Personally, I'd like to see O'Connell take a big year 2 jump and become one of the better young QBs in the league. But I'm okay with Minshew as well. I just want to win, and, at this point, I don't care how we do it or who we do it with.

I only want Aidan to be the one under Center so that we can see what he's got. I think he flashed a lot of potential. Minshew has likely shown his ceiling already.

I like how y'all be trying to put all this stuff together. But the best quarterback is going to win it's O'Connor's job to lose.I think he's gonna surprise a lot of people.But I'd rather than use both in certain situations.That's my opinion​@@isaiahayers1550

@turnipsucks6416 we can definitely win alot more games than what people think. Everyone afraid of Baltimore but we've literally been almost equal as far as playing each other. We've never been wiped by them in the recent years. I think our offense is way more efficient than the past 2 years. Definitely winning more than last season. But we can win them all if we bring our A-Game every single week . That's a fact

Minshew is Kool man but it's AOC to start and he's going to do/be a whole lot better with his confidence growing with the HC coach and the vet wr and y'all know who i'm talking about having confidence and believing in him and saying that they can see his growth. So let's see what it do in training camp , preseason and the season and see if he makes it happen and i just think that he's going to make it happen

Aiden all day over Minshew. Minshew had a better o-line at the colts than Aiden did here for. Our entire success on offense depends on the 12 scheme working to give QB enough time to throw and enough blocking help for the RB.

Lifetime Raiders fan and hands down, AOC is the best Raiders QB we've had since MVP Rich Gannon 🙌. Give the kid time he was in a terrible situation with JM and not getting any reps.. After AP took over AOC, was massively improved.

We will see in the preseason games who has the leg up🦵🏻 in this QB battle. Right now It's pretty much 50/50 but, that pengelium ⚖️ could swing either way. I JUST WANT TO WIN❕GAMES’

Aiden hands down will start. Minshew will be the starter if Aiden crashes and burns and starts going backwards. Then and only then will AP and TT know what they have in Aiden if anything at all. They already know what Minshew is and his ceiling or the lack thereof for that matter. Nobody knows what we have in O’Connell until he gets a year or so under his belt. I believe he comes out and surprises everyone doubting him.

Aiden's arm talent just jumps out at you.

Lotta guys have arm talent and never sniff a snap in a real game. Minshew is small, doesn’t have a big arm, and is not the fastest yet he came real close to bringing the Colts to the playoffs. Minshew was 9-6 with a Colts team that has a weak receiving group and a Defense that gave up the most points in the entire AFC. Minshew can win games.

A J O'Connell.

The guy that has a deep and accurate arm. I don't wanna see the box being stacked problem the offense had with Garropolo like last season. It takes away the run and everything underneath. Gotta make those Safeties back off and the offensive weapons can feast wherever.

O'Connell. Some of the throws he made last year were incredible. A lot of his issues can be coached and getting more reps with the starters will reduce overthrows and timing miscommunication. If Raiders go into the season with a career backup as QB1, they're basically admitting defeat and giving up on the season.

Thanks bro. It looks like the more you dig into the tape they are the same quarterback. The only edge O’Connel has is he has experience with the recievers and you hope to see a second year leap. We’ll see what happens but Minshew to me is starting at worst case scenario.

Minshew the ability to change plays & keep the play alive will be key imo AOC doesn't have a high ceiling & honestly is easy to game plan for, if the play breaks down it's game over it's not like we have a super elite OL but if he really has improved a ton I'm down to roll with him although i doubt it

Aiden...He earned it! Initially set up to fail... By a creep... Then benched.. Then, he started his journey. He was on fire for the 63 point history making beat down... Aiden putting the AID IN FIRST AID!!! I BELIEVE!

O"Connell had two offensive coordinators and two head coaches his rookie year! He will be the starter with a steady coach going forward!

If it was Derek Carr making any 1 of these throws by O'Connell, Carr fans would be praising him for 8 years.

I think A.O.C is the future. He made mistakes which are very fixable but those passes he made for completions? showed me that he can do some amazing things. Like back peddling and hitting Meyers in the corner of the end zone ,up high ? Yea.

Whichever one can scramble the best should start imo.

AOC. Ended the season well. Worked all offseason. On a rookie contract which is the best situation for a team that looks like playoffs are in reach.

Minshew is a great guy to have if your number one option isn’t available, hopefully AOC is that number one option… I hope so, let’s go Raiders

My strong opinion and prediction would be AOC. Attributes are strong and accurate arm. Once he understands Luke Getsy system, his progressions would be decisive as to whom he is throwing the ball, too.

May the best man win I don’t want to get guys like Tua, Dak, Justin nor anyone else next year just draft a QB but for now AOC or Minchew will handle this!

Maybe a better question would be which QB will best fit Getsy’s system. Seems too much focus has been on which QB will play and almost zero emphasis on what Getsy’s offense will look like. Remember, the dude was our second choice and that he’s never held any job for more than two years throughout his entire coaching career with most stops lasting only one year…including his OC time with the Bears. How’d that go? There are a few reasons why the expert oddsmakers project the Raiders winning only 6.5 games this upcoming season and Getsy’s unsuccessful/unproven OC track record is paramount among them IMO. As such, I think there is a 50/50 chance between us making the playoffs and Getsy being hired somewhere as a receivers coach at season’s end.

AOC has stronger arm and higher accuracy. If his timing and working through his progressions improve this off season, he could turn out to be a very solid starter.

IDC who wins the spot, but I think Aiden has a better chance having already played a partial season with Pierce. Hopefully that helped him earn the spot and he picks it up solidly.

I want AC to win the position...I believe he'll give us a better chance to win and get into the playoffs...but as I think about it ...our run game has to be good this year ... If our run game is average...both of our qbs are in trouble because they're not mobile...so the run game is what will dictate if our offense will be good or bad

Eh don't hold your breath he looked undrafted at rookie camp. He's gonna need to push just to make QB3.

I lean towards AOC for the future potential, but I'm good either way.

I don't think anyone cares as long as it's the QB that gives us the best chance to win. People don't get excited about Aidans escapability but I think he can improve on it based what I saw at Purdue

Ima be in the minority and say Minshew. I have always been a fan of him since his days in Jacksonville. He has always had flashes of potential but always got put in the back up spot

A loss in yards is better than turnovers. Aidan protects the ball better from that I saw during Pierce's run.

It's gonna be AOC and were going to be fine...the thing that really needs to be looked at imho is the OC. If the game plan isn't the right one, or the wrong type of play is called, even that queefs QB won't be able to help. My point is that with a solid OC & plan with a quality defense, a good/solid QB can take a team to the top...my guy Stabler is a perfect example. AP is using John Madden as a model...I'd bet on it! (no pum btw)

We did that with Mariota and Carr, it didn't go great. Minshew isn't a deadly run threat as QB1, maybe on 2pt conversions I guess but Aidan ran the sneak fine.

We just need to sign a veteran DB honestly to have team set
