When you are 65kg man a 4kg cat is not very imposing but it would be to a 1.5kg rabbit, scale the cat up by the same proportions to 173kg and it won't look so harmless to a human either, basically would be a large Tiger.

I feel so bad for the owner, he really cared for them, and watching them die and seeing their dead bodies must be hard for him to except. He must be devastated at the amount of his little rabbits have died. They were innocent!

He's a cat with no experience or skill to hunt. Also, he's possibly a house cat. Therefore, eating sth that raw after killing might not give him the appetite to eat just like how suddenly you got lost in the woods or sth like that. To survive even drinking murky water will be hard for ya. So, same goes for the cat here~ :)

We see the depravity of humans all the time, with the way they treat their animals and the condition they come in. You would be shocked at what people would put an innocent animal thru. So I just have blinders on and assume that every horrible animal video is in some way the result of a cruel person in one way or another.

Plus he had nothing in his ears and was vaccinated, which seemed recent because he had high antibodies. He might have been let out at night by his owners and went to go hunt for fun.

I've seen pitbulls do it too. I saw a video of them ripping the cages to pieces and killing rabbits until they had to sleep from exhaustion, then waking up and killing the rest but never eating a single one of them. What this cat did was natural, one rabbit per hunt, what the dogs did was gleeful, mass murder..

Umm, maybe you shouldn't keep domesticated prey animals completely exposed and vulnerable outdoors. They have little to no instinct to survive in the wild as well as coloration that sticks out like a sore thumb and are pretty much at the mercy of any predators that come around. This owner was really passive and careless. It annoyed me so much! As a responsible rabbit owner, I hate how people treat them as disposable pets. Please spay or neuter your bunnies and preferably keep them indoors or at least an outdoor pen that is not accessible to predators (the cat skulking around and trying to get at the bunnies through chicken wire was not good - they could actually die of a heart attack from that level of stress). Smh... 🤦‍♀️

Which he eventually did and got the culprit. Rabbits are naturally burrowing animals that live outdoors. The best thing he could so is have plenty of hiding spaces for the rabbits that is too small for cats to get in. They are prey to many animals.

Omy I think it was more from how he wasn’t used to eating them. It’s possible he was once owned by someone, so catching and eating prey isn’t something he’s used to. He’s trying to figure out how this hunting instinct works. If he’s a desperate hungry kitty there’s no way he’d leave his food like that. No street/wild animal would just waste food opportunities.

I love cat a lot but some of them really needs different type of approach. Poor boy is terrified, and it's so sad that he probably had a home once.

Bunny meat skewer is delicious tho.. Sweet and tender

We had an acre garden on the edge of town. All our house cats caught rabbits. One mother took her kittens down and taught them to sit still by the rabbit burrows until one came out then pounce. Earlier she has brought up an unharmed baby mouse and put it in the box with the kittens. She made sure the poor thing couldnt escape until one of the kittens killed it.

The bunnies seem to have a very good bunny life Bunnies are in the bottom of the food chain and this is interesting and like a mysterium at the same time. Fascinating that a cat can pull this off! 😄 i have ”free range” rabbits and cats wanders here almost every night but nothing has ever happened. Owner did take measures and things got solved. Hope tiger cat gets a good home with many bunnies 😂😂😂

I had rabbits once but my dad built a type of cage so the cats won't be able to Hurt them, sometimes we let them out but I was checking on them every ten or every 15 minutes, to see if they were ok, I loved them so bad I feel sad that I left them with someone else, I loved my babies so freaking bad:( but I had to move out of the country:( I really miss them:(

My cats hunt birds a mice and always eat them... And actually my other cat is the odd one out xD She cuddles with my hamsters and rabbits... Yeahhh... She is not normal

Yeah but rabbits and cats are both nocturnal. So the bunnies would not be in the holes at night. And if it went in a hole for safety, the cat would have waited for it to come out and then grab it

if i were him,after 2 were killed. i'd make a room in my house into a outside themed room.

I am so glad that it wasn't an evil person killing off the rabbits. I usually love cats, but it was scary seeing that cat take out the rabbits.

As the vet said, he is too clean and vaccinated, so he was someone's pet. He might have started spraying inside or the family might have moved and left him... who knows. But he was practicing his hunting skills to learn how to survive outside.

I'm so glad they finally put the rabbits in a protected area! They were sacrificed as bait too many times. The cat was probably abandoned by it's humans. He was so hungry! In the end, I'm glad all the animals are going to be okay. That cat is definitely adoptable easily. He'll probably be bringing his new family little "gifts" of appreciation!😅 Thanks!👍😊💕🐾🐇💕🐾🐈💕
