Unless you have a restaurant around your place that serves proper or near to authentic neastern food, recommending any random random dish would be a bit too adventurous or wild considering you're a vegetarian. The neast states DO HAVE many amazing vegetarian dishes but most of them requires local grown vegetables or ingredients. And rn i can't think of any veg dishes you can try or make it at home. Maybe others from the neast who see your comment here can think of something to recommend. Sowyyyy :')

Fun fact in Bangladesh, we dont exactly have a rule on having daal first or last. Most of the family i know, including mine, eats vaji (veges) then the protein dish. Sometimes they mix daal with the meat (beef, chicken, mutton) or have it at the end. It’s amazing to see similar food eaten in different ways in Kolkata ❤
