I can actually agree with the point of Sasha having most of the blame. Her years of manipulation has affected both of her friends and while they all have flaws within themselves, Sasha's was the most influential and dangerous.

It's all the thrift store's fault. That one customer didn't notice Anne stealing the music box, and the lady at the desk was too asleep to even see anything.

Actually there is a reason as to why Sasha made Anne still the box; she wanted a good present for Anne’s birthday.

In my opinion, by analizing everything, EVERY GIRL has the fault of sending them to Amphibia. Marcy had the idea of stealing the box, Sasha obligated Anne to meet with Marcy and steal the box and Anne accepted to steal it (kinda forced but she accepted), also EVERY GIRL accessed to open the box, too. So yeah, every girl has the fault. PD: Correct me if I'm wrong in something

Honestly, I think, if Andrias actually took the responsibility of guarding the box seriously and hadn’t let Leif and Barrel into the room, I think none of it would have happened.

I think anne have a big fault because she defeat sasha at newtopia and close the city doors because of this andrias able to activate his plan if sasha would won against anne core and andrias gonna be defeated

I think the most responsible is the box/gaurdian itself . See it gave Leif a vision causing her to send the box to earth later on Marcy finds it however Sasha is the one who forces Anne to meet up and steal it .

I would probably put the most overall blame on Lief. Her decision to steal the box was a classic self fulfilling prophecy which ensured her vision came true. Not to mention everything else that sprang from it. Andrias’ fall, the social divide of Amphibia, and putting the box on earth

I hope Sasha’s backstory of why she is the way she is in the Marcy Journal when it comes out

Me too.. Not telling Sasha's side of the story was a disservice to an amazing character.

Weird take, but the person that really takes the blame is Marcy’s dad. Marcy’s dad getting a new job was the whole reason that Marcy wanted to travel to a new world in the first place, and if her dad refused, then everything would have never happened.

I agree. It was not his fault for moving, I think moving for a new job is absolutely fine. However, I think that he should’ve talked with Marcy and Marcy’s mom before. I know he told her they were moving, but that was AFTER he accepted. He should’ve checked if it was ok with Marcy. also the timing is one of the reasons why I blame him too, he should’ve picked a different day, DEFINITELY NOT Anne’s birthday! If Marcy left then she would feel bad for Anne since she left her on her birthday, and it would make her wanna leave LESS. And I know he might’ve not knew, but since Anne and Marcy were so close Marcy MUSTVE brought it up atleast once.

Between the girls, yes I think Sasha is more guilty than the rest (which doesn't mean Marcy and Anne are innocent) but I think the mayor guilty of the entire story is andrias ancestors/the core, as it's due to their irresponsible use of the box the latter ended on earth in the first place

I don't see how Sasha was the most culpable of the three when she didn't know what the box was, didn't remotely have an intention of harming Anne or Marcy, and wasn't the one who literally manipulated her friends into doing something they didn't understand. Marcy is OJECTIVELY the most guilty out of the three of them, and there's no wiggle room on that. Regardless of how she was feeling, it doesn't change the fact that SHE orchestrated the entire situation and knew exactly what she was doing. Meanwhile the most you can say about Sasha was that she was pushy with Anne (who herself, didn't have to listen to Sasha anyway).

@@DLxxx Marcy did not understand what she was getting into either. Saying she "orchestrated" a plan when she was mentally unstable and scared. It was irrational, reckless and immediate reaction af an afraid child who didn't understand what her actions were. And not like she meant any harm either. Sasha directly manipulated Anne, didn't give Marcy any attention and fuelled the toxic parts of the friendship more than anybody else.

@@agustinberto6138 She didn't know what she was getting into?? She was _explicitly_ hoping to kidnap her friends and get them sent to another world. Emotional or not, those were her intentions. And unlike Sasha (misguided as as her understanding was), they weren't in her friends best interest. Sure she had doubts it would work (because she's not stupid), but she still knew the risks and had multiple opportunities to stop it. I'm not saying Sasha didn't have her part to play in them getting sent to Amphibia, but in terms of the *actual event itself,* Marcy was the only one who even knew what was happening. She was the only one who even HAD a choice. From Sasha's POV, all she was doing was getting a random music box as a gift for her best friend. Marcy's neglect isn't even solely or mostly on Sasha either (Anne was just as guilty, and Marcy never communicated her feelings to either of them until "All In"). The worst Sasha did was keep Anne out late on her birthday, bit even then, Anne didn't have to listen to Sasha in the first place (it's not as if she was coerced, Sasha was just being pushy). To be clear, Sasha isn't innocent, but to call her "the most" guilty for something she had no control over or awareness of is just silly. This entire topic is inherently reductive _anyway,_ since the situation is more nuanced than "who's REALLY to blame?"

