They've also used their speeches to call out corruption in the music industry and even rooting for their boss to succeed with his diet. 😂

Omg I forgot the time they shouted out BangPDs diet. They are either super serious or absolutely unserious in a wholesome way.

I can't watch Hobi cries ... his sunshine smile is so ingrained when he shed tears it break my heart even more than the other members. I am grateful they stay united and strong in their bond to this day, too many boy band come and go and it's not easy to have 7 people united, their love and selflessness must be quite extraordinary.

When Jin spoke about disbandment... I think there was a collective gasp from Armys around the world. We knew they had tough times, but disbandment?!?! BTS has made me cry so much. 😪

Their love for each other and for ARMYS is just so unreal. I never found any artist like them. (I didn't say there aren't, just haven't found anyone except BTS) Proud ARMY here! 💜

Tae kept on crying, they went back stage and came out for photos and he was still crying, sobbing. It’s devastating to watch him and his brothers suffer like that 🥹💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

To this day they still get so much undeserved hate. Being an ARMY is not easy sometimes but I wouldn’t change it for the world and will defend and protect them 100% These men have changed my life and as we are in Chp 2 and see them do their solo work and then go to enlist, I will wait for them until the day they reunite. Borahae 💜

This one gets me every time. I'm also someone that as soon I see someone start crying, I cry as well. They are so sincere in their speeches and this one was just gut-wrenching.

I admire them so much. They were so young, they strugled so much and at the end they were able to put everything in the past and continue their journey

BTS helped me threw the birth of my son in 2014 (he ended up being 8 weeks prem). I spent my days and nights in NICU just listening and watching them, being able to smile and laugh a little instead of just sitting there crying, feeling helpless, and hopless. Threw out the years of mental health and physical health ups and downs, their music really helped me and when I saw this in 2019, my mother had just passed away 1 mth prior to this speech. Jins' moment had me dying and at the same time causing a great wave of relief knowing that for ARMYs, they had chosen a far harder path for themselves so we wouldn't be left behind. At least, that's how it felt to me. I felt left behind by my mother. I don't think I would not have been mentally okay had they disbanded as well in 2019. They really did get me through so much. It may seem weird to some if not many that 7 guys who a person has never met could affect them so much, but it is what it is 😂😅. Wonderful reaction as always ☺️💜

Yeah, to think that they got death threats and so much hate. But as Jin said they got together spoke about it decided to rethink about what that really meant. Which was that they were doing so good it got others worried. I cried, still cry when I watch this speech. But afterwards I think yeah you’ve and continue to show everyone why you’re all so amazing. Will always be proud to be ARMY 💜

I'm old enough to be their mother and when Taehyung broke down I think I would have been on my way to get my child.

I'm so thankful for BTS for never giving up and for the Army's before me. Because of them, BTS became stronger. For that I have found BTS, when I needed them. 💜 Thank You Bts and the Army's b4 me.

I cried again after years. Those tears of my boys is the relief of so much pressure from the industry. Hate, discrimination. The constant death threats. Sabotage your lists and presentations. Those tears are of pain and gratitude. Today they are the largest in the industry. but they left tears, sweat and blood on the way.

now you see how precious they are. our boys are SO special. 💜

They really deserve what they have right now, they received so much hate since their debut. I still remember way back 2016 the 1st word on stage for their 1st daesang (grand prize) is "ARMY" now they have 900 physical tropies including 73 daesang +MAMA platinum award I'm so proud, considering that i am an ARMY for so long. They help me to love myself. I've learned so much from them, that it is okay to not have a dream, to keep going no matter what. they comfort me through their music and messages. I will forever love them. btw thankyou again for your genuine reaction!! 💜

I remember when I watched this for the first time, I got so emotional 😭... J-Hope always have a big smile on his face every time I see him.. so I was not prepared when I saw him crying...

not me watching this at 3am fully aware of the emotional damage it brings😭 The level of transparency they give us is beyond admirable💜

They make us all emotional. If you happen to listen to Outro Tear (the live is a MUST see) it’s a song Suga wrote during the time they went away to discuss breaking up. It’s a heart wrenching rap song and just playing them a sketch of it had all the boys in tears and they eventually made the decision to stick together.

