At the end of April five dead Red Squirrels were placed in the middle of the path in front of the Trailcam. Several different animals investigated over the following day and a half.
Disclaimer: As of May 2023, Michigan property owners can kill red squirrels on their land year-round without a permit if the animals are considered a nuisance.