Actually Sasha is heavily implied to come from a separated family so her desire to be in control at all times likely comes from a feeling of having no control over her situation at all

Sasha sharing most of the blame makes the most sense with the explanation. Marcy dealing the second biggest and anne dealing the least out of the 3

Only Marcy was aware that it was able to travel dimensions and it's the only known item that can do so, which does make her responsible for them being sent to Amphibia. It's ultimately irrelevant to single one of the girls out, however. All three had issues with being selfish and irresponsible, and Amphibia taught them to recognise the consequences of that and thus grow as people.

Well to explain more on Sasha she had her parents divorced and might have felt jealous of Anne to have a close relationship with her parents and maybe her parents might have been so focused on the divorce agreement so Sasha might gain her manipulative behavior in the fear of loosing her friends imo

I think the blame mostly falls on Sasha. She’s the one who told Anne to skip school. She’s the one who forced her to meet up with Marcy

Yea it’s complicated. Marcy didn’t even know the box would work. Also, I doubt she thought that they would get separated and lost and have to go through this crazy adventure to get back together. She just wanted to explore a new world with her friends and she definitely didn’t think it would get that out of hand.

They were part of a prophecy, so I think they'd end up there regardless SOMEHOW, even if it wasn't their doing.

Marcy is not to take all the blame there’s a big differences between being a bad person and doing bad things. Yet she takes a unfair percentage of the blame do to some theories is the amphibia fandom.

Fascinating analysis, Marngel! I think all these theories could be answered in Marcy's Journal coming soon in winter.

I personally think they all share the responsibility equally. Anne knows stealing is wrong and still does it, even if she was pressured not stealing was the moral decision. Marcy on the other hand knows what the box is and what it can do. Sasha manipulates Anne into stealing the box, but keep in mind Marcy could’ve chosen any other object. The show acknowledged this with each character. Each of them have equal parts of the responsibility because if any of them had made a different decision the box wouldn’t have been stolen.

Something I thought about Sasha. From the trio, only her parents heve never been shown, not even in a flashback. I know it sounds strange, but I think that represents the fact, that she hasn't got any kind of relationship with her parents. I don't think she even mentions them during the show.

*For those who say it's Sasha's fault, let me say no* . I think even if Sasha hadn't said anything to Anne, Marcy would still take the music box. Although the real fault lies with the prophecy since this had to happen in 1000 years yes or yes.

Wrong, that's not the ONLY reason, Sasha had been manipulating them for years, that caused Marcy to think that way in the first place, so Sasha caused Marcy to have the desire to do that. BEFORE YOU SAY HER PARENTS, Marcy wouldn't have been so broken about moving if she felt her friends actually cared for her interests, which would be true without Sashas manipulative behavior, meaning she would be overall sad, but she would know that it's okay. Then again, this isn't proved canon but it is highly likely. And also, I'm not trying to change your opinion, if that's what you wanna believe, then you can. I think that, no matter whose fault it is, if it wasn’t for them, we would never have this awesome treat every Saturday (along with The Owl House). So, consider it as a necessary evil.

