Evrim Tao Ozen, born in Michigan and raised in Izmir, Turkey, started playing guitar at 13, inspired by Eddie Van Halen. Proficient in rock, blues, funk fusion, jazz, prog metal, R&B, pop, Latin, Turkish, and Indian music, he moved to Hollywood to attend the Musicians Institute with three scholarships.
On his first day, he met and jammed with Scott Henderson, who recommended him to other instructors. Evrim joined Ruled By Light and collaborated with top musicians. Endorsed by Eart Guitars, Evrim is now an active session, live gigging, and touring guitarist, continually pushing musical boundaries.
