I have read that the centerbeam cars will rock easier than other kinds of cars.

You only get about 2 weeks to truly appreciate some of the nice Aroma from bushes and other blossoms. Even though it wasn't a huge train it probably was just as good to run today to keep the cars in balance for log loading let's get these storage cars down to the CN. Sad to say this wave of storms in the Midwest and South and the destruction it's caused and with the hurricane season about to begin this will actually help to keep the plant busy

Approximately 1645 hrs. today a 20 year old female was struck by a northbound Redding in northern train on the Lehigh line near Whitehaven Pennsylvania

Hopefully this track gets maintained soon there seems to be a lot of derailments.

There is a certain speed range, that will cause cars to rock violently-- they either have to slow down, or speed up, to prevent it. OR--- fix the tracks, so there is no rocking.

I'd be willing to bet they could get a government grant to replace all that bad track and tiies years ago I hauled for a scrap yard, all there tracks were terrible!! That's what they got , I'm sure with all the derailments happening it would be possible !!!

With the cars rocking like that you can someday watch them re-rail cars from your front yard. Unbelievable poor track maintenance...

Well so far so good. Have seen some really wild rocking in the past at that spot. When you play darts, sooner or later you will hit the bulls eye. They don't need product on the ground.
