Road Rap is were UK drill has its roots, but I'll let you in on an unrealised fact 80%of those beats PYG and Gas gang used were actually American beats too just like how most UK drill tunes started of being on US beats. The earliest recording of a UK group using an American style drill beat to talk about doing road is Keep on trapping by liquez. For example 'Fresh home' by Johnny gunz which is probably the most memorable and well known road Rap tune used a Lloyd Banks beat called 'without my gun' or the Gas gang anthem which used busta rhymes Arab Money beat. I'm well informed on this hip hop shit because I've listened to everything from early 80s hip hop up to drill today it's hard to dispute this.

    @@drizzo2099 Also I know you heard that from TrapLoreRuss and although I like his extensive research I think he misses some key features in 67 playing the biggest role on setting UK drill up, considering they dropped a tape which is basically all drill beats like a year before sticks and that even properly started doing drill.

    it went from chicago to NY then to the UK. then the UK reinvented the sound and the UK sound got shipped to NY. im american but I fw UK drill heavy, probably because im Nigerian and the mandem are deep round there lol. but u can tell early UK drill artist literally studied the sound, the slang and the mannerisms of chicago niggas. if u just played a early UK drill video on mute you wouldnt know if it was some spot in London or 63rd street

    Section Boyz basically championed the UK Trap scene and overshadowed everybody else. Drill comes from Trap music but that's in America where they both originated. Our versions of American music didn't evolve like how UK Rap did from UK Hip Hop.