Not gonna lie, this take rubbed me the wrong way. I get where you're coming from (and you make some genuinely good points), but I don't think it makes sense to say Sasha was the most culpable for them getting trapped in Amphibia. Ignoring the fact that Marcy literally orchestrated the entire situation, her motivation wasn't related to Sasha's main flaws at all. No, what pushed Marcy to go behind her friends back and transport them to another world was because she didn't TRUST that she could open up with them about her problems. Both Anne and Sasha neglected her needs and her interest, so she simply didn't think they'd understand where she was coming from (and they obviously wouldn't have agreed to running away just to stay together). It had _nothing_ to do with Sasha's control issues. THAT was mainly a problem she had with Anne specifically, and it was such a big issue in that case because Anne lacked self-esteem. Marcy on the other hand, always knew she was the smartest girl in the room (the First Temple was all about her learning humility), and moreover, she never clashed with Sasha or showed any resentment toward her at ANY point in the entire show. It was never remotely implied that Sasha put Marcy down to get her to do what she wanted. If anything, it's the opposite. We see in Battle of The Bands that Marcy is quick to go along with whatever Sasha suggest without much question, and because of this, we can infer that Sasha never really NEEDED to manipulate Marcy, or she simply couldn't do so the same way she did with Anne. During the Dinner, The Third Temple, and even True Colors, Marcy clearly doesn't have the same issues or baggage with Sasha that Anne does. Anne is the one who tells Sasha she's "pushed her around her whole life." ANNE is the one that Sasha said she wanted to become better for during "Turning Point." ANNE is the only one she apologized to. The obvious take away here is that Sasha never pushed Marcy around to the same extent she had with Anne because Marcy didn't mind and moreover, didn't want to do anything that would push her friends away. *Edit:* I will say though, I agree with you about how us never getting any explanation for Sasha's issues is a main flaw in the show's storytelling. Matt went on record saying that he didn't think it was necessary for Sasha's arc, but I'm sorry Matt, that's just not true. Having context for a character's flaws and issues is PARAMOUNT in being able to root for them in a story like this. It was a disservice to Sasha for her side of the story to never be shown.

i feel like the calamity trio going to amphibia was always meant to be due to the propechy. i don’t think it’s anyone’s “fault” they got sent there. it’s very interesting to see how such small decisions made by different characters led to the girls getting sent there!

the mental hoops someone has to jump through to make a case that sasha is the most culpable contrasts to the direct line drawn by concluding that marcy carries the most blame. the question is: who is most to blame for sending the calamity trio to amphibia. not theft of the box, but specifically travel to amphibia. of which, only marcy theorized would happen when the box was opened, and admits was her intent. that is direct evidence that can be verbally summarized in seconds. see 1:37 to 1:45. whether the nature of someones actions are relatable or not, doesn’t excuse clear culpability and intent. nor does it create culpability in the case of sasha’s flaws not being explainable by your observation. the hypothesis of this video passes the (at best) circumstantial evidence of characters mental states, thought patterns, and personal history as more substantial than an admittance of intent by marcy, the reasoning of which is stated to be preventing the trio from separating. marcy didn’t tell them what the box could do, on purpose.

I must admit that as a Sasha fan, this video does make some sense in stating that Sasha is the most responsible for the calamity trio being sent to Amphibia. Anne and Marcy were friends before meeting and befriending Sasha, Sasha's manipulative nature did influence Anne to take the calamity box in the first place, Sasha's dynamic among the trio does play a role in Marcy feeling left out among the trio, and the reasoning behind Sasha's manipulative nature is implied but not confirmed among the show which could play a role in why Sasha was so controlling of her friendship with Anne and Marcy. These are legitimate reasons for placing most of the responsibility on Sasha for the calamity trio being in Amphibia in the first place. However, I still think that of the Calamity trio, Marcy is the most responsible. Sasha definitely deserves a good portion of the blame. She was manipulative and controlling of her friends, but we know that Sasha's friendship with Anne and Marcy didn't start like that, due to the flashback in the episode "the third temple". When Sasha met Anne and Marcy, she was genuinely trying to help them, while standing up to bullies for them. Anne and Marcy really seemed to think Sasha was cool back then. Between then and the day the trio came to Amphibia is largely unknown. We don't know for sure, but it is heavily implied that Sasha's manipulative and controlling nature is due to her parents being divorced. Sasha was even shown to somewhat resent the fact that Anne has loving parents, which may be evidence that Sasha has divorced parents. It explains that Sasha does things that can easily get her into trouble because she's acting out. It also explains why she's so controlling over her friendship with Anne and Marcy. Sometimes when children are put into situations outside their control, they tend to try to take control over situations that they think they can control, especially if it matters to them. It's shown that Sasha's friendship with Anne and Marcy matters a great deal to her. It's why she's shown preferring their to going home. We even see Sasha frustrated when she thinks Anne and Marcy don't need her anymore. I honestly got the feeling from the series that Sasha needed Anne and Marcy more than they needed her. That's what I at least noticed about Sasha. Even with Sasha's flaws that negatively affected her friendship with Anne and Marcy, and played a role in the calamity trio being in Amphibia, I still think that Marcy is mostly responsible. Marcy did find the music box, and even if Sasha made her feel like a third wheel in the friendship of the calamity trio, so did Anne in that regard. It was still Marcy's decision to tell Sasha about the box, and even though Anne was pressured to steal it, it was by both Sasha and Marcy. I like Marcy, but if she hadn't read about the box, found the box, and decided to tell about the box, the calamity trio wouldn't have been in Amphibia in the first place. For better or worse, Anne, Sasha, and Marcy played a negative role in their friendship with each other, that ultimately led all 3 of them to Amphibia, even if I think Marcy is a little bit more responsible than Anne and Sasha. That's my take on it anyway.

