I imagine they were still working out exactly what happened with Charles Ingram, and thus they didn't know his accomplice and aored his run at the time. And yes, the Jeff Gross shown as a faster finger contestant is the same one who won $500,000 the the US syndicated version of Millionaire.

Notice that Charles Ingram's name didn't even appear when the FFF contestants were introduced and when the names came up afterwards, clearly all edited right out. There was only 9 when introduced as 10!!

The 2006 edit of this aired on the Chase Channel recently... very easy to spot the confetti.

- Ingram sat Tracey’s seat after her and Darren reach to the hot seat. - There is no confetti when Tarrant introduced another 10 contestants. I think it was recorded earlier before the major’s game. - When klaxon called, Tarrant also said about Tracey and Darren which was recorded day before. - An audience when Chris announced a phone competition 38:20 and the thing that I say before also different. - It is very quick that the show know about that cough only a week after recorded. (9th and 10th) - 35:12 A woman sat on FFF seat no.1 but the first FFF who was announced was a man.

I suspect 35:10 onwards was a pick-up shot because unusually Chris Tarrant and John Norton are in the same clothes the following show, and furthermore the lack of confetti is a giveaway.

There were definitely pick up shots done but not two whole games worth as the confetti is still the floor.

The glitter from Charles Ingram's cheating £1 million win magically appears at 35:58 and it was NOT there beforehand, how come?!

7:28 and 34:52 notice the same clip where Chris Tarrant says "OK, we have ten brand new contestants this Saturday night, we'll meet them all, in a couple of minutes, after the break, join us again, don't go away!".

Yes, and soon after, the contestant vanishes.

Notice how he says, "tonight's ten contestants" and reads out nine, since Ingram was edited out.

Mighta been hard to do. But I could see the logic in that for sure. It's nice to see this though. I always wondered how they handled this given the other contestants around his shows. I thought maybe they got screwed over since his game got scrubbed. Glad to see that wasn't the case.

Ingram was telephoned on 17 September, making me believe they actually broadcast the first half of his run, but this puts the kibosh on that. Although, mind you, I gather 9/11 messed up almost every programme on every channel.

Yep, there was supposed to be a film after the show at 9pm which was cancelled to make way for extended news bulletins

I don't understand why T W was aloud on considering the individual was every bit as guilty if it was after the episode with major fraud? T W didn't get into the chair before hand. Julie Gill, Glasgow, Scotland.

Strange how Tecwen was shown, but the Major and Diana wasn't shown. I guess at the time they didn't think he was involved with it.

Diana wasn't in FFF at that time. She had already played in a prior episode.

It seems they stuck on the last 20 minutes of what should've been Tuesday's (18th) episode immediately after Ingram had won and went on to the next player (Tecwen) completely omitting his run like it never happened. What did they show on the Tuesday then?

@@superjamie1247 Not neccassrily. After Nick Hulse walked away with £8,000 they called time on the show for that night and the Saturday the 22nd they managed to fill in the out of sync schedule with a celebrity double special featuring the likes of Jasper Carrott and Jonathan Ross

This looks like Chris Tarrant (and John Norton) were asked to wear the same clothes and do pick-up shots at certain points where they couldn’t hide the join. I have no idea what the original edit (i.e. positioning of the third ad break) was on Ingram’s second show and indeed how far John Norton actually got and whether anyone else got in the chair.

@@RBenjo21 John Norton (Rocket to his mates) got to £125,000. The contestants that got on after him as I mentioned were Janie McCathie who won £16,000 and Nick Hulse who pocketed £8,000
