You should be happy not embarrassed as accomplished getting your house decluttered and others can be blessed with your donations. There are several suggestions on how to declutter Give yourself 5 minutes every day to tidy up Give away something every day Fill up a trash bag today! Make a list of what to do each day this week. Get four boxes and sort everything into trash, give away, keep, or relocate. (I read these and the reasons they work on Nilah Declutter Tips website )

Great job on decluttering! This is one of my big goals for the year, we've lived in this house for 30 years and I'm almost afraid to face all the stuff we have! It's going to be a big job but I know I will feel so much better once it's done! One day at a time! :)

Those boys are so cute. Good job, Lynette. I am glad that you didn't get rid of the baby stuff. I did that when I thought I was done with babies and five years later I was pregnant so I had to start all over again. Even before I watched this video I had been thinking about decluttering my whole house soon. I think I am going to remove everything from the room and sort through the things before I put them back. I am going to start with my Christmas decor this morning.

Debbi Faust Yes! I am keeping some of the clothing that I think I would wear on another baby boy.. and the gear is always good to have! If you have room anyway. I don’t keep nearly everything tho. Actually most times the last while I’m getting rid of the clothes they have - because they are harder on them - plus I know styles change a lot 😉

Wow! You got so much done! I love the little attic spaces. We don't have one. Everything goes in the garage and I HATE it! We are going to clean it out in the spring. It needs a good uhaul to the dump and thrift store.

Oh yes- I know the garage struggle!! I really dislike our garage - 😦 drives me nuts because it’s not finished out and therefore always feels cluttered!

Great job. You are absolutely right, if you stay on top of it makes it so much easier. It's such a great feeling when it is done. I'm planing on doing this too as soon as I feel better. I have an autoimmune disease and I'm having a flare up. I'm looking forward to getting mine done.

Your home is so beautiful! You do a good job at organizing and decluttering. I've been getting rid of a lot of things we don't need or we keep those "Just incase" items that take up too much space. I'm slowly clearing out our attic. I love those crib sheets too, they match my twins nursery. :) I'm a boy mom of 5!

It always feels so good to declutter! I also love that we have a wonderful thrift store I volunteer at that I can take all the stuff to (Jamaica Relief Ministries) so I don't hesitate to do a regular decluttering.

You did a great job! Very inspiring! YIKES poor little bat! Something that helps me - I try to de-clutter 1 time per month or every 2 months. I have empty boxes & or bags - I sort through items room by room and discard things I no longer want/need. If I am keeping to sell on a yard sale I will clean & price items then place in boxes and seal shut & mark for Yard Sale & out to the garage they get stacked. If not for the sale I will take the full boxes immediately to the car & off to the thrift they go for donation! I always ask myself WHY am I holding onto this? Also if there are new items such as lotions, soaps, candles etc I put them in a shopping bag and or just offer those items to family & friends - just because.

Aimee Lehmann yes I’ve used her method in our home - it’s what has helped me stay on top of things and try to look at things from a - do I love this type of mindset..☺️. I am not a complete win over. But in some areas I do love that!!

Well I’m not exactly sure what to call it. It looks more like a ranch or a cape cod. But there aren’t any dormers.. steep pitch roof..
