I love how this immediately picks up Acai’s mood; I love listening to all these mashup videos over and over, and while the songs are fire, it’s also really nice to see just how much music can do for everyone’s general mood and morale, and I feel like this video is a great example

Oh, I wish I could experience the “Haaa” in Smells Like Disco Fever for the first time again.

I feel like mashup artists just run two instances of their favorite song playlists at the same time and end up hearing two songs that vaguely sound interesting, then they pull up an audio software and fucking *DECIMATE* everything and glue it back together and come out the other end with what can only be described as a masterpiece. Which is to say, much more effort than I would really be willing to put forward. Bravo to the absolute units known as mashup artists for coming up with these mashups, like really *HOW* does one imagine such creations?

This has taught me that Acai can also sing and harmonize

You should check out Everhood. It's not really a rhythm game, in a sense where you have to hit notes, but dodge them from whatever encounter you fight. But each attack (note) the enemy throws corresponds with the music perfectly as if it was charted, and you're only allowed to move your character on a plane that goes left and right. Also the music fuckin bangs and a lot of wacky stuff happens in fights. You'll probably like it even if it's not quite a rhythm game.
