Thanks so much for doing this video because not only did you affirm what we’ve felt all along - which was thatfrom a performance standpoint and all of what we’ve learned over the decades about miss universe, Janine had all the bulletpoints checked. So when Miss USA won, it was a complete head scratcher. So many people kept saying that it was judged from the entire journey of miss universe and not just from the Q&A, (in other words, after the top 5 selection, all 5 girls start on a clean slate, an argument that could be said to justify how Miss Botswana’s amazing answer singlehandedly clinched the 1999 title, stealing it away from the favored Miss Philippines who was so favored to win, she was asked to present Trinidad and Tobago by herself in video presentation instead of Trinidad and Tobago) Your analysis shows that if the judging was based on the entire performance , then USA should have still lost becuae she was not good st the swimsuit walk , nor the gown , nor the Q&A. So thank you for being the voice of reason who can finally render those against Janine as obsolete jealous idiots.

I hated MUO that year for robbing the title from Janine. Love ur videos Siera and pls do make videos on Miss universe south africa and Venezuela.

Real P'son Not true. This pageant winner didn’t make any sense. The best looking girls were Venezuela and Australia. Their performance was the best. Sadly Venezuela’s answer was painful to watch. So that year Australia should have one. She was the perfect package. Her answer was decent and her performance was amazing. I know a lot of Filipinos wanted miss Philippines to win but her answer was the only thing great to me. Her beauty was nowhere compared to miss Venezuela and Australia. One answer does not make miss universe. Is The whole package. Now Miss USA was having drama before she won miss USA. A girl said she saw a list with her name winning. And when she won miss Universe I started to believe this list. So the truth is miss USA never should have won and The only reason Miss Australia was not holding Miss USA hand was because Miss Australia was so gorgeous that it would be ridiculous to miss USA winning. So they got Miss Philippines who was the average looking of all the girls.

But for my opinion, all performance of Janine togonon Miss Philippines is the best. I agree on what Sierra had said. Because in the beginning , many of us knew that Philippines will be the winner but shocks after the result shown. Hmmmmmmm.

I remember watching Olivia’’s interview. She was asked about Miss Philippines more deserving as Miss Universe and she said flat out. “Yes, I think Miss Philippines should have won”

Janine won...Trump rigged it in favor of Olivia. The writings was clearly on the wall. While Olivia made an awesome Miss Universe and perhaps was the most likeable during prelims interviews, her performance final night wasn't anything special. Miss Universe was actually her 3rd pageant and her inexperience showed. Further more on that night...Trump tweeted out his "favorite" picks before the show and guess what....they all were semi finalist. .... During trump years...those that scored the highest in prelims didn't always make the finals...7 spots were reserved for Trump pics and he'd use them to replace who he didnt want as his top 15 etc.
