I think the diamond select did the best job in capturing the look of the homecoming spiderman adding the fact that the shoulders are not so broaden a bit in the feminine side which makes sense cause peter is just 15 or 16 in civil war and homecoming, really captures the look of a teen.

Great video. I have one of these action figures. Well, an offbrand one. It's the one with the backpack. I love how you showed all the detail and their alternative things like their hands. Also, you have gained a new subscriber! Can't wait to look through and look at your other videos.

Totally was hoping someone was gonna do a video of all these homecoming Spidey’s!! So glad u did this! I’m in the same boat with u about the Mafex and Mezco 10000%!! I can’t stop playing with the Mafex version and he’s DEF in my top 10 figs in my collection as well (to a point where I bought a second one to have for when the one I’m playing with gets too loose! Lol!). For me, personally, I think my Figuarts would’ve been third amongst these 5, I really enjoy him and the quality (albeit the waist snapping off...that happened to mine as well, but got him replaced and have not had any problems since!) and feel to him is so good (Figuarts always feels so good in hand!). Mezco feels really good in hand and his articulation is smooth as butter but same as u, I’m afraid that pleather material will crack or just shred too. Anyway, awesome channel and awesome reviews, keep it up homie! ✊🏽✌🏽👍🏽💯💯

Nice! Definitely on the same page! I need to get a second Mafex Spidey myself but I might just wait for the 1.5 version. I use to love the Figuarts one but once I got the Mafex one, the sh was totally ignored. Yeah the Mezco feels good and moves nice but I just don't trust that material. Oh! I had seen that Spidey Ah Figuarts broke up from this part, Damn! I hope you have been able to fix it. I agree with the Mezco and Mafex versions, the firts with stetic and the second with the articulation.

Trying to get into 6 inch figure collecting, that first spider-man breaking on camera had me gasping

I got the SHF when it first released, and and I think it's really great. I didn't bother getting the Mafex since I liked it so much, but I did per-order the Mafex 1.5 version. I don't have that weird floating belt on the SHF, at least no where near as bad as you seem to have it, and it's kept pretty sturdy for me since I got it almost 2 years ago. Plus I really like that you can interchange the eyes to get more expression out of the figure, something that no other company offers.

Mafex for me, with the Marvel Legend one being a very close second. Mafex always kills it on their Spider-Man figures. I also consider the unmasked head to be an absolute must have. The Mafex unmasked head looks better. The Marvel Legend one is good also, just way too big for the figure and really the line in general (also wish I hadn't had to buy the figure twice just to get it). Still love it though. I'm not a fan of the Mezco figures at all. I don't like the cloth goods. It hinders the articulation, and I'm always afraid it's going to come apart. The S.H. Figuarts one is decent, and IMO fits in better with the Marvel Legends than the actual Marvel Legends one (Tom Holland is really short!), but they are so prone to breakage that I tend to avoid getting them in general. Good list.

You were totally right! The Mezco fabric cracks and fades and falls apart eventually, So sad, it was my favorite one.

I think select can become something original, combining high quality sculpt, articulation and low prices. And dude, Select's boxes are collectors friendly. Cuz of the clip from the left. Just gently cut blister from up, down and left sides and boom, you'll get functional box that can be closed.

ActionMan27 his whole legs are not the greatest, but sculptors that working in DS obviously very talented. When I look on this figure, I see a young man with correct muscle proportions. I don't have that feeling holding any import figures. They looks like kids in Halloween suits.

I watched the video when it first came out and had to come back, because your video helped me pick out my favorite Spider-Man figures, I couldn’t find the Mafex one anywhere, but I did find the Mezco one for a pretty decent price, and I love that figure, I’ve been messing around with it a lot and haven’t seen any damaged at all, although the web wing accessory always give me anxiety when I put it on. In your opinion where is the best place on the figure to clip it on? I would hate to damage the red paint on the waist 😬 thanks!

Nice review. I like the Mezco Spider-Man too, you can put Spidey into a lot of poses and he won’t break on you like yours did (sorry). I have the Marvel Legends Spider-Man/Iron Man 2 pack, they are great figures and are holding up well. I look forward to the new batch of Spidey figures from Far From Home.

Seto Kaiba I don’t know about always, but their newer Spider-Man figures are very good. This homecoming one, the comic Spider-Man is great, and based on promo images we can assume the miles morales and infinity war iron spider figures will be good. And the mafex iron spider already seems to have topped the figurats and it’s not even out yet. Mafex homecoming and infinity war have similar articulation/body structure. Figuarts also has similar body structure between the two movies and as we’ve seen from this video the mafex body is better. Plus the mafex infinity war figure got the colors of the suit right.

Mezco is basically 6inch scale hot toys

I have the Mafex version , and this figure is like a rubik's cube . So many poses to put him in

Mezco easily looks the best. Especially a real clothes for a 6"

The muscle mass of the legends is to accent his movements for a figure like that

My personal favourite is the Select one. He looks the most satisfying and has some great articulation. Just wish he came with a backpack. Would’ve been nice.

Mafex is definitely my favorite out of all of them,still my favorite spidey figure to this day

I"ve been caught between getting either the Shf Figure or the Mafex for quite sometime....and even though alot of reviewers chose the mafex over the shf...for some reason i still like the body shape of the shf over mafex....the mafex torso looks too blocky for me....but after watching you break that shf like it was nothing.......I'm 1000 percent getting the Mafex. Awesome review bro! All the best!

Thanks for your good comprehensive & informative review ! Sad to see you break your SHF ... did you end up fixing the joint ? I find it best NOT to force my figures into extreme poses & I also try and assess the engineering of a figure BEFORE pushing the joints to their limits. It makes me whince in others videos seeing their rough handling of a figure on camera & anticipate a breakge ! That said - I've had some expensive figures break on me without any undue pressure or even broken joints right out of the box ! Marvel Legends are THE sturdiest of the lot but sometimes lack the paint / sculpt, though still the best bang for buck. I waited and only bought the MAFEX Homecoming Spiderman, even though a big SHF collector, but the Mafex was far better, as per your review. I ALWAYS wish Marvel Select were in a 6 inch scale, even if that mean they compete head on with ML.

Yeah. Personally, It annoys me because it looks like he’s surprised or scared and he doesn’t have a normal head either. He only has that one with the squinting eyes which looks like he’s angry.

I bought Mafex. It has the best scale. Thanks for the camparo. Especially helpful for those of us who don't want to collect them all.

I had the one with the backpack, couldn't move it though, like, if you touched it, it would fall apart, so I just put it in a position and used it just for display purposes and never touched it. About half a year later I bought the same figure again, and it had the same flaws, it legit would fall apart it you touch it, so I sent it back, and got another one, but it had the same problems again, that's where I just gave up on the figure. And just so you know, I didn't buy them from any other person, they were brand new, still on packaging and everything
