IPS has direct control over thousands of police who has their own individual power😉 Ips uniform has power in that Ips can be handled only by true men......❤️

Everything is correct except one thing, after 7th Pay Commission salaries of IAS, IPS, IRS & other civil servants is same. Salary increases according to seniority and ranks. So no one is getting more salary than others. Thank you.

ofcourse ias is more powerful ias is head of district nd he handle 28 department alone including police department

Not including Police department.......when u don't have the knowledge so don't spread wrong information According to Article-312 and All india services rules IAS and IPS officer are equivalent rank officer Dm = SSP/SP ( IN RANK) now after the amendment SP reports to DIG and IG of their respective region

a State Home Secretary has power to suspend policeofficers likewise District Collectors have powers to suspend any policeofficer upto rank of Inspector from their jurisdiction.

@@harshtripathi8337 ias.ips.ifs.irs...all are honorable services but when it come to power the ias stand above all...All IAS officers are considered to be more powerful than IPS officers due to certain reasons. Some of them are stated below. The first reason is that the DGP of the State is a more powerful police officer of the state but he has been reported to the home secretary who will be an IAS officer. Another reason is that all heads of Central Police Forces such as CBI, CRPF, BSF will report to IAS Secretaries who are often junior to them. The IAS officers will be able to get a faster promotion than IPS. In most of the states, the performance report of SP will be written by DM even when SP is several batches senior to him. In a district, the Superintendent of Police has been given the charge of the entire police force under his jurisdiction reports to the DM who will be the IAS officer. This is done because; in a democracy, we need a balance of the power. The police are not allowed to enjoy a free hand over the civilians. In metros and in bigger cities there has a commissionerate system and in such places, it is the City Police Commissioner who will be holding the magisterial powers to take the swift action against anti-social elements. When it comes to a state level, the DGP need to report to the Home Secretary who is an IAS officer and Home Secretary is not the boss of DGP. They work in coordination with each other

Like that your result in graduation will be good also which is very important for your academics. Wish u all the best for being a IPS in future
