Who Was Korah? || A Story From Rebellion to Redemption

A passage from Jude chapter 1 gives the strong warning to its readers not to act rebellious like Korah lest they perish in his same way. Who was Korah? What did he do, and where does his story come from? Let's explore the story of Korah 🚀
"Woe to them! For they walked in the way of Cain and abandoned themselves for the sake of gain to Balaam’s error and perished in Korah’s rebellion." Jude 1:11

Interesting that you don't mention Hannah's role of intercessory prayer to bring Samuel into the world. In the face of a corrupt priesthood and a husband who thought she should be satisfied with him alone, Hannah (also a Korhite) sought the Lord and He granted her petition. She is actually the lynchpin in this story of redemption.

Samuels Levitic lineage came through Elkanah not Hannah. Where do you find Hannah descended from Levi?

God bless you brother. Good work. Jesus is coming!! Amen. God is merciful. He always forgives. Never be ashamed to take your failures to him. He is for you, not against you! God is with you in the storm. He knows your troubles, he hears you! He is for you, on your side, always! It may feel silent at times, but he’s holding you close! May the Lord return soon! We are drawing closer. He is coming! Believe and trust in the Lord, you will be saved. Period. May the Lord bless you all! Hang in there family. Stay strong. It is not easy following the Lord. We are scoffed at. We give up our earthly dreams, our fleshly desires. What the enemy offers is short lived, but heaven is forever! Life may seem or be unfair, but God is with you! Always remember that. Things may get better or worse for you, but a kingdom awaits you! Finish the race! Repent daily and carry your cross. This world is fading fast. Your troubles are temporary! I made this channel because I felt guilty for not witnessing enough, I’d appreciate any kind of support. Don’t give up! God loves you so much! So do I. The Lord bless you!

Thank you so much for your video I just had a quick question if the core nights were destroyed at the time of Moses and Aaron and you're saying that seven generations after including Samuel which is a chorus how did this become if they were all destroyed. In other words how was it that Samuel was a korite if he consumed them during the time of Moses? If you can please if you can explain that I appreciate it thank you.

It stands that not all descendants of Korah (the Korahites) were destroyed in the wilderness. We do know that the scripture condemns his "followers" and those living in his tent at the time judgment was pronounced. Samuels Levitic lineage comes from his father Elkanah.

First the creator's name isn't god. This term was literally from the name of a Pan Semitic deity of fortune named "Gawd." He has a name that distinguishes him from all the others and it's Yahweh!

John 1:10 "He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him." (ESV) Who is this speaking of? and, what is His name? By the way, God isn't a name as we apply them, it is more a title defining His sovereignty over all else.
