Welcome to the weekly live Q&A with Pastor David Guzik, author of the Enduring Word Bible commentary. After our lead question, Pastor David takes questions via the live chat - simply add your questions & our moderators will arrange & deliver them to Pastor David according to theme or subject!
This week, Pastor David's lead question comes from a KZread comment from Marissa:
"David I have a question: I recently heard a Pastor make the assertion that Jesus himself said (no scripture quoted) that the generation that sees Israel become a nation again (in 1948) will not die out before all end time events have unfolded. Is this biblical? Thanks!"

This week's questions:
0:00 Greetings and introduction
1:50 Thank you for your prayers! Please pray for upcoming trip to Nairobi!
2:50 Lead Question
14:40 is not a generation “120 years,” according to the bible?
18:25 Doesn't the word GENERATION also mean RACE, FAMILY?
20:30 How about using 120 years, from Genesis 6:3? That would be the year 2068.
22:30 When Jesus rose on the third day, was He still man? Or was He Spirit in the flesh? God bless you & all involved with Enduring Word.
26:40 What are the ways in which our will is not free?
30:35 Is it wrong to be in a girlfriend-boyfriend relationship according to the Bible?
33:15 Regarding the “Generation not passing away” potentially being a race or peoples, I keep thinking of God making “One new man" out of Jews and Gentiles, so the "race" of Jews may not be Jews AFTER the millennium. So that the Generation (race) of the Jewish people would remain until that “One new man” was created - Maybe that's too far fetched?
35:50 What about using dating apps? (to find dates that would lead to Marriage, of course)
Is that not appropriate for Christians or wrong according to the Bible?
37:45 (Against turning the traditions of man into the commandments of God)
38:55 I've been arguing about God's existence with 2 friends that say they're open to being convinced, but that they want me to "fully, logically prove" that God exists. I've tried every argument I have, even my testimony, but it's not enough for them. Am I wasting my time?
43:15 How to live in unity with the Spirit?
46:46 If we believe in God now are we guaranteed to be in heaven? Or do we have to complete our life following Him all the way through, and Then we go to heaven?
49:49 I recently heard someone speaking on the "council of heaven". Who is this council and what is their function?
51:30 Is “the Passion of the Christ” historically accurate? as in the clothing, the way the set is made ect? And should I watch It as a Christian?
53:25 Does John 3:5 mean you must be baptized to enter Heaven? Mark 16:16 seems to suggest that this is not so as it say " he who does not believe will be condemned". Or is it that there is no baptism anyway because there is no belief? Please let me know your thoughts.
56:15 I saw where tests were done about the blood of Jesus Christ, I don't keep up with latest discoveries etc, I assume they took samples from the tomb, the cloth, which they say was with Jesus etc... anyway they supposedly tested the DNA, which proved his Father could not have been human… Does this story hold water? Or is this a lot of generous science proving this?
57:45 My friend asked why was the Old Testament written? I can't seem to satisfy the question. please help!
58:20 For those guilty of infidelity when they separate, as long as they don’t remarry, they are not guilty of adultery, correct?
59:05 Should christians ( especially pre-trib believers ) think so much about these eschatology topics, as we'll be removed before antichrist, tribulation, etc.?
1:00:05 The church my wife and I have been going to is cessationist. This is how my wife believes also, but My experience and scriptural understanding shows me the opposite, I'm a continuationist. We collide on this issue constantly, and it has been hard on our marriage. Any council?
1:02:00 I'm only 3 years old in Christ, and I'm wondering why in Numbers 11, the people complained and wanted flesh to eat. Weren't they sacrificing animals and eating them?
1:03:27 Why should we pray for Jesus to return again soon, considering there are still a lot of people who are not yet saved and in need of God’s grace of salvation?
1:04:40 What ways can I abide in Christ so that I am not ashamed of myself at his coming?

