@@shahjee675 I was telling you that you should read histroy first then you can know the situation, kashmir was not a democracy in which people had choice of joining pak or india rather it was a princely state whose ruler was hindu. So there was no role of ordinary Kashmiri in the process . Also india would have not come into Kashmir if Pakistan didn't attacked Kashmir, because by attacking Kashmir hindu ruler worried that I am joining with muslim country and I would loose by position so he signed instrument of accession with india in which he said I am joining with union of india.earlier he was offered to join india (before attack) but he had refused to join and wanted to remain independent from both parties, but because it was under attack so he was forced to join india to save himself. He left Kashmir in the hand of sheikh Abdullah. You should read poets(Kashmiri)of that time, who were sad on the situation and they had no power like any other ordinary Kashmir. Regarding Iqbal i told you that his orgin is from kashmir
