Denis was strong but he didn't have a hit. he held with bicep and had good endurance with his bicep. his arm opened up quite easy though. Every match I see him open up

Indeed, so there were a lot of bias cuz of either emotional bias or where they are from. I mean even tho some of them werent on their prime but we have a recent devon who have won against john ermes denis. its not like I am a fanboy of devon he has quarks and he is good for the sport and so on.. but its not like anyone in that list have any change again levan not 50/50 with levan thats where the biggest bias shows.

No, he lost to Pushkar 3:0 in 2014 tournament and he lost 2 rounds to Michael Todd in 2016 and won by pushing Todd's elbow off the pad and getting him fouls. He wasn't dominant in right arm

Hello Engin, I purchased EVW 13 (first time buying the PPV) this past weekend. Is it possible for the future to either raise the price a bit and provide 1080p stream? I have 1440p monitor that i watched this on, and it looked really low detail, maybe 720p on a good day maybe less. Secondarily, lower the sensitivity of the microphones, i could hear Devon's every breath and every time he touched the microphone like thuds. Other than thoese 2 details, all is good, nice event :)

Because Denis competed much more in tournaments than armfights. And he had at least 2-3 of them. In this case you have more risks to lose than someone who had max 2 armfights in a year which can make perfect cycle. Unfortunately no one can understand this

They are clearly not objective and this can be seen from the fact that they all give very different answers. The truth is that Levan is in a class by himself, no one is close. Dennis and Pushkar were about the same level that John impressively could reach even though he was quite lighter. Ermes and Alexey were very strong but almost with only one good move. For me Devon at his best can only lose to Levan. So only Krasimir said it well...

Prime Denis would have slightly stronger backpressure and side pressure but Devon would have everything else, better hand, better endurance, better press, better hook and ofcourse way better and more efficient technique. You can see the hard matches Denis had at his best, Ermes and Vitaly would destroy anyone of them. So Devon, yes, he is a level above... Also people think that today Denis is way worse than his best shape ever, which is not true at all, he is pretty close to his 100% in every aspect now, he just doesn't have the side pressure he had, that's it...

In this level the weight is 50% of the fight. 2023 armfight Devln weighted 120 kg while Denis in his prime weighted 144 kg, with a much more brack pressure, strongest bicep in history and probably the best hook ever. @@josemujica3173 i'm not a devon fan by any means, i like Levan a lot more, but saying that weight is 50% of the fight is just not true, if it was by that then corey west and cleve dean would be the best armwrestlers ever but they are not even close, and regarding denis's hook it wasn't that good, because he almost never got into it because his wrist flection is weak, that's why he always used the kingsmove instead. Devon is the smartes guy in armwrestling, and has techniques for every situation and he is really good at preventing guys with a lot of backpressure to fully acces to it, their 2018 match doesn't tell us anything because devon is not that technical with his left and was coming out of a surgery, and now devon had gained a lot of weight since that.

This is the unfortunate truth

I personally think devon will beat all of them except levan. That’s it , maybe some europians are jealous of devon’s success and popularity, that might be the case. But i think prime devon is scary , people always underestimate how strong devon is. The only guy that devon can’t beat is levan and nobody can touch levan in this list. People always like to glorify the past even if some of the currents are better. That’s a human habit for sure.

Devon wins by his technique and experience than stength. Prime John brezenk supercedes Devon in all three. And Puskars raw strength and side pressure will completely negate Devons kings move. Its okay to have opinions but theres a reason why no one in the video chose devon over either john or pushkar. You may find Devon scary but to me theres nothing scary about a manchild that complains untill he gets a favourable position regardless of if he wins or loses. And these are not just some people glorifying the past, literally most of them have been competing for more than 2 decades at the highest level😭

Denis strength was slightly less comparable to Levan that translate on the table but has tremendous musle endurance.I can't believe Levan put him straight to the pad consecutive 4 times in 6 round super match.First 2 round goes to Levan,no doubt about that