The parable gives us the key, whatever Gen. see *ALL THESE THINGS* and its 10-12 signs from vs. 4-31, and the LAST SIGN (all these things) is the Sun & Moon going Dark pastor, so THAT GENERATION must be living during the Rev. 8 Trumpet Judgments that darken the sun & moon (via Apophis IMHO). See my point? I've been called to prophecy for 40 years, so I pondered this long ago, 👌

@@DavidGuzikEnduringWord you haven't learned the parable of the fig tree and it's sad you go ahead and teach error. You read forward not backward, after the chapter break when the saints are gathered from where? 4 winds of HEAVEN. Foward read describe the birth of Israel in a day, out of the root HE had cursed 1900 years earlier. It put forth leaves in 1949 by taking back territory. Today in Gaza it is putting forth leaves and the final leaves will be the annexation of Jerusalem fulfilling Lk. 21:24 the trodden under foot of Jerusalem until the Time of Gentiles be fulfilled. Reading forward, the language becomes traditional Jewish wedding language. "only the FATHER knows the hour because JESUS went back to prepare a place for HIS bride "the Body of CHRIST"; Jn. 14:1-3. Jewish tradition only the father knew the day and hour when he would say son go get your bride, its time. Like in the time of Noah tells us the people are doing business as usual, not the worst tribulation the world has ever seen. 2 in the field, mill and bed, on taken the other left behind. The thief in the night is also Jewish traditional wedding language, when in the midnight hour the groom would snatch away his bride and return to the place he prepared. The generation that saw the tender branch in 1948 will see the Rapture in their generation. Note: The tender branch only puts forth leaves, not fruit. Scripture holds true

Thank you Pastor Guzik I first found your work in Exodus I have never heard anyone giving a partial 1948 / fig tree scenario There were people putting their pets down in 1988 (a 40 year “generation”) No One knows the date of my coming, only the Father.. Psalm 90 - Moses describes a lifetime as 70 even 80 years The miraculous gathering of Israel was prophetic 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. I see the rapture eminent This generation - even if down to the very last remnant God bless He coming May many people including our loved ones come to Christ before this God Bless You

Amen. It only says the generation will still have people alive to witness 2 in the field one taken one left behind. With people able to reach 100 years old and beyond it could be 2048. I've discovered a prophecy in Joshua that points to about 2031 + or - a few years. The ark passes the children with about 2000 cubits gap between the Ark (Testimony of JESUS CHRIST) and when they cross the Jordan. "ABOUT 2000 CUBITS" makes "only the FATHER knows the day an hour hold true. No date setting allowed.

Pastor David, I'm a 60-something widow, still fairly "youngish". The Lord has repeatedly told me "I never made you to be alone like this"....since I'm a bit of a hermit since my husband died 7 years ago. So I know the Good Lord wants me to find a friendship / romantic? relationship for companionship. But if I marry ONE MORE TIME in this life, I'll puke. Then I'll lose my income for who knows what. And I don't care about sex. Now I look at you telling me I'm supposed to be out there man shopping for a husband AGAIN. Sorry. You might be in the prime of your "romantic" night life, but not all of us are. Some of us have physical problems that prevent it. I love most of your answers but this answer about boyfriend/girlfriend was dead wrong. It's not good for a man or woman to be alone. Now getting our minds out in the sunshine and out of a gutter somewhere....that means companionship and God has NO PROBLEM with companionship...especially for those of us who ask and answer ourselves and rely on a tv set for laughter. You just wait my friend. Wait until you find yourself alone again. I hope you'll take back your answer on that question. That poor man who asked it probably can't have a romantic night life....Did you ever consider that?????? Now he feels guilty for being lonely on top of it all. HMMMMM I love your answer sessions....and love listening to you too. Sorry I had to disagree so strongly.

Not on this subject. The tender branch was the fulfillment of Isa. 66:8 on May 14, 1948. They are 76 years young and could live past 100 years and the scripture still holds true today and 24 years from now. Come on, how is an abundance in agriculture a sign of the end. JESUS cursed the fig tree that no fruit would come from it. Leaves are not fruit, leaves are symbolic for Israel to increase its borders beginning in 1949 still ongoing until they make Jerusalem their Capital.

  • @Unknownfisherman

I don’t know but, admittedly, I lean toward believing that the fig tree is Israel due to current events more than anything else. The fact that Jesus was giving the signs of tribulation, which we know is only 7 years. It would have been redundant to say that was the terminal generation. I believe He was pointing us to something that would take a generation to unfold. I don’t believe he would have presented a teaching that is clearly outlined in Daniel in this way. I prefer to let the Bible interpret itself as to the length of a generation so, “…if by strength 80 years” Psalm 90:10. If it goes past 80 years then I will give up on that interpretation. Thank you for your service to our Lord Jesus Christ.

