He didn't help me any! I could never afford to go to college. I went to trade school through my Local Plumbers and Steam Fitters Union. While my college educated friends came home to working as clerks and working at WalMart, McDonalds, I was bringing home more money in a week than they were in a month! You don't need a college education in business, you'll make more money driving a Dump Truck, out of the Teamsters Union! Construction is where you want to be. There will always be jobs in all phases and kinds of Construction for women and men!

The only people this handout is intended to help is Big Education. There are people who took out student loans only because he promised to forgive them. Without that, Big Education wouldn't have gotten that money. And then Big Education couldn't donate to democrats' midterms and 2024 campaigns.

Too late for that who would retract and add additional paperwork and stir controversy just to appease a jealous base of people.

Forgiving student loans did not gain the Dem's any new voters but it certainly cost them a bunch of them. Middle of the road folks like most of my family, that have historically voted either side of the isle, have now vocally expressed disappointment in the party.

Here's a thought. Let colleges and universities hold the notes on all student loans. No more government backing just trust in the future graduates to pay them back. Its like telling universities put up or shut up. You must guarantee your product like any other business.

Hope Biden and Democrats voters now can see what our country is coming to. These loans went to a better living than most students. They bought new cars, big beech parties during off Tim’s. Buy things like a boat and dock it near by. Not one part time jobs. Some colleges have student work programs that don’t get used. My daughter worked full time 4 yers wore out 2 little used Chevrolets . Students living on campus and their home within 20 miles of the university. People drive farther than that every day to work why do we have to pay for that.

Those student loan payoffs could've gone towards helping veterans find jobs, high hospital debts for cancer survivors, establishing safe temporary communities for homeless people that WANT to find work and build their lives, etc. Any number of options that would actually benefit Americans that want to contribute to the country. If someone is making 125k, they can afford to pay off the loan the voluntarily accepted!! This was by far the most irresponsible thing I've ever seen from someone claiming to be our president!