I never though ab this, but when u do think ab it, Marcy would probaly not have been so attached/bonded to her friends, if she didn’t feel so left out. I feel like Sasha had effected Anne and Marcy negatively 100%, and so Marcy had felt like she had to keep them together, thinking she would have to stay in such a negative relationship, and feel pressured along with Anne aswell.

First off I honestly agree that Sasha is mostly at her fault here and that without her neglectful actions we wouldn't even get the show at all cuz she is the driving force of most of the story in my opinion. Not the main focus but Sasha has been the one who contradicts most of the storyline when she is on screen in all the seasons. Secondly without a doubt I will subscribe to your second Channel. Anne was literally just as neglectful of Marcy's interest as Sasha was. They BOTH neglected her needs because they didn't realize how isolated they made her feel, or that she didn't have a real outlet to express herself. Blaming Sasha alone for that is completely unfair, and inaccurate to what we're told and show in the series.

I still think Domino is the one to blame. The story of Amphibia is based on a prophecy, and this prophecy wouldn't exist without Domino. The Olms, Leif, Andreas, and the 3 girls were destined to end up where they were and destined to do what they did. All because Domino didn't want to do their job.

Tbf marcy didn't really think it would work. She loves fantazy and magical worlds, but she isn't dumb to think those exist in real life. Of course, she hoped it would work, which isn't great, but she reasonably didn't think of consequences and you can't blame her for that. It's like wishing on a shooting star: you hope it'll happen, but you don't actually expect it to happen. What she actually did bad is to lie to her friends for months in amphibia and cooperating with andrias, not transporting them all to amphibia because no one in the right mind would know what could happen

I have a huge essay I want to write on this matter but lacking time I also feel all mentioned above hold levels of responsibility of the many intentional and unintentional consequences. Now in a domino effect the girls sent to Amphibia is short term. Long term that many don't consider is the deaths and destruction in LA and all that entails. Now for individuals each has a level of responsibility towards others even if unintentionally and domino effected. But I like to add another to the list that isn't even a person: "Prophecy". There is much horror, manipulation, and lack of free will and an antithesis to "the future what you make of it", luck, and responsibility in itself but out of time right now. Might write more later only if others are interested.

marcy knew that they were gonna get transported in another world, she knew that they were going to explore another world, she did it on purpose. she kept silent about it and did not even tell anne who's been homesick for ages whilst they were in amphibia about her horrendous plan. she's one to blame. anne was clueless and did not have another way around because she is afraid of sasha. she is afraid of their friendship tearing apart. she would let people talk for and over her, she doesn't mind. she's selfless, careless, and does not care about on what responsibility is. she could've stood up to sasha but she knew it would only lead to worse scenarios. partially to blame. sasha, toxic manipulation, bad influencer, and a major brainwasher. i personally blame sasha, she is the reason on why they got stranded in amphibia, if she hadn't pushed anne to meet up with marcy and steal the box, none of this would've happened. unless marbles gets another malicious plan. she is the reason why they got stranded in amphibia. she is a horrible person. i wish i can say more but it feels like i'm hating on sasha😭 guys dont worry i love the trios💖💖sasha's her character development was amazing you go girl get it sasha gf ⚔️😘💅🏻 marcy is my fav character in the show and it hurts seeing her true colors in yk true colo- anne was amazing her finale was literally perfect spranne against the WORLD hats down to the amphibia creww

Beautiful summary! I believe that it was Sasha’s fault. Sure both Anne and Sasha ignored Marcy’s interest but that was when Sasha kept manipulating Anne. Anne would definitely listen to Marcy without Sasha in the way. Great video.

Still not convinced. Yes, Sasha has manipulated Anne into stealing the box but it's not her idea in the first place. It was Marcy who really knew something about the box and tried to use it for its purpose, not Sasha. I highly doubt that Sasha's manipulative behaviour has damaged Anne and Marcy's mutual trust that much but even if it did I don't think it would make any major change with all this "move to another state" situation. Marcy would still be afraid of losing contact with Anne (and Sasha) so she'll still try to use the box to "fix it". She could have been more open about the box true purpose to her friend(s) but this changes a little. So it's mostly Marcy's fault.