It's persuasive because it sounds good but it is pure nonsense. The generation that sees would be in their 90's. Now consider Revelation says the Anti-Christ will reign for 7 years. For it to be even remotely true, he would have to be revealed today.

I have heard many say, "the fig tree is a symbol of Israel." I do not find one verse, or reference in all of the Bible that say that. The old testament and the New Testament have the "Olive Tree" symbolic represents Israel. e.g. Jeremiah 11:16 The LORD called your name, Green Olive Tree, Romans 11:17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, I find Israel is symbolizes as an Olive Tree in scripture not one place could I find the fig tree used as a symbolic reference to the national symbol. Could you please show me from the Bible where the fig tree is a metaphor, symbolic or otherwise a reference to Israel? As everyone is saying let the Bible interpret the Bible!

The generation that shall not pass away is the people who will be living when the end times events occur. This is based on Matthew 24:34, which states, “Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.” The phrase "this generation" refers to the people alive in the future when the prophesied events occur. The events of the end times will happen quickly, once the signs of the end begin to be observed, the second coming and the judgment will occur within that last generation.

A generation are the group of people that all same the same event . A generation is 70 years by reason of strength 80. This is how the Jewish people would take this. Matthew 24 written to the Jews . So we would include the 2nd coming . Many Jews get saved after the rapture... But say we put aside this verse look at all the other signs mark of beast technology, political chaos, plagues ... The stage is being "Set" and we are seeing it. Notice fig tree and all the trees in Mt 24 world is ready. I feel at no time in history has the stage been set like right now I believe Jesus is coming very soon . These dating questions are perplexing. Date, have a boyfriend or a girlfriend. The prohibition is against sin. You are free to do anything that is not sin. Don't call things that aren't specifically named as sin... Sin.

Question: Acts 16:30-31 Question gets asked in Scripture “what must I do to be saved” God answers that question in Scripture with “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.” This contradicts the answer some pastors give which is “turn from sin and brlieve” can you expound on that? I can see after a person IS saved, telling them to turn from sin. But an unsaved man being told to do works before he’s saved, in order to get saved? That seems wrong, isn’t it?

I agree with you on the generation question, and the fig tree. I can’t see scripture latching onto the 1948 establishing of Israel as something firm to stand on. Whereas seeing the fig tree as representing watching for when these things will happen as far as signs He mentioned in the previous paragraphs for people to latch onto. People also use the 1948 establishing of Israel for pre-tribulation rapture count downs which I don’t agree with either. Thanks for you videos, I really enjoy them.

The parable of the fig tree and a generation are the focus of this chapter. When a fig tree is mentioned in prophecy, it’s always about Israel’s sin or rebellion. When an Olive tree is spoke of, it’s always Israel following after the Lord. This chapter is about rebellious Israel. Meaning, the generation will be the full length of the rebellion. We could easily pin the start of the rebellion in the Maccabees, but honestly, it started several hundred years earlier. So when did the rebellion end? The short answer is that it hasn’t. Although many individual Jews have recognized Jesus as their Messiah, but as a National entity, Israel is still in rebellion! Jesus’ prophecy is that His Chosen people will not pass away, until they all believe. When the rebellion is over that generation in unbelief will pass away. It’s a promise that Israel will not disappear! They will by no means pass away! Think I’m nuts? Do a word search for “generation” and you’ll soon find references to a generation of vipers. When would that start and end? It’s not the length of a man’s life, that’s for certain. Walk down a street in Jerusalem and you might get spat on by a Hasidic Jew! Vipers can spit their venom in eyes! I’m not ripping on any individual or the tiny nation of Israel, I’m pro Israel! I just recognize they’re still in rebellion and sadly, the analogy fits. After all consider the source of the analogy! There are many more verses that mention a “generation” that has an unknown timeframe. Psalm 14:5 “ God is in the generation of righteousness.” Psalm 112:2 “The generation of the upright shall be blessed.” Jeremiah 7:29 “for the Lord has rejected and forsaken the generation of His wrath.” Matthew 3:7 “O generation of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?” Matthew 12:39 “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign.” I’m sure you get the picture now. A generation can last a very, very long time! Blessing!

