Who's to BLAME for the Sonics LEAVING Seattle? You'll be SURPRISED.

Спорт

Seattle fans are hungry and are longing for an NBA team to be back again in their city. 14 years ago, they had one of the most iconic teams in the league that was loved by many.
But why did a team that has one of the richest history in the NBA, suddenly departs for Oklahoma City in 2008?
People blamed Howard Schultz, Clay Bennett, the late commissioner David Stern, and the NBA for the Sonics leaving Seattle.
But, are they the ONES REALLY to be BLAMED?
Or is there anyone else who had GREATER CULPABILITY?

"You don't get to cry when billionaires move your team" Hell yes you do. I don't even live in seattle, I'm in portland and am a blazers fan. Watching them get their team stolen by greedy jerkoffs from oklahoma of all places is more than enough reason to cry. This is not a both sides situation.

As a person who followed closely the saga of the Sonics leaving Seattle, this is a oversimplification of the story - too many important details are either glossed over and simply not mentioned in this video. For the real telling of the story, watch Sonicsgate - it includes emails between David Stern & Clay Bennett, why the city didn’t want to pay for ANOTHER pro sports arena (having just paid for the Seahawks’ & Mariners’ fields) and more telling details.
