It's not even that, the sounds are glitchy as hell, sometimes the echoing ignores some holes and the sound can actually echo from the longer route etc i have learned it pretty well but i still get disoriented pretty often.

I agree. Sometimes I hear something and think it’s behind too. But it’s just the sound sounds different because it’s echoing or a different type of floor the player is walking on. It takes a long time to get used to sound queues in this game.
