His messages are clear, and I have very much touched my life. And I have been Saved for 20 years. People intentionally misunderstand his messages. Running churches like businesses with expensive real estate investments and many full-time employees has opened the door for a capitalistic mentality that prioritizes charismatic figureheads that can get bodies in seats and money in the offering plate. The church needs to repent as a whole for perpetuating church as a business model rather as the instrument of Christ in the earth.

When Jesus said, "You will know them by their fruit" he wasn't talking about how much money they have, nor how they dress themselves in the fine threads, nor their fancy hairdos, nor how many followers they have, but by their behavior of humility and holy knowledge.

If I can add to your post, I was also just reading about the fruits of the spirit today! All of these things have everything to do with our character! The humility our savior requires of us. Galatians 5:22-23 New International Version 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Mike Todd never even mentioned what he or God speaks of as defining “fruit”. This was such a misleading message. Not biblical at all

All the fruits of the spirit the prophet mentioned in Galatians is based solely upon God's holiness. Pride and arrogance comes straight from Satan himself. His true spirit blurted those words out of nowhere. I guarantee you he did not know he said that until after he watched the video himself. I disagree, he likely legitimately was called. When you hear his origin story and testimonies from others who knew him early on, God clearly had His hand on him. We don't like to acknowledge that God's giftings are without repentance when people start going off the rails. But God put certain gifts within Mike Todd and wanted him to use them for His glory, like many of us. Mike Todd needs prayer and repentance, like many of us. The real difference is that teachers are judged more harshly and Todd's reach and influence exaggerate the effects of both his gifts and his weaknesses on vulnerable people.

I have lived my life as a Christian pretty non-denominational, until a while ago when I decided I didn't want to go to these concert venue-esque churches. Churches don't reflect the beauty of God anymore. I'm not saying they have to be Gothic like or anything, but please, it looks more like a Broadway stage. Anyways, anyone who sees this, are there any good denominations that follow the word/laws of God? I think I'd like to join a denomination of Christians that follow the laws and holidays of the Lord just like me.

I teach my 9 year old that it’s ok to disagree with someone or to correct someone. However, we MUST be KIND when doing it! It’s not ok to mistreat someone or to be unkind to people. I teach my kid that unfortunately, most kids aren’t kind. I’ve also had to teach him that there are fully functioning ADULTS who are unkind too and therefore; are horrible representatives of Christ. My kid knows we will ALL give an account for all our works. Whenever we witness unkind people, my son will say, “Wow! Is that worth losing rewards over? Don’t they know they’re going to have to answer to Jesus for this???” It is my prayer that we will ALL start representing Christ better.

…honestly, not to many pastors will EVER except constructive criticism and or doctrinal correction….. They can be proven wrong by the word itself and still hold on to what is wrong…. Because to admit to being wrong means I must now go to my church and tell them I have errored and teach the correct doctrine. Many, many Pastors pride won’t let them do that…. They fear the members will think less of them or that there flawed at understanding their Bible, or they haven’t got the Holy Spirit to lead them into all truth…

“If anyone wants to take my position, you can have it….” There is NO WAY he would give up that church unless he is going to be pastor at an even bigger church or he can make more money in another way.

So to answer the question: Fruit=followers. Todd is basically saying that those who talk about me don't have as many followers (fruit) so where is 'their fruit'. Mr. Todd believes he's the "tree" and his followers are the "fruit".. I guess.

I absolutely love Mike Todd. I love his teaching and his relatability to the audience, not to mention his creativity and innovative instruction. The only thing I don't want for him is focusing his sermons on the acts of others unless God told him to do so. He doesn't need to worry about them. Nonetheless, i absolutely love and applaud the guy, and attacking, judgmental videos like these simply remind me to pray that God continues to cover and propel the ministry He placed before him.

Proverbs 14:7-9 Leave the presence of a fool, for there you do not meet words of knowledge. The wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way, but the folly of fools is deceiving. Fools mock at the guilt offering, but the upright enjoy acceptance.

How many people "give their life to Christ" has no bearing on the pastor or his work but on the work of Christ. But I would dare say most of what he says are converts are really not repentant people because they are not taught they are sinners who need to repent.

He is already in error. The true mark of those that shall cry "Lord Lord did not we", is their willingness to boast of their works before a perfect and righteous GOD. No true follower of Christ would take credit for the work that the Holy Spirit has performed through us. His instagram was blowing up with people calling him out. In his sermon he said God will use people to call you out. Let's see how he turns this one on his "haters".

I heard a wonderful pastor yesterday and his sermon was titled "Preach the Gospel". That is the pastor's assignment and they are failing if they are not preaching the gospel to God's people. Pastors please just preach the gospel.
