Winner of a video, been searching for "rehearsal dinner speech examples father groom" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Teyatthew Acclaimed Trick - (should be on google have a look ) ? It is an awesome one of a kind guide for discovering how to give a mind blowing wedding speech without the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cousin got excellent results with it.
Despite that you’re probably annoyed with a lot of my comments, haha, this is why I listened to the whole channel; some good ideas in here I can build from!

Could just writing and mailing thank you notes after the wedding be good enough? Another could be providing to-go boxes at the wedding for guests to take home some leftover food

It is a good one of a kind guide for discovering how to give a mind blowing wedding speech without the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cousin got great results with it.

Most venues and caterers will not let you take leftover food unfortunately, but usually you can pack up leftover cake. If you had cupcakes those would be super cute to box up for your wedding party or guests. I think favors for each guest are absolutely unnecessary and nobody misses them. Thank you cards for your wedding guests is definitely enough. For your wedding party to keep costs low you could always do one nicer item around $15-$20 and then DIY or candy type gift with it.
This was a great video... so many good gift options! Is there a general rule about how much you spend on each person?

It totally depends on your budget! I recommend allocating 1-2% of your total wedding budget to this then divide that up!
Also, if i get the dresses for the bridesmaids do i still get gift or just something special in their wedding favor bags?

Dresses are a huge gift! You could do something small for them if you wanted to, but I think dresses are plenty!

It’s 100% up to you! Usually the maid of honor gift is extra special because of all the work they put into helping you with your wedding. If they aren’t really involved, then you don’t need to!
