Merci pour cette leçon très intéressante ! J'avais du mal entre le "who" et "whom". Voici une astuce qui marche bien pour moi pour les différencier : si on peut remplacer par he/she, c'est who, si on remplace par him/her, c'est whom. Plus facile à l'écrit qu'à l'oral quand on n'est pas fluent mais c'est un bon départ :) Tu confirmes l'astuce ?

Coucou ! " to have a problem with something " et " to have no problem (au singulier sans S) with something " veulent dire " je suis d'accord " et " je ne suis pas d'accord " avec qqch. Ça me convient (ne me dérange pas), ça ne me convient pas (ça me dérange). Il y a aussi " to have problems/a problem (in) doing something " et " to have no problem (in) doing something ", là le sens est différent. Ici l'on dit " c'est facile pour moi " et " c'est difficile pour moi " Je crois que tu as voulu dire : I had no problem (in) doing the quiz. Si l'on parle d'un seul quiz spécifique (ce quiz) : I had no problem (in) doing the quiz, which was a piece of cake for me. Si l'on parle des quiz en général (tous les quiz) : I have no problem (in) doing the quizzes, which is now as easy as pie for me (which représente " doing the quizzes ")

He needs to repair (l'infinitif) the house => le sujet va faire l'action de réparer The house needs repairing = the house needs to be repaired => le sujet va subir l'action de réparer On peut aussi mettre un nom après to need : the house needs repairs (nom au pluriel) He needs money (il a besoin d'argent ) to repair the house.

I have been learning English on Cambly for two years and half and I feel like I am getting worse the more I practise. Maybe, it's quite normal?! Le pronom relatif "whom" n'est employé que pour les personnes. Par exemple : The man (whom) you saw yesterday is my brother (whom est facultatif dans cette phrase). Pour parler d'un film (pas une personne) que l'on a vu, il faut employer soit that soit which comme pronom relatif : The movie (that/which) we watched was fantastic. (that/which est facultatif dans cette phrase).

Je ne comprends pas la différence entre who et whom. Les exemples sont pratiquement les mêmes entre : The women whom you met yesterday is my aunt AND The man who is talking to John is my brother