Off topic but u know the friendship is bad when they convince u to steal ur own present😂

Yes? She can?? Sasha had absolutely NO idea what the box was, why it mattered, or what it would do. She never intended to put Anne in harms way, nor would she have tolerated the idea of kidnapping her friends (obviously). In fact, her whole motivation in season 1 was literally getting her and her friends their best chance at returning home, something that was ENTIRELY Marcy's fault, and no one else's. As for how Marcy was treated, Sasha's not even the most to blame for that. ANNE was just as neglectful of her interest and her personal needs, and neither her nor Sasha realized this until they did some self reflection near the end of the series. But, even if she were somehow worse than Anne in that regard (even though Sasha's main flaw is that she's pushy with her friends, NOT that she doesn't care about their well being), it still doesn't change the fact that Marcy's decision was entirely her own. Whether she trusted Anne and Sasha or not.

This is a really good question but I gotta say it’s Sasha… Marcy may have been the one to find the box in the first place, but Anne was only doing what she thought was right by spending extra time with her friends-on her birthday no less. Sasha was the one who inadvertently went along with Marcy’s plan, even going as far as to convince Anne under pressure.

This story is how true the calamity box opens up into a portal of Amphibia having most of the time hiding away for many years ago. Marcy's responsible to find out the whole history, which secretly led her friends to stay forever. Honestly, I can't even imagine talking about season two with reference to Marcy.

I liked the amphibia story line but what if things have gone differently so I crated a au called A M P H I B I A R I S E N A N D F O R G O T T E N E P I S O D E 1 T H E D A R K E S T H O U R A broken window can be seen as wind hollows and white clouds fill the sky as the sun is at the top then a loud crash and bang can be heard King Andrias can be seen fighting grime and sasha before pushing them aside King Andrias:(gasp) THE BOX!!! Marcy hasn’t open a portal yet Marcy:c’mon it wasn’t this hard before- marcy can hear big thud sounds behind her Marcy:huh??? Marcy sees andrias charging at her Marcy:(Gasp) AHHHHHH Marcy attempts to run before tripping over herself Marcy:oof The calamity box slips out of marcy’s hands before landing in anne’s hands Anne:(gasp) Anne attempts to use the calamity box Anne:(grunts) how do you activate…(stabs) Anne looks down to see andrias sword piercing throw anne’s chest Everyone gasp King Andrias:now look what happened Sasha and Marcy:a…anne? Anne looks at sasha and marcy before falling onto the floor Sasha:… NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Sasha enraged throws her sword at Andrias but Andrias dodges it then the sword hits the calamity box instead then an explosion happen lightning up the entire place before fading Sprig sees anne on the ground Sprig:anne? Before seeing blue shards emerging from anne then scattering throughout amphibia One of the blue shards hits the hover platform holding the castle in place the castle begins to tip over causing everything to fall marcy and sasha held on to a broken window seal with everyone else holding on marcy and sasha look at each other before marcy sees anne coming towards her Marcy:ANNE Anne knocks marcy off causing her and everyone else to fall and sasha loose her grep and falls with marcy joe sparrow catches everyone Andrias catches the calamity box then orders the frobots to hold the castle in place While he puts the box back in place before noticing something is missing This is the prologue In this anne gets stabbed and loses her memories because of the sword hitting the calamity box fortunately for anne she was resurrected but with no memory however she can regain her memories back by getting any of the blue shards however these blue shards also become dangerous because they hold valuable things like movies and shows etc because of this the core will take advantage of this and use it on our heroes also in this sasha and marcy get their aka anime (calamity) powers just like anne thanks to the explosion Anne and marcy ans the planters end up on earth this is where marcy gets to learn her mistakes ans tries to be better while helping anne during this time andrias tries to capture anne and marcy and not kill them andrias is aware of their calamity powers however he can’t simply open a poetal to jnvade earth because some of the power of the calamity box is missing hense they have it so he plans to capture all three this is also where the core wants anne because anne holds a valuable information i call The equation its corrupting the calamity box causing it to act aggressive to anyone even the core is afraid to even go near it however they can still make portals also the core after they extract the information anne is too valuable with the information so they plan to assemble her to the core they obviously can’t kill her because it will just be a waste also the frobots become harder to fight as time goes on Also in this au sasha ans marcy’s parents show up Sorry if I mispelled you tube is being a prick to me again I’m also writing this on a google docs the stories so I need help how to punish this online

Honestly I blame none of these guys. I blame the Core. Had it just decided to use the materials from other worlds without killing anyone, NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED

I think that Sasha has the most part of the blame. She was a very bad friend, and she was always pushing Anne to get what she wants. Marcy's parents also have blame, but we hadn't met them, so it doesn't count

honestly, being a huge sasha fan, those view points are still strong and valid. but life goes on, and like anne said ," its not about who we were that matters , its who we are now that counts". and at the very least sasha regretted her choices.

