I dont agree with u. Yes, Ranveer Singh was great as Allaudin Khilji, but that was only 1 role he was great at. Ranbir Kapoor has several great performances. There was Rockstar, Aye Dil hai Mushkil, he played an awesome Sanjay Dutt in Sanju, he was awesome in Bachna eh Hasino. And alot more. So there really is no comparison. Ranveer Singh does alot of over acting. He sometimes looks like a psycho and that kind of acting only worked in Padmavat. I hated his acting in Bajirao Mastani. Too too much over acting. I only liked that movie cuz of Priyanka and Deepika. I think Ranbir Kapoor would have done a much much better job in that too.

@@debayanpal3181 i already watched both, Padmavat and Bajirao Mastani. And between both of those, i have already said Ranveer Singh's Allaudin Khilji role was on the dot. But I did not like him as Bajirao. Simply put, i don't like his personality.

Ranbir has wide range in action..that ranveer singh doesn't..Ranbir eyes are main weapon of his acting ..which in ranveer lacks.

Ranbir kapoor was always my favorite actor i never considered ranveer singh as my favorite actor until and unless i saw padmavat his acting in padmavat was ultimate masterpiece

Anyone who knows something about film, craft, art, theatres...anyone who's seen greatest films from the greatest directors around the world... would always choose Ranbir Kapoor over most other actors in India as the best actor. The actors passed out from NSD do also say the same. There's not even a comparison here with Ranveer. Ranveer only has the ability to play the same character with different costumes, his focus remains only on the outward looks, inwards he is the same Ranveer singh in every movie with his loud over the top acting and melodrama. Ranbir Kapoor's eyes are enough to end this comparison. With Animal he again proved what he is capable of...but I still believe the best is yet to come.

If i had to choose between Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, hands down it would be Ranbir Kapoor. So far, i only liked 2 movies with Ranveer Singh in it. 1st was Dil Dharak Ne Do and 2nd was Padmavat. My liking to Dil Dharakne Do was not because of him. It was because of the over all story and cast. Yes, in Padmavat, he did a great job as Aludin Khilji but thats it. I dont really like his acting. I really dont even like his personality much. But Ranbir Kapoor is totally the opposite. He is a great actor, very very good looking, and has a great personality. And i love the types of roles he chooses and the types of movies he comes in. And its not cuz he belongs to the family that owns all of Bollywood. That is a seperate point. But he himself is a great artist, just like his father, Grand father (who happens to be my most fav even though he is not from my gen), and great grandfather .