I am always so struck by BTS' emotional honesty. It comes through in their music too - they will convey with great gentleness truths which can be brutal if we really consider what they mean. They work hard to protect us from what they know may hurt us but are still willing to share with us their pain, and not to hide their vulnerability. That is what makes them strong - stronger than all of us who do not dare to be vulnerable or to weep in public. I was depressed for most of my life, though few people knew because I was "strong". Only when I stopped being "strong" did I start to heal - and if that meant weeping when I was at work, then I did - not to say I made a show of it, but I learned I could weep silently, and still focus on getting work done. I came to look at my weeping as a superpower - it relieves my pain, releases endorphins, and doesn't stop me doing what I have to. It's only when we classify weeping as a weakness that it becomes one. Only when we try to fight them do tears become exhausting. I now think of my tears as a natural phenomenon, like rain, or sweat, and nobody's business but mine, so they need no apology.

Every time I see this vid i remember RM said/quoted "Heavy is the head that wears the Crown". This was the time they gained massive success in the US and they didn't expect it to be that big, to the point that they were burdened by all the pressures, expectations and challenges that came with fame that they wanted to let go of everything (disband). 😭 you can really see Bts character and attitude. They are not here just for the money or fame but because of their love for ARMY and their music.

This acceptance speech always gets me! Love these awesome boys!

This speech puts everyone through the emotional wringer. But one thing we can all learn from them is that it's okay to cry and show your tears. I think it's harder for people to show their vulnerability than to show their strength, and that's something special that BTS continually demonstrates. It helps keep them on the same human plane as everyone else, and is one of the many reasons why Army loves them so deeply. If you continue on this journey, this will not be the last time they make you cry. You don't need to apologize for it. 🫂💜

Jhope rarely cries thats why members starts tearing up .To other people 2018 is one of the best time to bts award here and there, guesting here and there internationally,concerts and performances to performances but no one knows that the boys are in there most hard years emotionally to the point that they are contemplating to disband and stop it was overwhelming to them . Personally I was really happy they won in 2018 as best artists after the 2017 shit that other fan’s did just because bts won and not their idol.

This always makes me cry am proud of them for not giving up and always fight to do much better

It's when Tae crumples that I really lose it. He pulled himself together until Jin said that - and it hit him so hard. And we get a little more of what's behind Hobi's tears at the beginning. Have you watched Outro: Tear yet? I can't remember.... if you haven't, just remember this moment when you do. They're deeply connected. Watching them not only have these sincere feelings on stage, but also support each other - offering comfort, but also giving space for the tears - is so beautiful.

I cried every time i watch this speech.. they've been through a lot and they almost disbanded that time but i'm so glad they didn't disband..they've helped me a lot during my lowest times..i'll always be grateful to them.. i love them so much... and now it's more sad to see Hobi cry like that.. i don't want him to go to the military 😭 i will miss him a lot 😭😭

The reason i love bts 😭😭😭

I watched this live at like 6am and had been up hours before to see them perform. Even though I couldn't understand what was being said you could still see and hear their pain, especially when Jin dropped the bomb about their struggles earlier that year. Twitter was a mess once the translations came out and even though I'd only been ARMY for about 5 months at that point it broke my heart. I think it's important for people to see this particular speech only to drive home that they're humans with thoughts, emotions and experience hard times just like you and me. BTS and ARMY have this symbiotic relationship that's hard to explain but I think it clearly sets us apart due to how willing they are to stand up and share their tears with us - both good and bad. Now go watch a crack (funny) video to chase away the tears and cry with laughter instead!