As we grow in our relationship with the Lord it's like a Bride looking forward to that wedding day. I have become so looking forward to that day that this world has no desire anymore. I also believe we as a church have come to a point where the Rapture will convince more doubters than all the evangelizing we can do in this day. I grew up at a time when most believed in God in general and it was more about how to live for the Lord. But now most are more and more convinced that there is no God. So for the thousands who have heard and don't believe 1 second after the rapture will confirm what they have been hearing from us who are born again.

One reason I do ask, is because If someone believes or feels They are going to Heaven and on that Day, they hear, Depart from me You Worker of Iniquity. It's to Late. There's Nothing that can be done. They will be in The Lake of FIRE, for Eternity. No Escape, never. I heard many say: they know without a doubt they are Saved and going to Heaven, because they said a Prayer. But there's No evidence. The only evidence says they Not Saved. But Why? Then I Read ( John 6:44 ) now I know what is Wrong.

@@bruce8961we only can be ready i believe for when a person is ready to hear. I love how Jesus says in Rev 2 & 3 to each Church He who has an ear . But like you said John 6 seems to indicate that hearing is something that the Holy Spirit has to prepare the person for. The key for us is to be ready to explain to that person when there ready. I read a very interesting book about a young lady in a Muslim country who says she heard directly from the Lord the plan of salvation and as a result was saved and was persecuted by her own family. She even tried to witness to them but to no avail. But i also have lost one of my daughters already to a brain swell. I remember that i believed she was saved but a few weeks prior to that time she indicated her disbelief. She was in a coma and i still spoke to her and reminded her to reach out to the Lord. After she died i was asking the Lord if she heard me and he reminded me of Lasarus. How Jesus called his name and Lasarus heard him after 4 days in the grave. My daughter was thought to be brain dead on wed of her last week. I spoke to her on Thursday and Friday they removed the breathing tube. Her heart stopped immediately. But i got great comfort from that story of lasarus that hearing is the last thing to go. Jesus helped me to see he is the one who opens ears and we just have to be there to bring the words. Now im not saying we shouldn't still try and talk with others but ultimately it will be the Lord who brings the increase. So as for the Rapture and going home. I believe like Paul said in Phi 1:23, i feel the same. But im happy to stay as long as Christ needs me too.

I think sometimes people confuse life expectancy with a generation. They're two different things. People who believe that the current day Jews in Israel is the generation Jesus is referring to in Matthew 24 sometimes will say that, because the rapture hasn't come yet, then the current generation could be 80 plus years. But that would be talking about life expectancy, not a generation.

The FATHER draws us to the SON. Everyone the FATHER draws to the SON is receive by the SON and HE loses none. No man can come to me except the FATHER which hath sent me DRAW him; and I will raise on the last day; Jn. 6:39,44.

According to scripture Christ humbled himself by taking on the form of a man. This is His resurrected and perfected physical form which ascended into the presence of the Father, making Him the firstborn among many brothers. He had appeared in human form before but hadn't taken on that form permanently. Since we know that no one has seen God, the Son has made Him known, we can make this connection about the physical appearances of God in the OT.

I think most people confuse hyper Calvinism with reformed theology. The Bible teaches that our choices are real choices with consequences. At the same time the Bible teaches that it is only God that change the heart and have predetermined it before time began(Eph 1) When we preach the gospel we plead for people to make the choice and we trust that the Lord will save whom he has chosen(Rom 9).How these two things work together remains a mystery. We will not fully understand on this side of the world how God's sovereignty and man's responsibility in Salvation works. The Bible teaches both.

So many questions but not enough time to ask them all. I suppose I will begin with the end. Throughout the video the reference is made to the final generation and the triumphant return. The discourse doesn't end with the end of the world /universe as we know it (kosmos), it is the end of the age. What reference in Matthew 24, or corresponding synoptic gospels, leads you to believe this is Christ's final return? What is, in your opinion, the Abomination of Desolation? How much relevance to your opinion is Luke's version of events? "when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies...". I do agree with you that the fig leaf part isn't too relevant. I would also want to ask about "coming on the clouds" and the other language used, when we see language in OT passages about God coming on the clouds it was in judgement on the Jews and resulted in the destruction of the first temple. I'm not trying to be devicive, I have heard several ways this was parsed and only one really makes sense of it all. Thank you in advance and God bless you.

