This interviewer should allow this young man be. He was too aggressive for my liking. Kishane is only 22yrs old who prior to the Jamaican trials was relatively unknown. He should be allowed to warm into his new found fame naturally and not forced to be who he is not. Well done to the clearly shy young man for remaining game and calm with the interviewer. Lots of love from Nigeria.

I like what I saw and heard from this young man during the interview. He is focused on his goals, but not overwhelmed by them. He hinted at his early life and stated that he remained focused while growing up which he clearly carried through to the present time. I heard someone on a podcast asked if there is a danger that he will become overwhelmed by the ocasion at the olympics, somehow I doubt that very much. This young man is grounded. He just has to continue listening to and trusting his coaches, as he is already doing and maintain a cool head on his shoulders. Kishane, beware of all the friends that suddenly appear that you never knew you had - male and female. I am praying for your success.

It is of interest to note that he said that he does not know how to mange his speed, and was not able to follow his coaches instructions to run only 60m. Veterans such as Sherika know how to do this, so for those of us who are worried about her, dont be, she was following her coach's instruction not to run fast. Jamaica wins both male and female 100m at Paris.

Lyles is trying to hard and come out as annoying. Bolt was just charismatic. Another thing about Bolt, he never, ever disrespect his opponents/competition. Lyles is constantly disrespecting his opponents by talking too much or attacking them. I stopped being Lyles supporter when he went after his 18 year old American opponent couple of years ago. Bolt was entertaining, he was charismatic and still managed not to disrespect his opponents. You are born with charisma and you cannot force yourself to be charismatic or cool. Lyles is trying too hard and I don't know what is the tongue sticking-out thing he keeps doing like a little child.

Fantastic interview. I really hope he continues to stay focused, humble but strong for himself. It’s really refreshing to see that the calm, bashful yet decent demeanor still exists in our young Jamaicans. Reminds me of a little bit of Bob when he started out. Proud to be Jamaican🇯🇲 16:09

Honestly as a track fan I’ve never heard of Kishane Thompson until few weeks ago. Then I see the media trying to make Him and Lyles rivals, never really knew what kinda guy he is. But as I’m watching this interview he seems like such a a relaxed and humble character. Wasn’t expecting him to be 22 also! I can’t critique anything about his technique, looos very good! I’m praying for all the best at olympics!

Father its sports and all, but may I ask you to keep him grounded as he is. Energize him mentally and physically so that his best is yet to come. Oh what humility, and Wayne is a splendid journalist innu, like he knows how to get the information that us fans want. Asafa has always been my Star and I think with his humilty, I need to buy his gears in support from now
