Pastor Begg I must tell you that your preaching style brings the Bible to life, which always teaches me a deeper understanding of God’s Word. By the way I listen to one of your sermons everyday if at all possible. The more I learn brings me closer to my Lord and brings me joy and peace and even conviction from The Holy Spirit. Hi James, Your interpretation of v1 might be what many of us think as we first read v1. But then John shocks us with v2: The 'Word' is a person (you forgot V1 was connected to v2). You'll need an awakening through the Spirit so that the Word is primary and not the authority of some human spin. I'm praying for you in the name of Jesus.

So...where was Moses in the beginning if the Laws of Moses are, in fact, The Word....your logic is inherently devoid of any actual logic.