The generation that the anti-christ is born into. Until then: What we need to know about ourselves from God's Word and our only hope of being justified before a Holy and righteous God: [WHY WE HAVE NO HOPE IN OURSELVES: Mk. 7:20-23 And he (Jesus) said, That which comes out of the man, that defiles the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things (sins) come from within, and defile the man.] [WHY WE NEED A SAVIOR: Rom. 3:10-28 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that does good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes. Now we know that what things so ever the law says, it says to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his (God's) sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ to all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believes in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Joh. 3:16 For God so loved the world (us), that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Joh. 14:6 Jesus said to him (us), I am the way (salvation), the truth (assurance), and the life (eternal): no man comes to (God) the Father, but by me (God the Son). Rom. 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:]

Genesis 15:16 seems to indicate a generation is about 100 or so years. The Israelites were enslaved in Egypt for 430 years. God had told Abram that his people would be enslaved there for 4 generations. Here is the reference. Genesis 15:12 -16 As the sun was setting, Abram fell into a deep sleep, and a thick and dreadful darkness came over him. 13 Then the Lord said to him, “Know for certain that for four hundred years your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own and that they will be enslaved and mistreated there. 14 But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves, and afterward they will come out with great possessions. 15 You, however, will go to your ancestors in peace and be buried at a good old age. 16 In the fourth generation your descendants will come back here, for the sin of the Amorites has not yet reached its full measure.”🙏🏾

Hell is the grave and the lake of fire are two different things; which means Everyone who dies goes to hell since hell is the grave and where ever a person is buried that is where hell is for them since hell is the grave. and not everyone will be saved. And those who are not saved are thrown into the lake of fire as part of their final sentencing for sin. For example if I am lost and if 5 seconds was the penalty for all of my unforgiven sins then after 5 seconds in the lake of fire, my body and my soul would die in the lake of fire and my body and soul would cease to exist and I would be no more after 5 seconds in the lake of fire. Things thrown into the lake of fire after the 1000 years is over. is different then hell as hell which is the grave is thrown into the lake of fire after the 1000 years. And again Everyone who dies goes to hell since hell is the grave and wherever a person is buried that is where hell is for them since hell is the grave; and the lake of fire in the end is where the following things are cast into or are thrown into in order to eradicate all sin. Those thrown into the lake of fire which is The 2nd death is both a physical body death and a spiritual death as the soul will perish as well this time. It is written: The soul that sinners shall sure surely die which means their soul and body both will die and cease to exist and be no more once they have paid the penance for their unforgiven sins. And everyone amount of time in the lake of fire is different and everyone is alive who is thrown into the lake of fire at that time if they are thrown into the lake of fire because they were lost and not saved. Again: For example: say I am lost and the penalty for all of my unforgiven sins is 5 seconds in the lake of fire then after being alive and thrown into the lake of fire for 5 second I will cease to exist and be no more. Both my body and my soul would cease to exist. Things thrown into the lake of fire which is The 2nd death Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.” Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. Things thrown into the lake of fire which is the 2nd death. Things that are thrown into the lake of fire after the 1000 years is over. which is the 2nd death. Rev 20:14,15 Then death and Hades (which is hell or the grave since hades in another word for hell) were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. Rev 21:8 The cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--they are thrown into the lake of fire. Rev 19:20 the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image (Sunday keeping will become the mark of the beast when the people are forced to worship on Sunday). The two of them (meaning the first beast who is the Papacy whose leader is the Pope and the false prophet) were thrown alive into the lake of fire. The purpose of the lake of fire found in the book of Revelation. Both consumes the wicked and purifies the earth. Death is cast into the lake of fire. Meaning death itself and the wicked are cast into the lake of fire. Since the righteous will no longer die. And Hell is cast into the lake of fire which was the grave since the saved will no longer see death because they can eat from the tree of life forever. Therefore hell being the grave is not the same place as the lake of fire. And Satan and His angels are cast into the lake of fire So all sin and all traces of sin are eradicated. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And at death the body decays and returns to the dust of the earth and the spirit returns to God who gave it and the dead, the dead know not anything. At death: Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Ecc 9:5 For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even their name is forgotten. Things thrown into the lake of fire Everyone who dies go to hell since hell is the grave and wherever a person is buried that is where hell is for them since hell is the grave; and the lake of fire in the end is where the following things are cast into in order to eradicate all sin. And Hell is cast into the lake of fire. Therefore hell being the grave is not the same place as the lake of fire. And Satan and His angels are cast into the lake of fire So all sin and all traces of sin are eradicated.

