I’m not too sure - it would take away too much of the character’s mystery surrounding their identity, which has pretty much been an integral part of the franchise since its creation. If they were to do that, it would have to be in the very last instalment EVER of the franchise, and there has been no indication from the owners and creators that the franchise is coming to an end.

Well it was included for a reason, there have been leaks that…. (Dont read unless you want to) Ncuti will regenerate into the Valyard towards the end of his run, and learn about it from other Doctor’s in his first season. I’m guessing this is where the Memoried Tardis comes from. 🤷‍♂️ And will happen in 73 Yards.

When I was recently rewatching and noticed Peter was in the Pompeii episode I got so excited.

Got introduced to the Dr. Who by some new friends in 2014, and binge watched everything after finally sitting down and watching the first season. Love this show and all its twists and turns it takes.

Really nicely done - engaging, intriguing and well edited. Bring on the new Doctor’s adventures and so many Doctors to come!

Been watching since 1984, so 40 years. However, I'm excited at the prospect of attracting new fans to the show. Everyone should experience at least some Doctor Who, it's an experience unlike any other.

As a lifelong Dr Who fan from 1963, I like the look of the latest Dr Who.

You forgot to mention Classic Who episode "The Brain of Morbius" with the Fourth Doctor finding out he had more incarnations pre-Hartnell (First Doctor).

Unlike everyone else, I didn't have a problem at all with Jodie Whittaker being casted as the 13th Doctor, nor do I have a problem with Ncuti Gatwa being the 15th Doctor. The whole Timeless Child arc with the Fugitive Doctor still confuses me, but maybe if I just look into it a bit more, I'll someday figure it out. And I know John Hurt's Doctor was the War Doctor, and not actually a numbered incarnation of the Doctor. The next numbered Incarnation of the Doctor after Paul McGann's 8th Doctor is Christopher Eccelston's 9th Doctor.

I don't know who he is or if he really cares about Doctor Who but Tyrell Charles is a brilliant presenter and deserves a long and happy career doing just this! That was a pleasure to watch :)

@@themonado5030 just showing my excitement via a mixture of some catchphrases from past doctors ""it's gonna be a whopper" for instance), but also expressing my excitement at the relaunch. It's a fairly well paced video and there's a couple of things in here I wasn't expecting, so I've been left quite surprised and happy.

When it comes to other doctors that the doctor could run into there's also the unbound doctor (one of 7 have entired the main universe) and the morbius doctors and the two curators. There's also the curse of fatal death doctors and the shalka doctor. And there's the meta crisis doctor. There's also possibly the inferno universe doctor and the doctor from the reality that klein created after the 7th doctor and ace land in colditz.

I can't wait!!!!!

And parts like the older Tom baker from the 50th :) Some new doctor arrives and the last just rushes off to do there own thing, there are plenty of incarnations out there

Totally agree! I've no idea who he is but he is very good at delivering a presentation to camera that is family friendly. Hope to see more of him.

Interesting they're mentioning the Valeyard in this "for the normies" video. Maybe the one who waits is the Valeyard. The being even the Toymaker fears being an evil Doctor... that does make sense. And bi-regenration maybe is a backdoor origin for the character. Also, let's not forget Mel would also know the Valeyard. So it all lines up somewhat.

At this point I´m not sure I even need the name of the Doctor because maybe the first name they were given has also a special meaning but since then the Doctor changed so much that it may wouldn´t even fit them anymore. I discovered the show for me with the 11th Doctor and watched all the episodes before the 12th Doctor took so I only know the Doctor from this point onward and that is the picture I have from them and I like what I see. :)

Inevitably the Master, Monk, Rani, Rassilon, and/or Omega will come back, so "believes" probably isn't major foreshadowing. That being said, in Hell Bent the Doctor exiled Rassilon and the High Council. Unless the Master found and killed/converted them too, they should still be out there. I imagine they'll pull on that plot thread eventually, but they probably won't start the "new" series 1 with the return of Gallifrey's former top dogs. They could be final foes for Ncuti's last season, though! We'll have to wait and see.

Well the Doctor usually isn't the last even when they think they are like back during RTD's original era and in the Chibnall era there was the Master. I wouldn't be surprised if another Time Lord shows up!

Doctor Who has been such a big part of my life since I was first introduced to it by my mum back in 2005! From christopher eccleston's ninth doctor to ncuti gatwa's fifteenth doctor, from the daleks to the cybermen and the master, from rose tyler to ruby sunday, the show has become such an iconic part of so many people's lives! For me the tardis is just so magical and the music is just beautiful! The monsters and aliens, the sonic screwdriver, the psychic paper! I could list so many things that have become so iconic because of doctor who! I'm loving discovering the classic era of the show too! I'm so excited to see what's ahead for this absolutely fantastic show! ❤❤🔷😊

The doctor/timeless child is a time lord from gallifrey he's a billion years old and saved lives so many times and stopped bad guys like daleks/cyberman/sontarans so many enemies he himself has faced has stopped them to keep the universe/multiverse in safe hands

Love all the doctors. Also love the classics

The valeyard being mentioned makes me truly think that they may be appearing in this era (there's also a rumor going around that's proven to be pretty accurate that states that the valeyard is returning, but take with a HUGE grain of the saltiest of salts). I think we may also meet even more pre hartnell doctors! Hopefully we get the answers we didn't get with the chibster!

I truly don’t think I’ve ever been so excited in anticipation my whole life. After coming across so much racism and homophobia on Facebook coming here ive read some beautiful comments that have restored my faith in humanity. Ncuti is so charming and i think, like all previous regenerations, he will be magnificent.

Pretty sure anyone who is new, is now more confused than when they started watching. I've been here since the 80s and seen everything the BBC didn't chuck in the bin. Can't wait for New WHO!!

River Song can read Gallifreyan. She translated the Doctors name into English. His name is; Spoilers. Even though it was coded in the way she said it, River said the Doctors name at the end of the chair scene. She said; Hush, Spoilers. And what does the Doctor do? He spoils the plans of malevolent evil doers. 😂🤣😂

The Doctor doesn't have a name. It was Theta Sigma for a while until they retconned it later on. In the future they might reveal something, but another writer can just retconned later on (again), there for, no name, not really. But the very first one that we got was Theta Sigma.

They retconned it later on with the 7th Doctor to be the Academy nickname instead. My point is that some writer can reveal his name and someone else can undo that later on so they will never reveal it, because it doesn't exist.

@@mareiramv - in " that episode", we hear it used very familiarly by an old school-mate. Who also shortens it to "Thete". The assumption might well be, at that point, that it *is* his name. But not necessarily. And then, later, we hear that it was an Academy nickname. So there we are. Until the next time!

This video paired with RTD's recent statements puts me at ease with his take on the Timeless Child. I'm one of the many who despises it, but this breakdown combined with him saying they're playing more into the emotions of it... that the Doctor has that baggage of thinking he's an orphan, but "there's a chance" that TTC is true and could be a myth/legend and could be the Toymaker messing around... I can live with that. Ultimately, at least RTD is actually doing something with it.

Also, you could always headcanon it as the Doctor talking about being an actual orphan, like, I always found it weird that he used to live in the Drylands Boy’s home, when we know for a fact he’s got a mom a dad. So, tbh, even before the Timeless Child stuff, I already had a theory that the Doctor was an orphan adopted by a Prydonian family.

So are we going to get a doctor where he become an anti hero/ the valiun bc that would be a cool dark season!
