Smith is far more clinical & technical; his accuracy will win him the rounds & unless he gasses in the last few rounds, he'll win a decision by 2 or 3 rounds margin. As Smith disclosed, CE insisted on a rematch clause in the contract......clearly, a Smith points win is considered to be a strong possibility by CE & his team.

This one goes to the cards and in Eubanks favour as he has the bigger engine. My only concern is that Eubank now is more a natural super middle and coming back to middle and Smith coming up to middle makes for a top fight. If Eubank doesn't take rounds off like he often does I think he will win but my heart wants Smith to win as I am not Eubank fan. I like concussive punchers not pitter patter like Eubank and I like to see knockouts but I don't see that happening in this fight.

IMO, Smith is the more clinical & consistent & if he can pace himself to have enough movement, resilience & stay sharp enough to weather the last few rounds with a game plan to counter eubank's haymakers, he'll win the decision by a 2 to 3 point margin across the scorecards; something, as Smith pointed out, the Eubank team have considered as being a strong possibility by the fact that they have insisted on a rematch clause in the contract. Eubank pays little respect to his opponents, nor evidently to his trainers & that attitude is the result of arrogance, conceit & not in any small part, ego & delusion. The facts of the matter are that CE is 33 & has been a pro for 11 years; during that period he has fought 34 times, losing each time he has stepped up to mid tier world class, his best win being against a rapidly declining, poorly conditioned DeGale who, like CE, prone to over-estimating his abilities & fought as though he was entitled to win. CE has never held a recognised world title (ibo being poorly respected & considered a "tin pot" belt, not recognised as legitimate by Ring). I consider Jnr to be a marginally better fighter than his father but regardless, he is at best, fringe contender class.

Any man who can go 7 good rounds against Canelo Álvarez has a great chance so don't right Smith off, some times the flash big egos like Eubank use this to hide weakness and fear.

Agreed ,styles make fights . Results against the same opponent mean nothing . For the record ,the greatest heavyweight of his era , was an absolute beast , going way back . Until he came up against gene tunney who was an out and out boxer , and he beat dempsey twice . I thinks smiths fundamentals are solid - I think he wins on points We had all the same bs comments before joshua v usyk 1 , and we know how that ended . I think if smith lasts 6 rounds of eubanks power , I think he will start to outbox him . I think 160 may suit smith better than eubank jr . He much struggle does eubank jr now have to get down to 160 , which may tell in later rounds .