Aldrich would hold more responsibility here Andrias wasn't originally completely on board with it judging by his "wipe out an entire race?! isn't that a little extreme?" line Aldrich's manipulation caused Andrias to feel like Leif betrayed him and get on board with the invasion Also saying Leif didn't like the idea of conquering earth is false she literally didn't care until she saw the vision of Amphibia's destruction if the vision wasn't a thing she would be 100% fine with all of humanity dying

Here's my theory, I swear I haven't been smoking anything (at the moment). It was Dipper. He wrote the book. He was the reason why Marcy discovered the box in the first place. He is clearly the author just think about it. Logically someone would say it was Leif, but how was she supposed to know about Bill Cipher? Also you have a parody of the Vitruvian Man by Da Vinci. How in the fuck is she supposed to know that much about humans? As far as we know, she travelled to Earth once, left the box, then went back to Amphiba. The real question is how the box ended up on a fucking thrift shop when it's supposed to be a 1000-year-relic. Now as for the fan theory that it was Ford, I disagree. Ford wrote 3 journals, and those were all of his research up until he went through the portal, confirmed by him fighting Stan over the first. If the journals weren't the only ones, why bother fighting over the first? There's two alternatives of course, which are that the journals were the only books that revealed the inner workings of the portal, not necessarily the only books he wrote, or rather Ford wrote the fourth (that we know of) book. Firstly, he seemed very concerned about keeping his research inside Gravity Falls or at least outside of the goverment's interests, so why risk it with a book that, despite being potentially dismissed by everyone as no more than science fiction, could still be found in a public library? Moreover, it didn't just talk about science fiction, it talked about Bill Cipher and the Calamity Box, two potential dangers for the wider multiverse. And secondly, Ford is far away going on adventures with Stan, I'm sure he doesn't have the spirit to write about his discoveries anymore, or at least not to publically sell them. He's living his best life, why write about all that? And still, for all they know, Bill is dead and buried, and I struggle to believe that the Calamity Box was found at sea or in an island only to end up on a thrift shop in California. Even if he brought it back home, how does it end up at a fucking thrift shop? Then comes Dipper. By 2019-2020 he would already be an adult, and judging by his intelligence he's probably already done some research on how the wider multiverse works (the portal and Bill are all the proof he needed of its existence). With this we can determine that he has, most likely, expanded on Ford's research, even after the burning of the journals (and arguably more so). Eventually he encountered the Calamity Box, and of course wrote about it. He didn't know how it worked, but maybe by some freakish accident he managed to open a portal to another world. Maybe Dipper visited Amphibia, and that's why he wrote about the box's multiversal travelling capacities. But why do Anne, Sasha and Marcy get stranded on Amphibia with no safe way back home until they manage to recharge each stone while Dipper could travel safely by my headcanon? Well, Dipper didn't have anything to do with the Olm's Prophecy, so I doubt he'd have drained the box's power on his travel. So there you go, Dr. P is actually Dr. Mason Pines, 19 or 20-year-old genious, with research on the existence of the multiverse (and actual proof that he won't be dumb enough to share yet because government and of course he doesn't trust humanity with the power of multiversal travel). If I don't get confirmation of the contrary in the next 24 hours I'm just gonna assume this is all canon. Edit: Dipper is most likely 19 or younger when he writes the book given the fact that both Halloween and Christmas take place during the events of Amphibia, and Anne had been stranded on Amphibia for approximately 5 months before she came back home, then most likely spent at least 2 or 3 weeks on Earth based on Sprig saying they had been with the Boonchuys for a week since True Colors.

Marcy. Sasha never pressured Marcy to get a gift for Anne, only that she should be there on Anne's birthday. Marcy picked the box without Sasha's influence and kept the secret of what the box was probably capable of to herself till Andrias pressure her to confess.
