It's not simple as that. Ukraine didn't reckognize Kosovo and people with Kosovo passport cannot travel there but Russia reckognizes Kosovo passports but doesn't reckognize the country so there are some double players. Hungary reckognized Kosovo but not one single Hungarian supports Kosovo as a country 🤷

This is a very good mapping video. It's about 50-50 % at the moment. The reason why Serbia has a lot of support in Africa, Asia, and Latin America is because of Yugoslavia's role in the Non-Alligned Movement during the Cold War. Serbia is the main successor state to Yugoslavia and some countries have not forgotten their friendship with us in those days. Without Serbia's explicit recognition, Kosovo will not get anywhere. Serbia will never recognize it officially, Russia will keep on backing Serbia and vetoing all American attempts to get Kosovo into the UN... So, it is a situation that will not be resolved anytime soon. Also, things are not so black and white. For example, while the Governments of Montenegro and North Macedonia have recognized Kosovo, their people, a great majority, would never have done so, if they had a chance and were asked about it.

The same reason, the gonverment of Algeria, Moroco and many othher countries in Africa soport serbia, but if you ask the people of those countries they suport and love Kosovo. Btv Afghanistan, Djibouti, Switzerland and many countries that its in green, which means neutral, actually they suport Kosovo since they recognised Kosovo as an independent country.

No montenegro and north macedonia are with kosovo. Ukraine started to recognize kosovo bc kosovo is helping ukraine at war. Also afghanistan he putted neutral but in reality afghanistan is the first country to recognize kosovo. Switzerland also recognize kosovo.

This is stupid question and that map is totally incorrect. If you ask average muslim, he will in 97% support the Kosovo. If you ask average christian or atheist from Europe, he will in 97% support Serbia. One is what govermant thinks, other, what ordinary people thinks. If you ask someone in muslim but traditionaly friendliest countries to Serbia like: Palestine, Iraq, Indonesia, Syria. Maybe: Lybia, Algeria or Egypt. Answers will be the mostly Kosovo but lot of people will say: I am divided, i support both or i do not support anyone. Israel mostly supports Serbia, i am speaking about people, not govermant. Countries like USA, Canada,... people there do not knows nothing about Kosovo, they doesnt know is it mostly muslim, christian or atheist country. So, the most will be neutral. Ecuador, Mexico, Uruguay, Chile, Argentina, christian african countries, people will mostly support Serbia. Almost all or all muslim countries, big majority will be on side of Kosovo. It is it.
