Please never be ashamed. My daughter has dyslexia. Some advice read to yourself in a mirror, it will help boost your confidence. Take your time when reading this will help you process the words you see. Read often out loud to yourself & always remember your uniqueness, makes you smarter & wiser than anyone else 😉

I am dyslexic. When I found out Ms. Goldberg had the same condition, I crushed my Nursing Exam!!! If an EGOT goddess can make it, so can I! Thank you Whoopi for inspiring us.🤎

Amen Whoopi I struggle with dyslexia too. It’s not easy, but we can overcome it and i have. Thank you so much for sharing.

Grandmother's are the best!!! I love my so much my mother passed away 20 years ago from cancer, and my father abandoned my brother and me. She took the place of both my parents. I was 19 years-old when my mother passed away and my brother was 16 years old. I love her so much!!

I am in tears of joy over Whoopi's sharing her grandmother experience. I have conquered both a significant physical and mental health challenge all of my adult life from 18 to 66. I was honored to share my expectations as an audience member with Whoopi and the Co-Hosts during commercial break. They were all very kind and supportive. Grandma was also my experience my best friend all my life. THANK YOU FOR SHARING

It's bragging on herself on TV that's what it is . Why did they have to bring up the fact that she was there on air the day before ? It was a lead in so she could began bragging about herself and what she did . She is the worse dressed person on any talk show.

I have a granddaughter who struggled SO MUCH and my efforts to help her grew from the point she was sweating and getting blisters from trying so hard when we did the homework together. I could feel her desperation and anxiety and it strengthened my resolve to do everything I could to help her and love her through this. I’m grateful for all that life gives us in learning we are all just people who are struggling with something and we want to be better.

If Whoopi would be at my daughter’s school I would be there ❤

I have dyslexia & hemi-sync. I grew up in the 1950s-60s. Yes I know the slow, & other, labels. It was just how my brain worked. I adapted & found memorization was necessary. I didn’t learn that hemi-sync was something until I was an adult - then I heard people were trying to learn it.

Why do you cut the video at the wrong time? It’s so annoying to want to hear what Whoopi has to say and it ends there. Pls let me have a full video for this segment. Thanks in advance.

I have adored Whoopi, since the "Color Purple" close to 40 yrs now, woooow, it's been some moments!!!!! Whoopei is a GOD gifted, talented, courageous, down to earth actress!!!!! Besides Whoopi's character of Ciely in TCP, I especially enjoyed her character as Clara, in the movie, "Clara's Heart, she was awesome in that role!!!! Whoopi is a youthful, wonderful great grandmother, how beautiful to live with four generations, of family with herself, her daughter, her granddaughter, now, her great granddaughter, Beautiful!!!!!!

I had a kbb, opera director in Germany call my agent saying, "I hear that Jeff has dyslexia and that means he cannot read or learn." I tried to tell the agent that is NOT what it means and also I can read and learn better than the ones that don't have dyslexia. Needless to say he also sexually harassed me and sent me a message after I rejected his offer to come back to his apartment and talk about my future with Chemnitz, "Don't expect any further contracts from here as long as I am the Opera Director." He is no longer there but still it has been an uphill battle getting work again here and in Germany.

In the US it was the slow class. But, in other countries, sometimes you got kicked out of school. I'm glad times have changed and people realize dyslexia doesn't reflect intellect. I'm grateful those children have an example in Whoopi that it's nothing to be ashamed of.
