My boys neutral is really something else, don't even matter the character. It took me a coo minute to even realize how important and how many different aspects go into having a good neutral patience, reactions, execution, timing and none of that shits easy especially with the way some ppl play just lame or disrespectful AF it's easy to get knocked out of focus. No more rambling I respect punks neutral game period.

For my Kim mains… Kim has a pseudo block infinite when opponents are in burn out. Use cr.HP xx Run~HK then cr. LP to frame trap. The only way out for most characters is Super. Good news is you can just Run Stop after to bait & punish.

@@Un1234l this is only possible because all your moves get an additional +4f when your opponent is in burn out. Cammy has one with her HP spin knuckle. Ken can also loop you with the Jinrai Kicks. Kim’s is great because it can be done anywhere on screen.

I love the different little transitions the editor does when punk moves up the bracket, the little touches like that really improve the video and give it some personality! Keep it up

JP in general is a disease against Luke, Ryu, Ken, Chun Li and Marisa as well which is most of my roster...you have to learn how to counter his zoning and mixups...its like a worse version of Dhalsim.

It's crazy how privileged we are and how high the standards for balance are that a character as good as Kimberly is considered low tier. Kim is better and scarier than like the whole lower 3rd of the cast of SF4 ever was.

Your mistake is that you’re comparing other games. Within SF6 there are characters that play the game better, easier, etc. Match ups also play a factor in placement. Overall, SF6 is a balanced game because it relies on its system mechanics heavily, so every character is pretty much viable.

punk has goldy reaction timings. thats the key factor in using every character. anyone can do combos but to find that gap is so hard.

JP stops em again kinda like I expected. he just feels like a proper Boss type character who does well against most character who don't have a fireball or another way to get close.

I always do the target combo too (Bronze here). This combo is way harder but it is more damaging and gives better oki.

you can punish a lot of JPs full screen stuff with teleport but its hard.

Her set ups are good and frame traps especially , good footsies but against zoning she has it rough unless you are a god at parrying. Punk needs to up his parry game. Its just not in his nature and he needs to learn a different gear.

Been trying some Kimberly today at last for real this time my favorite part of using her in training has to be using the different ambiguous run setups with the can...opponent almost cannot guess in time from what I'm going to pull out of when I get to the end of the run so many options!

For some reason the slide doesnt cancel into tatsu. Trials says you can but i beg to differ. Window must be frame perfect i guess.

I hate that you can make cr. HP whiff completely by emptying jumping. Kim is so weird with so many situational anti-airs. cr. HP helps starts her mixup but it's got a jank hitbox that's mainly vertical, st. HK is too slow and requires specific spacing, and tatsu/izuna drop gets beaten out by stuff like Luke/Ken j. HP. She's solid but she needs slight adjustments to her some of her moves (not so much her frame data).

Kimberly was nerfed but she’s not low tier. It’s just most people really don’t know how to play her effectively. She is a lot like Chun-Li (a character that requires skill) and most tier lists have Chun mid tier.

She’s still low tier IMO. No reversal (except lvl3), no low into drive rush, low damage output, no safe special to rely on.

@@KARS215 Manon, Lily, and Zangief have no reversal and drive rush and she’s better than those three. Grapplers clearly are bottom tier. Kimberly has arguably one of the best corner pressure in the game. Her drive rush is good. And if they give her back her EX reverse tatsu she would be top tier again. Really I’ll be glad when overrated Marisa becomes low tier because she actually is without all her armor and high damage. Marisa is just like Zangief.

@@tynishabelk3523 they are low tier, but notice you didn’t name one character Kim is better than and has those tools. Even if she got her reversal back she still wouldn’t be top tier. She has a good corner game sure, but players shouldn’t be getting mixed high/low often because parry can take away the guess. Parry canceled into Drive Reversal is also a big brain strategy that can get her off you in the corner and also beats throws/ bomb mix.

@@KARS215 I named three characters she was better than with her tools = Lily, Manon, and Zangief and gave you the reasons why she was better. I also think she has better tools than Marisa. So that’s FOUR. The former three have no drive rush but Kimberly does. She also has great corner pressure. She was top tier with her EX tatsu in the beta which is why she was hated & nerfed first to begin with. She has good matchups with half the cast even with her current tools. Next.

@@tynishabelk3523Marisa is overrated but you cant really disagree, she is right under the top tiers imo. Marisa has great special moves such as phalanx and gladius. Spartan kick is decent for pokes in neutral and a level 3 confirm. Spectacular meaties. Obnoxious plus frames. Great target combo they like to spam so Marisa’s dont get DI. Cant be drive impacted. Diabolical damage. Level 3 auto sends you to corner. Works extremely well with system mechanics as she eats your drive gauge like a Nature Valley bar, proceeds to DI you from cringe plus normal. Obnoxious command grab as well that she happens to have, does too much damage. Last but not least, the dreaded EX PARRY. Marisa may be overrated by some but im sure you could understand why that is the case
