Really well played of both MrBoomBastic and Landser! I've got two questions: 1) How are you recording your games? Do you need specific software for that? 2) In another replay you did a birdview while you were playing. How did you do that?

thanks, man! 1) there are saved files you can watch in singleplayer mode (under "Load") 2) that´s right and I recommend activating birdview while playing for a better overview. Just press "F7" on your keyboard, maybe in combination with the "Fn"-key

Hi, I also love this game so recently I has tried to install it on my Windows 10 to play. However, my game is super laggy! I followed some instructions on the Internet but they don't help much. So I just want to ask that which version of Windows you play this game on? If it is Windows 10, did you find it laggy and do something to fix? Thanks a lot!

Hi there, I also have Windows 10 but for me the game runs pretty smoothly. I bought it on steam, maybe thats an option for you to as it only costs 5 € there I believe. In terms of experiencing lags I heard a few times that setting the log.txt file to 'read only' fixed the problem. Hope that helps

While playing this way could indeed be electrifying, what a game could Cossacks II have been if players could not place multiple cavalries one above another? This thing is driving me and my friends rather crazy, it ultimately subverts the slower strategic feel you get from the offline experience (but the AI, sadly, is quite poor). I'm really hoping one skilled modder could prevent friendly cavalries (and infantry) to be placed in such way before being sent to battle. Cavalry overlap + morale of CII sometimes make me desire a classic huge battle of old Cossacks I where, at least, no one can gain this kind of advantage.

Nice come back there for the Britain toward the end.

How do you speed up the replay? Gamespeed options doesn't work for me in replays.

For me it´s working by simply pressing the "+" key on the keyboard. Hope that works for you, too

Spain is the easiest to play for. Will run out of resources in longer games though.

maybe the only disadvantage: no ulans who don´t need iron but the cheap and quickly trained guerilla units and the possibility of grenadiers early in the game are definitely a big plus for Spain

this is way too fast.
