Same here! Also, while waiting I watched some of the Professor's vids on FaB and started to wonder if it is still a good time to give it a try and get into it. I am a casual commander player so joy from the game with other people sharing the hobby and being able to be creative with your deck or playstyle is what I value the most. Taking into consideration the mentioned videos on that topic, that is exactly what FaB is about.

Glad to see Team APS! Im a longtime ygo player and fan of you guys. I honestly think the way you have to have meta knowledge of decks is quite like yugioh(LSS also loves printing generic staples!). Id be pretty hype if you guys started making fab content! James White was involved in yugioh distribution or something like that a long time ago. The way LSS handles bans and the market is strikingly similar to konami.

Credit deserved to whoever did a fine job with the chain animation, representing the combat chain between players. The amount of what is produced without being over the top makes this polished video series so entertaining.

I've never played flesh and blood but I'm kind of amazed that it can go on this long without ever feeling stagnant, definitely buying some when I next head into the city.

Great video! Just a clarification for 11:30, the Mangle Crush effect doesn't put -1 Counters on equipment, it destorys an equipment that has a -1 counter on it.

The gameplay is compelling and thematic. I've played magic since the late 90's and have completely coverted to flesh and bood. It's a fantastic game.

The flesh and blood cards look so sick! Art is really on point

Yeah they really put some great effort into the art! One of the main reasons I switched over from Magic and also the cards show so much of the lore!

The professor introduced me to FAB and now we have it as a major component in our LGS

Finally some more FAB from the professor! You got me into FAB at a point where I was thinking of getting back into MTG (thanks btw, the game and community is amazing). Over time I found DMarmada and RzR (both are awesome this is basically a perfect cast), but there was a lack of FAB content from the Prof. I hope to see more SUP UPF and more FAB in general in the future.

This was absolutely amazing! I love Flesh and Blood, but have been hesitant about getting into UPF because it felt like it would be very easy to end up with one person not being able to play, since you have multiple in coming attacks - but from this game, it seems like it self balances quite nicely! Super fun video, super fun games!! Love seeing all of the decks perform!!! Also, I think Prof got the moral victory here, because there is NOTHING more Dash than boosting out and burning out.

Poor Daylon with guessing Pulverize lol that was a fun moment.

Perfect timing :) Listened to a podcast episode of Shut Up Sit Down where they raved about the game and now I'm about to head to my LGS after work to pick up a display of blitz decks! Huge thanks to this channel for highlighting this game as well, helped me make a final decision :)

Funny thing with Coax a Commotion, you don't need to choose a mode 😂 Also, Prof please set up a UPF game with as many players as possible! We want to see the biggest brawl that has ever been brawled!

After seeing the video, I really want to try this format (as well as FAB in general). Was also amused by how the Prof kept saying Skullclamp instead of Skullcap for the armour card.

I was hesitating about starting FaB very recently (not sure if this tcg was worth it) but a video of the Prof playing this game definitely convinced me to start ! Hope this card game wil grow in popularity!! Thanx prof for a quality video again

FaB shows no signs of stopping soon. The company that makes the game is almost doubling their staff this year and adding a social play focused team.

@sharkpyro93 It's a shame the game has lost players in your area, but I'd argue that the game isn't exceptionally expensive. I mean, if you want to play top-tier competitive decks it becomes expensive. Even so, a tuned up FaB deck still has nothing compared to a top-tier MTG Modern deck. Also, if you don't plan on traveling to pro-tour events and taking FaB super seriously, you don't need the expensive equipment cards. I hope you hold onto your cards and come back to the game eventually.

@@TheTacticalBat the very few people that i saw playing introduced me to the game, they play the assolute best tier1 decks in a given period, at the moment every deck is crazy expensive the only viable money wise is the ninja and is still 300 euros, i mean yeah you can play with some replacements but its definitely not the same

So glad to see Flesh and Blood featured on Shuffle Up & Play!!! Shame that the Professor chose Dash since she is pretty weak in UPF with her boosting her deck away, he didn't really get to do much!! Also, Kel! Mangle doesn't put a -1 counter on equipment, it destroys equipment with a minus -1 counter ;) Would love to see more of this with more UPF friendly decks!!

Mangle doesn't put a -1 counter on equipment, it blows up an equipment with a -1 counter on it. Buckling Blow is the one that puts the counter on equipment

4:50 I was already confuse right at the beginning of the match, and I guess the editor was too... The editing would suggest that Ouvia gain "go again" because of the Dromai trigger, but Ouvia is not attacking so it does not gain "go again" that way. So, it took a bit of digging, but I've finally understood it. DMArmada, actually played "Invoke Ouvia" (which is on the other side of "Ouvia"), that's where it says that he can transform the ash token into Ouvia and where it gain "go again". But because he played it directly on the "Ouvia" face, we simply didn't see that. I guess familiar players play invocations like that, but I wish DMArmada would have realize that a lot of viewer of this channel are not all that familiar with Fab, and so it would have been beneficial to see all the step of that action even though it would have slow the game down a bit. Well, this was interesting. My first time watching FAB and it seems like a lot of fun! Can kinda pick up the basics but I think it may be worth some more research :)

So far, watching this feels like hearing Dutch as a German speaker, where I can get some of it contextually and some of the words are similar but a bit off from what I expect. Excited for the FaB content!

10:27 Reading the card... does not explain the card? Doesn't Mangle read "destroy target equipment they control with a -1 counter on it"? It doesn't put counters on something, it checks if one is already there. But man, this game looks cool! Amazing to see you feature other card games as well, thank you, Prof! I love it.

39:00 When I did play, I had a Kavdaen deck that was less for winning and more meme'ing. Anyway, it ran 2 of each color for "Pick a Card, Any Card" in Blitz format. My luck with that card was so legendarily bad. I had a game where the opponent had 3 of a kind in hand plus 1 other and naming the card I had a 75% chance of hitting, hit the one of every time, across 2 Red's, a Yellow and a Blue. That's 13 wrong guesses with a 25% chance of being wrong. Or a 0.000000015% chance of happening. That opponent tried to forfeited to me out of pity, but I convinced them not to. I got last and won the roll for the playmat. Actually won all my playmats through rolsl after coming in last place. XD Wasn't my type of game, and while I myself don't like playing it, it is fun to watch. Anyway, Daylon only did the effect 3 times total instead of 4 from the Red "Pick a Card, Any Card". It's do the effect then repeat thrice. Which is 1 + 3, or 4 times total.