John simply never reached the level that Devon has. John is the first to tell this himself. And right, before Devon killed Ermes it was all "Ermes is the Levan killer" and "untouchable number two" & after Devon defeated him, it all changed to "well Ermes was not that good & now he's a lot better". We've seen the numbers Ermes posts... his pronation is still nowhere near Devon's. He still couldn't take Devon's wrist today, which he needs to to beat him. Prime alexy prime devon prime denis are underrated

Why do they understimate Devon and Ermes so much? Legends of the past are always overrated, different era, now athletes are way more technical and smart at the table and the training improved a lot. Devon destroyed Pushkar on left and Devon was not in his prime and neither it was his stronger arm. Prime Devon would totally destroy Pushkar, Voevoda, John Brzenk. He toyed with Ermes. For me Levan is undeniably the n. 1 and the second spot is contended between Devon and Prime Denis on right arm. On left Denis is probably n. 1.

😂 Pushkar's Left arm was never his better arm its his right hand that had unusual hit, his left was just stronger than others

@@AarwinSuresh same for Devon, but still Devon won 6-0. It would've not been different on the right arm and Devon, until a few months ago, was stronger than his past self. New eras are always better than old eras, unless the sport reaches its full development. Armwrestling in 2024 in my opinion is not fully developed, new eras could be better. Maybe the next era will peak the training, technique and the genetic pool and we will not have a clear difference between different eras anymore

Prime Denis all day

My personal Opinion is there are only 3 guys if they all at their prime who could beat John Brzenk and even then it won't be easy. That's Pushkar, Denis and Levan.

the guys of today would beat the guys of yesteryear, the sport has grown , guys using more gear than ever before. Ermes would beat pushkar 10/10 times, prime john would have no chance with guys like levan , ermes, vitali , morozov , kurdecha etc. Look at it this way , how many full time arm wrestlers existed in 2010?? maybe 2-3 .. Now theres at least 25 guys dedicated full time , some with state sponsors.

From what I know if i had to guess level wise: Levan is the unquestionable king and next up overall strength wise to him is Denis. Then we can talk about a tier of Denis, Devon, Pushkar, and I'll say Ermes too but this can be matchup dependent. Denis is overall the most well rounded of the four but Devon's hand and not making a mistake could still be a problem for 2015ish Denis, just depends on how much of Devons wrist and how much riser he has when he stops the match on his arm. Ermes vs Denis I could see either way but I would lean slightly to Denis because I think Ermes wrist goes too and I dont think he will flop Denis successfully but maybe. We could see an Ermes in the next couple years that I could see as the favorite. Pushkar I could see giving problems to Devon with the speed and explosiveness off center and finishing without his hand but not a garaunteed win. I feel bad saying this but I really feel like Pushkar gets overrated because of his early death, almost feels like the legend of Voevoda at his best but more recently. Everything I've seen shows that Denis was just a bit too much for Pushkar back when they were both at their best, and I see Ermes as a likely big problem for him too because he has serious fucking brakes arm strength similar to Denis and enough hand to be partial control in my opinion. John and Voevoda I'd put a tier below them. I just don't view them on the same power tier even though they're somwhere in the next up conversation immediately after those other guys. I'd lean John a bit over Voevoda though. People love John so they'll say he's higher than this but the level now is just stupid in comparison to then, we have real 300+ lb armwrestling strength guys. Styles depend here too but Genadi, Morozov, Vitaly, etc are I would say between this tier and the one above this tier in a tier/pack. Prudnik is another mention for around the John Voevoda area. Also 2016 WAL Travis is in the same conversation with Denis, Pushkar, Devon, Ermes. And an off topic note from what Devon said about pulling Pushkar in florida before he died (said Pushkar wouldve probabky won right and Devon left) tells me Denis would've almost certainly smacked Devon right back when they pulled left. Best on best could be a different story though obviously

Saying Prime Denis had a shot at the freak that beat Ermes is at least plausible but prime Devon would but on a show with against any version of John or Pushkar. He even beat both of them on there better arm when they were closer to there prime than he was 🙃
