I did prepare my 11 and 13 year old in advance to watch Mamie and Emmett’s story - and we all still shed continuous tears of sorrow, confusion, anger, love and of hope throughout. Beautiful and inspirational film of strength and resolute resolve. I, my children and anyone who watches are now better for it. Thank you, Whoopi.

Whoopi isn't lying, TILL is a must see! One of the best films of the year.

Whoopi is the reason I got my 1st set of locs in the 70s. She was the only person I had seen who had hair like mine. I saw her in the bathtub of milk by Annie Liebovitz and it was on!

It's VERY Important that this generation Knows and Understands Thank You Whoopi

I’m glad the film was made so younger generations will know Emmett Till’s story.I will never forget his name.

Till is such a good film. Great acting, great writing, great directing. It took me by surprise how emotional I got. Glad they focused on the mother. I think everyone should see it. I really like how she came to Mississippi and she went to the house where he was kidnapped from. The conflict, guilt and shame between her and the relatives was gripping. And then the reconciliation between her and her relatives was moving. Beautiful film.

From a fan who went to see the movie with my 13-year-old son: this was an excellent film from the very beginning to the very end! I am so glad I went to see it with my son and highly recommend that EVERYONE GO SEE IT (no matter what race)!!!

I’ve always loved me some Whoopi Goldberg. She is a true legend. ❤

I really want to see Till, but definitely not sure if I'm emotionally prepared to watch it.

Yes! I really want to see it. I know I will see it but I’m terrified of the pain that I’m going to experience while watching it. I start crying just from the trailers. That being said I will watch it.

I have not seen Till , but did see Let the world see , which was his mother and family personal accounts of what happened , that was enough for me .

I love when she comes on, she’s really such a force of nature-in the warmest, friendliest way. Jimmy shows such respect and awe. I would LOVE to see Jimmy in Sister Act III-in more movies in general! I do hope Kathy Najimy is in it. When Whoopi says it’s the best thug she’s seen from an actor that is one heck of a compliment.

Awww, that´s so great. I watched it with my grandpa, he had so much fun, clapped his hands and shared some tears. He was a german WW2 survivor. He passed away many years ago, but is always with me when I watch Sister Act. I love how this beautiful movie creates precious memories like this.

Sadly, people who need to see this film, won't watch it. I learned of this atrocity when I was 12, it changed me for life.

Thank you Woopie for making this movie. It puts a historic event on a human level that people can understand and relate to.

That reminds me... I can't wait for this show to start in on giving away their Christmas sweaters!
