I sided with Darth Jadus in my Imperial Agent playthrough, he was incredible. I agree with Vitiate that he was the greatest Sith the empire produced.

in a way, both Malgus and Jadus had the same goals, their approaches however were almost opposite. Malgus used open revolution while Jadus used covert methods.

Malgus's New Empire would've succeeded if he was the field general and Jadus ruled behind the scenes benefiting their personalities. Or we the players had the choice of joining Malgus.

Any council member has something interesting about them. I especially have an interest in the spheres of influence. Imperial intelligence, ancient knowledge, Sith philosophy, mysteries, etc; it's all so interesting! We get to see the detail in management of each sphere through each leader. And this one, is by far one of my favorites.

Great video! Darth Jadus is my FAVORITE sith lord. Focused, cunning, brilliant and patient. Two extra comments. His PR campaign of democratizing fear simply meant everyone fears Jadus. Second, his plan was working well, manipulating the Eagle, blasting 1,000+ sith members into oblivion and faking his death. All went well until the imperial agent made Darth Jadus realize that without her half of the codes the Eradicators would simply wreak random havoc and not demolish his enemies to the level he required. Now that Watcher 2 knew he was alive, Jadus knew the Dark Council would chase him until the could reap nasty revenge. Better to disappear, let the attention of the Dark Council turn back to the war and slowly start another plan.

It's kind of weird of him to just back down. He could: 1. Torture the agent for the code using the Force 2. Have his underlings search the ship for listening devices or other infiltrators (since the agent said the conversation was being recorded)

Now that I think about it… Malgus original goal (when we fight him as a raid boss) was pretty similar to Jadus’ goal: Unifying the empire and making it accept other races then human.

Your account is honestly rlly underrated

I really enjoyed this video. Not only is it a character I've never heard of before but your videos gain more quality over time. The visualization is better than before (maybe related to the materials now being provided by SWTOR). I like the way you integrated the different player's choices into the storytelling. Also props to you for explaining roles of persons important to the story. But completely new stories are difficult to take in at first. Even though I watched it several times now, I didn't quite understand some aspects like why Jadus had to kill his daughter to reclaim his seat. I would be grateful if you would take more time in the next videos elaborating these relations :) Darth Jadus is a very interesting Sith considering him hiding his emotions and being second in power to the emperor. Glad you chose this character for your series. Else I probably would have never learned about him. (Can't wait for you reaching 2000 subs)

Regarding Zhorrid and Jadus - When Jadus is pronounced dead by the empire, Zhorrid is elected as his successor on the Dark Council and takes over control of Imperial Intelligence. I chose not include this, because her taking over isn't really relevant to Jadus and I didn't want the story veering away from Jadus himself, but, now that you mention it, I probably should've added that nearer to the end to add context to it. He's fascinating, I hope he shows up again :) (Neither can I 😁, Thank you for being an integral part of this community and for being so kind 'Meetra' 🙂)

I personally can't see them making a new ultra Villain now, especially with the game on the decline.

Yes, I've done all classes at least once to class story completion. My Favorite class story is Imperial Agent but I main a Smuggler/Gunslinger and a Sith Sorcerer.

Well, I really like this video, I wish I saw it before I made the choice of what to do with Jadis on my agent character. I would have chosen option three had I known Jadus and the outcomes better. I chose the first option

I would love to see the remakes of KOTOR lead to a Kotor 3. I'm not a fan of SWTOR but would love to see them reuse some of the characters they have like Jadus. They could make a huge map to explore and you have to travel the worlds to destroy the sith Lords occupying or trying to occupy planets to lure out the true dark lord. Or something. I would love a bunch of sith Lords you can interact with

Darth Jadus is so epic

SWTOR has some absolutely exceptional storylines, which makes the game as unique as exceptional for story-loving fans

Jadus was trying to stop the Sith from destroying themselves again but nobody understood his goal.

Ruling through an iron fist, I love it. Keep the streets clean through fear.

You really should do more character explained from the characters of SWTOR.

One of my favorite Siths.

He looks like a Star Wars knock off of Snake Eyes and Cobra Commander combined.

Jadus is confirmed alive, I wish they (Bioware) would bring him back!

Yea, but that's not why he has that name. I was one of the early writers for the Imperial Agent storyline (not Mr Freed, the main author, just one of the many initial people who create the puzzle pieces of a story for the head-writers to piece together for a whole Quest line), and I wrote a lot of the foundations for who Darth Jadus was as a character. I was given special permission to name him after my own legal name, despite being female. My name is pretty neutral, and it's quite unique. I've noticed the Judas similarity my whole life obvioisly, but it's the consonants of my name that hold deep meaning. My eldest brother, Joshua, was killed before I could know him. His initials were JDS; hence, my name. There's the obscure little backstory for where a Star Wars character got their name, and it's not a fact you could find online (I don't think, at least. Pretty sure my personal connection wasn't broadcast by BioWare. Maybe Mr Freed has spoken about it somewhere, though. Idk). Hope you enjoyed the storyline, and appreciate knowing the origin of a Sith Lord's name! :)

