@@gillianlandry283 obviously not, I definitely do not approve of this type of behavior however, you must understand that Voight deals with people who do far worse things to INNOCENT people. Do you think anyone would listen to Voight if he was kind and lenient? Do you think half the people who are in prison rn would be there if it weren't for him? Chicago would be worse than it already is. I mean, it's wrong what he's doing but it's definitely working. Just think about all those people he's saved because of his actions. You can hate on him all you want but you have to appreciate the progress he's made. He wouldn't be a good police officer if he wasn't the way he is rn.

There's a moral value I took in as "Do no harm." The exception, is when we do some harm for the right reason. Think of as a guy suddenly pulling a gun on some bystander with his trigger on the finger and I'm an officer on the scene with my bodycam recording the whole thing. That gave me a reason to shoot. Sure there are more cruel ways like putting someone on a hot stove yes, but many of us in real life don't enjoy bloodshed, but like I said, sometimes it had to be done for the right reason. Even to defend another innocent life or maybe even your relatives when it comes down to it.

I'm sorry Jin took place so little all time and after his death, the staff don't show they have cared anyway...Who knows what goes on writer's mind? But I was kind of sad about it. Mainly after the sequence that Jin's mom tells Voight how he felt about working there.
