If Pakistan was true in not initiating the war by aiding Kabalis through Muzaffarabad to Srinagar in a mission to kill Maharaja Hari Singh to claim Kashmir why did they failed to present their case in UN and got penalty in the UN resolution 1948 to demilitarise the area first This happened as Jinnah confessed his involvement and thus UN made resolution so tight for Pakistan that they experience utter humiliation in accepting terms to say the least

Factually incorrect. Pakistan Army had mission objectives while Indian Armed Forces took retaliatory/defensive actions. A military historian knows that any country which goes to war first lays down 'Objectives to be achieved through war'. Who is the aggressor & who is the defender gets defined by the 'Objectives' laid down by both the parties. In 1965 war, Pakistan Army had the aggressor's objective which was "To capture territory to force further intervention in Kashmir". Since India had no territorial ambitions, India laid down national objective of "Foiling aggressive attempts of Pakistan & prevent loss of territory". Pakistan failed in achieving all its laid down objectives. Indian Army just reacted to Pakistan's aggressive action. Defensive operations can begin before the aggressor undertakes it's offensive. Military historians know that 'Defence' is carried out with an offensive attitude. A well planned military defence is planned in a manner so that fighting is carried out in enemies territory. When the Indian Army tried to go to Lahore etc, it was a defensive operation against Pakistan's aggression. Thus, the end result is that India didn't let the Pakistan Army achieve its laid down objectives. India didn't lose its territory. Yes, in its defensive operation, India also didn't achieve certain parts of its plan. However, in this discussion, these two are not even able to differentiate between aggressor & defender. A war cannot happen between two defending forces !!

It was pressure from then American Dad of Pakistan that the war was stopped. All soldiers took one pair of BATA shoes for free from the BATA factory of Lahore. Pakistanis are great false story tellers. You started the war with operation Gibraltar months before the actual declaration of the war.

Funny considering it a win over an army that was already engaged in a war at the time, fighting miles away from air/naval support. Gen Niazi was not going to surrender to the Indian forces but as the command came that independence of Bangladesh was accepted (realizing that local population was largely in favor of independence), he could not go against that command and thus signed that surrender treaty with India acting on behalf of Bangladeshis as Bangladesh was not an official country at the time. At the end he surrendered to Bengalis, not Indian in essence. Compare this to Sino-Indo war where India had support from the mainland and yet lost large chunk of land to the Chinese + casualties.

Another fact that Mr Hamid has conveniently ignored is that when cease fire happened Pakistani Army has just 3 days of ammunition left whereas Indian Army had approx 28 days of Ammunition left so imagine what would have happened had the war continued for more than 3 days. The Pakistani Army would anyways have surrendered and cease fire was indeed a mis step for India

In 2014 , Hamid Mir was attacked by ISI . He was badly injured with bullets .It was close shave and he survived. That attack badly hit on his brain. Hamid Mir didn't mention that UN Resolution's first condition was that Pakistani Army would vacate the valley and then plebiscite would take place but Pakistani Army never vacated the valley.

Hamid Mir sahib is often compared to Mir Jaffar of Bengal, but that's not fair, but I have seen and listened to Hamid Mir sahib as a mentor. He really deserves to be praised if you are looking for someone who is 100% perfect, there is nothing like it, so happy trails.

A friend of mine whose father was Deputy High Commissioner of a neutral country was a student at Aitchinson College in Lahore same time as Majid Khan, Wasim Bari and Imran Khan etc and witnessed the panic in Lahore '65 when Indian army was at the gates. Only the ceasefire stopped its fall not some cock and bull canal fight! 😁😋🤣

Yes we agree with you. The ppl of Afghanistan have defeated two super powers one after the other mainly bcaz of the difficulty of their terrain. The terrain of Kashmir is much more difficult than that of Afghanistan. The main point underlying the planning of the 1965 War was that the Kashmiris would rise up in a revolt but that did not happen. May I ask u ur views as to why the Kashmiris had not risen in revolt against Bharat?

In 1965 Indian army went and captured Lahore's police stations there are still pictures on on internet 😂 where Sikh regiment doing bhangra on Lahore's Burkee Police station with Indian flag 🇮🇳

Mir Sahib does not mention that in 1947 tribal readers reached Baramulla which is only 32 miles from Srinagar on 26 October 1947 morning and could have captured Srinagar by noon. Instead tribal readers rested at Baramulla to loot . The Indian Army landed at Srinagar on 27 October morning.

Abdul Ali Malik (who both were belong to Ahmadya community) Also many many others exists who performed bravely in Air force n Navy also.

Submarine had no business to be there because of shallow waters. hmm.. India lost the 1947-48 war with Pakistan and lost some territories with Pakistan. 1965 war was a stalemate as per the Tashkent agreement. War is won politically. Again in the 1971 war, Pakistan forced India to sign the Simla agreement. The only wars that India has won are the Siachin and the 1999 Kargil war.

To build up a reputation and credibility you take a life time. To loose it it doesn' t take even one hour.

That's the point. Pakistan has been confused about who its father is between US and China since it's inception. That's why you couldn't attack India during 1962 Indo-China war despite China's asking you to do so... Whereas India despite getting a setback in 1962, shafted you 4 more times after that.