The story and connections behind the name are much more interesting than I initially thought. @@christianbryan6961 Yes, "Jadus" is in honor of my oldest brother. His initials were JDS. He was over 20 years older than me, and we had different fathers, but still my brother. He was murdered via being run over while on his motorcycle, due to his trying to stand up to abuse going on in my family. It's a long story. But that's where my name is from, and when I got the opportunity of a lifetime to work on writing for BioWare and LucasArts for one of the main class's storyline, I requested if I could have the Sith Lord I was helping to flesh out be named the same. I've gotten many compliments throughout my life for how unique my name is, and Mr Freed really liked it and felt it would fit perfectly for the Sith, even though the character would be male. It's a neutral name imo, could work for a man or woman. So yes, that's the origin story for where the name came from. I was quite young at the time; I had participated in a national writing exhibit in High School, and my short story collection attracted attention of an employee of LucasArts, and then of Mr Freed and the head writers for SWTOR. I was given the opportunity to work as one of several "interns", writing various small parts to make up the whole story. It was one of my favorite opportunities of my life, being a lifelong Star Wars fan since I was a little girl. :)

Would Jadus have been titled ‘Minister of Sith Intelligence’ like Lana Beniko? Or would Lana have reported to someone with Darth Jadus’ rank, such as her superior, Darth Arkous? It’s interesting Lana and Jadus were of the same generation.

For another character explained I would redo Meetras story with kotor 2s storyline too since that was a big part of it or make a video on Aryn Lenir

I believe one of new councils member...Darth Xarion was one of the survivors of dominator that survived and witnessed vision of jadus...the way he is acting the importance he gaves to intelligence is too similar to be coincidence...(of course i guess he was a mere apprentice or lord during those times)

Why didn’t he use the eradicators on the republic?

So I wonder after all this. I wonder what the creative team at swtor will make official "legends" . Because there were so many classes and choices. It is a lot of effort to decide which stays solidified but I think that sort of closure would be better. Since I am still advocate of the old canon , even though the new canon is slowly becoming interesting in certain areas. Like Thrawn, Vader , and the comics.

There's a lot to the emperor, so it's a big undertaking. However, he's someone I've considered for the future!

Jadus was a true believer of the Sith Philosophy and true believer of the Sith Code and a true Dark Lord of the Sith. Using fear, anger, hatred and passion as his main motivators. Also not sure if Jadus is human cause the helmet he wears offers no vision whatsoever so he could also be a Miraluka. Then again you had Snoke's Praetorian Guard who also had no vision slits on their helmets so

So, Jadus wanted to destroy the racism or am I wrong?

Revan initiated the first true resistance against the Mandelorian Crusaders (facts not hype) Revan became the third most powerful Sith Lord in the Galaxy behind Vitiate and Jadus (another fact not hype) Revan both started and ended the Jedi Civil War killing Darth Malak in the process (facts again not hype) Revan was responsible for the fall and creation of Darths Traya and Nihilus. Revan created the first Sith Assassin's and stealth assassin droids in the Galaxy (all facts) Revan is the only known being in the Galaxy to master both the light and darksides of the Force (another proven fact) See, we're not 'hyping' Revan, we're merely stating his many accomplishments. And because he's our guy sometimes we get a little preachy. But preachy or not, these are all researchable facts. That's all.

@@QoQabai658 Revan was never third most powerful sith in the galaxy. That’s not even close to a fact. Revan is also not the only character to master both light and dark. Literally the entirety of the Eternal throne was built on a mix of both, and The whole fact that neither the light or dark is enough was something emphasized by Valkorian, who was way more powerful then Revan. Also Revan being indirectly responsible for the creation of Nihilus isn’t really a feat. People also claim he’s responsible for the rule of two. Which he’s not. His fans often credit him for creating the force storm ability. He literally had nothing to do with that ability. He also wasn’t close to being as powerful as most fans seem to believe him to be. He only reached that level of power very briefly before he fucking died. He’s a great character, who had a huge impact on galactic history. But not nearly to the extent people seem to claim.

I sabotaged his ship and fought him to the bitter end, without killing his agent (the last LS thing I ever did) - That was back in the good old days right after launch. I guess I still have the head gear, symbolizing the Imperial Agency's victory over the representatives of the overzealous Sith regime. ))) P.S.: Being a female Chiss Sniper added a whole other level of racism and sexism during the missions, because that's deemed normal in a Sith Empire. I didn't believe a single word he had to utter, about New Imperial Order, wanted him gone out of the matters of the Agency, and never again toyed around with like his personal play thing. )))

Well given he’s basically a sith super spy, that just means he’s doing a good job lol.

Sad he has not returned in the story since.

He kinda looks like the Knights of Ren member with the lightsaber on the Marvel book cover that was released recently that has Kylo Ren and Luke Skywalker fighting off the Knights of Ren.

Starkiller would be considered a Dark Jedi. Light side ending a Grey.

I mean he was always just out for himself and his nonsens terror thing. He cares for nothing other then himself and so serving him is just being a fool that will be used and discarded. He also do not really serve the empire. Any improvement was just accidental as a tool to help himself. You want a Sith worth following look at
