Who is General Nazgrim? - Wow Lore

Nazgrim is first introduced as sargeant Nazgrim in Grizzly hills as a standard quest giver. After the Northrend campaigns comes to an end and Hellscream is brought up to the rank as warchief, Nazgrim rose within the ranks of the horde military and became a kor'kron Legionnaire.
Then in Cataclysm you sail with Legionnaire Nazgrim in what you think is to the location of a new battleground and end up getting ship wrecked by a kraken and kidnapped by the naga.
While in Vashj'ir you help Nazgrim fight the naga and kill Lady Vashj in the throne of tides. In the concluding events to the Vashj'ir storyline, Nazgrim regards the players as "Friend".
Following the events of the destruction of theramore when the horde and alliance are on the verge of a 4th war, Nazgrim is promoted to the rank of General and sent to lead the expedition on pandaria and establish a foothold.
Once you crash-land on pandaria you help him in the Jade forest make his "mark" on the newly discovered continent.
Unlike Hellscream, Nazgrim doesnt see all other races of the horde as weak and makes it a point to use each races strengths during the jade forrest questlines.
After hellscream obtains the old gods heart he returns to orgrimar and calls Nazgrim back with him.
During the Siege of orgimar, After the Alliance and the rebellion smash their way through the city, Nazgrim is there waiting for them and dies during his defense of orgrimar.
As a quest line shows in dragon-blight, when your enlisting a few tanku into the horde
"Lok'tar ogar! Victory or death - it is these words that bind me to the Horde. For they are the most sacred and fundamental of truths to any warrior of the Horde.
I give my flesh and blood freely to the Warchief. I am the instrument of my Warchief's desire. I am a weapon of my Warchief's command.
From this moment until the end of days I live and die - For the Horde!"

Nazgrim was such a badass while everyother orc who was loyal to Garrosh was a total tool Nazgrim was able to work for that prick yet still maintain his honor
two fun facts: Nazgrim was in Rexxar's pre-WoW Warcraft 3 campaign, as a quest-reward NPC. Nazgrim's Actor, David Lodge, has been working with blizzards since the days of Warcraft 3, as Archimonde. (Wish that had not changed in Caverns of Time.)

I really liked him, in Pandaria he was a cool guy together with the Ho zen

He should have stayed dead if they're just gonna bring him back to sit in the desthknight class hall and have nothing to do with the story anymore

Nazgrim didn't even want to fight; he only did due to the oath he made to Hellscream; dishonoring that would not be the Orc way.
Lady Vashj wasn't in Vashj'ir. She died in BC.

hirumaredx Well, he's basically the Alliance's counterpart to Nazgrim, appearing in Vashj'ir for the first time, then being the central pivot character in Jade Forest for the alliance. He's also on the alliance introduction cinematic to Pandaria and in other places.

he diedin org... till legion where he is brought back as a member of the new dk 4 horsemen
you forgot to show what he is actually saying in the raid (only on horde side i think ). Something like "we grew together and now facing eachother, what we do now we do for the horde...both of us" and when you kill him he said something like " it was my duty to stay with the warchief and it´s an honor to get struck down by your hand, lead the horde to the prosperity". That part gave me goosebumps and i think i´m not the only one... you were actually fighting against a friend and lost him in that battle.

I will NEVER forgive blizz for killing Nazgrim. after all me and Nazgrim have been through together :( he was like a brother to me! we fought together to secure the Horde's dominance in the grizzly hills... he was by my side through all of Vash'jir where we fought against countless enemies! we were shipwrecked, half of our warriors drowned, we were outnumbered, outgunned, outmatched and outclassed but we still lived through it all :'( I flew with him on the gunship to find pandaland where we ended up shipwrecked yet again and even though the odds weren't in our favor (as always) we were able to march up and down the panda playground killing anyone who stood in our way! then blizz had to take him away?! WHY!
wasnt he in WC3 the frozen throne orc campaign?

Hail nazgrim. I miss u. Duty called amd u did your duty too damn well, and u died for it :( I think they "killed" admiral taylor just to balance it out or to fuck with people who complained about nazgrim dying

+HeatRayz Video (Heat Rayz) Model sizes in terms of lore is irrelevant. People grow big and shrink back to small all the time. It's more of a gameplay thing to actually being able to see him.

I'm just waiting for him to return either as a death knight, undead or by being resurrected back into a normal living being. I wouldn't put it past sylvanas to turn him into an undead since he was a well respected general, loyal to the horde who doesn't look down on the other races.

As a player who started during Cataclysm, Nazgrim was one of my favourites. What really gets me annoyed though is that no alliance players know who he is and bitch about him becoming one of the four horsemen. Dude, this guy was a total badass! At least Varok is still hanging on!
