rich are building their houses. Thanks for showing my hometown to the world.

    Hello, Africa with very rich resources, vast fertile land, over 95% poor people, poor schools, poor infrastructure, poor governance, poor political conditions, dependent on foreigners the list is too long., but this Africa with rich people I think is unbalanced. Africa as a developing hopeful continent need not marginalized economy but an economy which all the people of Africa will be somehow equally distributed. The difference between rich and poor need not be very high. The capitalist system has its own advantage and disadvantage but Africa must learn from that system take the positive and reject the negative. The social value must be respected, as school , medicine, transportation etc, would be fair to every African child,If there are rich then they must pay high tax, to balance the difference of the poor and rich society. You have nothing to do with this Idea,it is just for general information.

    It is a mixture of flats and a few individual houses and the space of the houses is too small against Zimbabwe Birkdale with big area in Square meters.The area too small as compared to Harare low density surbubs which accommodate so many rich people hence the percentage is too low maybe 2% against in Harare 40%.

  • @princedanny1473

    @princedanny1473

    2 жыл бұрын

    The reason for narrow road is that Maputo it’s a small place land wise & they projecting in years to come they will not have much space for more house as the city grow & with migration of more people into the city.That is the reason why many Proparty developers are buying land on the other side of Maputo bay called Katembe across the bridge. You are talking about narrow road in that neighbourhood you come here in the England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 where live they are even more narrow roads here than those in Maputo because England or the rest of Uk 🇬🇧 it’s a small country with large population. Just for disclosure I’m a Mozambican actually planning to buy or build my own house in Maputo in the next two years.

    @@shamisomakuvaro9393 I didn’t see it in a bad way at all. I was just telling him the reason why the are narrow roads in that neighbourhood & in some up coming neighbourhood in Maputo. If you see Maputo it’s surrounded by a sea 🌊 not much land. And that’s reason why in the next coming years you will see a lot development on the side of the bay over the bridge. After the opening of the Maputo-Catembe bridge connecting the two banks of the capital fires up the race for the occupation of building spaces there, the municipality now wants to impose order on Catembe, and give the Catembe a new look & which I think it’s going to make the city even more beautiful in my opinion.

    It's getting harder and harder to create jobs with the kind of automation the world is seeing. I feel like that ship has already sailed away. Mozambique cannot even remotely compete with Asia in terms of speed and efficiency so why should anything be built here - unless it is exclusively for Africans. Another problem is that our labor codes are not very equitable to the employer, so the risk is too high for investors.