I also get emotional when I see someone else cry.🥺💜 You are so adorable and genuine 🤗 just because you show your true feelings in your videos, I think it's amazing and I love that you have discovered BTS and that you like them 🥰

2018 was a terrible year for BTS emotionally. They were incredibly burned out from tour, and working on an album. too much more was expected of them. They lost direction for a while. Certain members fell into depression, and they all took a month off separate from the group to reflect. When they came back there were many tears and thoughts that their dreams would end. From the older ones who felt so much pain about their direction to the youngest, who was practically raised by his hyungs, they suffered quite a bit. Suga and RM pulled out the wisdom that kept them together. Black Swan, about an artist giving up their art, was a creation of this period. So they were uncertain about this reward at the end of the year, and amazed they won. That's why so many tears on stage.

OMG I cried my eyes out!! AGAIN!! I've watched this speech a few times now and I bawl everytime lol! It's always a reminder just how beautifully humble and hard working they really are!! They deserve the world really!! Your mother in law sounds so cool. You should do reactions with her too!!!

As Bangtan Jin mentioned here, there is a song they made when they were thinking about disbanding. "OUTRO-Tear" This song gradually saw the light of day while BTS went to that point in a long period of hard work and hard conditions, and with the great popularity and fame that came along with the success, it must have been mentally exhausted and difficult due to the endless schedule and people's expectations. This song was made when they considered disbanding.

I love the fact that you have just started watching them but you get emotional everytime you watch such things of bts. This is what bts has achieved ( obviously they top charts with music and make records and all as musicians ) but the love they get is real achievement ✨💗

I cried with you 🥲the hate they get is so uncalled for! They are amazing people who only show love towards each other, their families, and army only to be disrespected because people are jealous of their success. I am so glad they seem to be doing a lot better towards the hate now. I love BTS, they seriously are able to make me smile on a bad day, and I know all I have to do to lift my mood is watch them. There is something about seeing Jhope cry that makes me want to go to war for him.

Made me emotional too, you don't see Hobi (j-hope) cry often so when he broke down (and still looked amazing, just so moved) it got me even tho I've seen this many times... well done for getting through it. So it looks like you're diving ever deeper down this rabbit hole.. do you know how you want to do this? If you go organically, you will see some Mis, some live shows, some interviews etc and you might spoil future stuff, but it'll be at your own pace in your own way. If you go chronologically you see their evolution and watch them grow, which is fun, you're still new enough you can do that. If you go via recommendations you're jumping back and forth in time, but it's fun to be led, however you might miss things and is someone going to keep note of what you've seen? Personally I listened to each album chronologically and watched the corresponding videos which was good, learning about them from their music and artistic choices made it easier for me to tune out the solo/anti/manti stans and avoid all the shipping weirdness and just concentrate on THEM which is where the artistry is. We're all happy to support you so please do let us know what you want... I'm excited to be subscribed to a dancer who gets it 😃

I can’t count how many times I’ve seen this and I cry every time, there is at least 2 more video’s made by Army that with make you cry even more, but well worth reacting to, many Army can already guess we’re I’m going, Spring Day, a song forever in our hearts not only because the boys sing this because they miss us, but a very powerful dedication to the Sewol ferry tragedy, the explanation by Italian Army is really good, after this you should be clear of tears for awhile. Well actually there are a few others, like The Rise of Bangtan series and 2 from XCeleste on the hardships BTS have & still go thru. I will subscribe so I can watch your reaction to Spring Day & more, will be waiting for you💜

this was a very difficult year for bts, they were getting so much hate which was crazy to me but i could understand the ''why''. bts was thinking of disbanding but they won in 2018 every major award nationally and internationally, i think it was a total of 43 or 47 awards that year. top awards in america, england, france, italy, the european grand, korea, japan, and the asian grand, plus the metal of culture and the metal of honor from korea. the only thing they did not get was a grammy. ha! ha! in your face, to all the haters''. but sadly once again the haters are on the move, this time their target is jimin. the big 3, western media, netizen stooges and generated bots need to stop their 'bs' and 'step off'. all the envy, jealousy and hate will not change the fact that the ''unique talents of bts'' are on a completely different level period. but what can i say, sadly, haters are going to hate.

I can't stand to see Hobi or Jungkook cry. I can hold it in when it's the others, but those two do me in every time🥺💜