I do appreciate your teaching so much. I learned most of the bible through your teachings. However, what I don't understand is this; you have your own commentary, that means you read through the whole bible and you know it inside out. I am sure you know and believe that the bible was inspired by God but the ten commandments were written by his finger and cut out by his hand and He gave the command for them to be saved in the Arc of the Covenant and yet you don't think you need to recognize and observe the Sabbath? God does not change and his word never goes back to him empty. Even Jesus himself rose on the first day so he will keep God's Sabbath holly. the first church observed the Sabbath until around the year 528 when constantine first adopted the sunday in honor of the Sun god and then after that the pope adopted it. in the dark ages millions of Sabbath keepers throughout history were killed but that doesn't phase you to think of honoring God's commandment vr man's commandments? please explain what does Revelation 14:12 means? IT IS A VERY SERIOUS ISSUE to keep God's commandments especially the fourth one. Remember (the only commandment that has the command to remember) the Sabbath day to keep it holy. six days you shall not labor and do all your work and the seventh day is a Sabbath to YHWH, your God. you shall not do any work: you,or your son, or your daughter, or your man servant, or your maid servant, or your cattle, nor any stranger that is within your gates

Revelation 13:11-13 KJV And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. [12] And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. [13] And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, This generation shall not pass. Vast majority of Churches Rev 14:8 are fallen; preaching Papal falsehood Rev 17:1,2, the immorality of the soul, Dispensationalism secret rapture, Sunday sacredness. Therefore when Satan appear with his demons as dead loved ones from heaven to set up presumed millenium Matt 24:26, 2 Cor 11:13-15, vast majority will be decieved by these sign, miracles and lying wonders! Rev 16:13, the Papacy the beast, Apostate Protestantism False prophets and worldlings!

Paul warned against trying to use persuasive words. Your cleverness is not enough. If you are not trusting the Holy Spirit to do the work (God gives the increase), you are wasting everyone's time.

Are a man and his brother born of the same parents part of the same generation? Let's say a boy was born somewhere in the world at 11:59PM on May 14th, 1948. Let's say that kid's parents were very young, in their teens. Let's say that this kid has a younger brother born in 1968. The kids are 20 years apart. This is rare but very possible. Wouldn't you say the two are of the same generation? Sure you would. Okay then. How old is the younger sibling today? He's 56. If he lives to be 100, which is quite possible, it will be 2068. Ipso facto we've still got 44 years to go. Now look around you. How fast are things changing. No, we don't have George Jetsons headed to work in their flying cars which fold up into briefcases. But we have changes that are even more profound. What do AI and genomics and nano technologies portent for the immediate future, the next decades? Do the things we read in Revelations seem as fantastic today as they did 50 years ago? In your wildest dreams did you, 50 years ago, imagine that Islam would penetrate Western Europe as it has? We make fun of that little death goblin Greta Thunbern, "How dare you!", but what if the doomsayers are right? I don't think even they really believe it, but what if predictions of an eminent climate catastrophe right? We have 44 years for it to incubate. How might mass starvation in the age nuclear proliferation precipitate cataclysm? We are hearing nuclear sabre rattling by the Russian Federation right now! I contend, given the rapidly changing world we live in, that 44 years is a very long time indeed.

Dear pastor. Please try to analyze the scriptures systematically using hermeneutical methods. When we use statements from synoptic gospels Matthew, Mark and Luke, we must look into statements from all three gospels to identify whether they are analogies or allegories. Luke gives the full picture of what took place on the mountain olive where historically Isrelites cultivate olive and fig trees. Luke states fig and all the trees whereas Matthew and Mark state only fig tree. Based on historical settings, what Luke stated is appropriate to identify as an analogy of fig and all trees not an allegory about the Israel so here the fig tree doesn’t represent the Israel
