Whole Fried Silver Perch on a Beautiful River - Back in the Bush! Catch & Cook.
Cooking slow cooked lamb under coals of a campfire while flicking lures for fish in a creek riverbed, the peacful life in the bush.
Dusty roads that lead you home, passing plains with running fences, through the rain and summer sun.
Sleepy riverbanks, with the calls of crow, wren and willy wag tails, I listen and walk under wattle, casuarina, eucalyptus and gum.
The water chatters along gravel banks, where turtles lay in the sun, and fish swim bellow branches of Melaleuca, looking for a stray prey, not knowing that that’s what one of them will become.
Gratitude and respect to the Kambuwal people, what a beautiful place.
