He said he had gotten into a really toxic relationship after he and I had broken up and that he was still trying to get over her and that he didn't want to get into another relationshio until he healed, etc. I decided at that point that it was best for myself to not see him in person or hang out with him as I still have feelings for him and it would only open up the wound in my heart from our break up. Knowing that he is not interested in a second chance with us made it clear that It's not a good idea to be spending time with him, if that makes sense. He is obviously not ready or wanting me or a relationship with me anyways. I told him that I will always love him and he told me that he loves and misses me, too. At least it was some closure. I have not heard from him again in 10 days. I am tryoing to let him go all over again.
