I think it's more a matter of Mario being one of the most well-rounded characters, so he has enough vertical and horizontal mobility to make it.

It’s because when you test make a level, Mario is the stand-in character for you to explore and navigate. Mario is the one who has to test the majority of the test and if he doesn’t win, he has to clear at least most of the level.

The best-looking lava maze I’ve ever seen on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

I like how most of the characters' tryouts are like 3 or 4 clips combined since you get to see the cutout on the lava and the portals behind the characters it's like "man i'm not gonna pass through that endless maze again!" *puts a portal*

I really appreciate how Popo refused to leave Nana behind.

I thought so, too, at first, but of all the various positions, heights, and side special charges I tried (including misfire), I had too much end lag to jump afterward. However, maybe Luigi can get there without side special with a double jump to air dodge. If I have time, I can try again later

I'm about 95% confident that Samus could have made it if the timing had been better on that spinning lava obstacle. Going earlier, about when it was lined up vertical, would allow a tighter hug moving towards the platform, which seems like it could be enough to make it past the obstacle without hitting it. I also wonder what an air dodge would do instead of a bomb.

I honestly agree. Or if they used their first jump, bomb and then dodged, maybe that would have worked too. But for the most part I am most definitely on your side.👍🏻👌🏻.

Yep exactly what I was thinking. Samus should have made it, they got the timing wrong. Going a bit earlier, and maybe using an air dodge instead of a bomb, should have got her through.

Characters with more than one jump: *I See This As An Absolute Win!*

Pyra and Mythra got as far as I expected, but hey, at least they made it to the cannons. I‘m mad impressed how far Incineroar got though, wouldn‘t have expected that.

Steve-proof would be an impossible course for any characters, most likely; unless, the course was impossible for Steve to mine and thus Steve was deprived of iron for his cart or red stone if speed is required.

I didn’t expect my main Yoshi to make it past the cannon part. His magnet hand is insane!

Being like Kirby by watching every fighter’s attempt to make it through the maze is a canon event

Greninja has Fast Fall Speed while Having a Good Recovery,So it’s really hard to do so

At the end if you timed it better luigi could have gotten it if he misfired still at the start, without gaining horizontal distance before the misfire, then up b, and luigi could make it

I'm not sure he would have made it even without misfire, end lag probably means he hits the lava before he can UpB. (But a debunker can feel free to prove me wrong.)
