Who can Draft a Starting 9 with the most Home Runs? (All Time One Per Team Edition)

Спорт

Three baseball minds compete against each other to draft a lineup of players from any point in MLB history and a team they played for, trying to total the most home runs. This time, the drafters will get the total amount of homers the players hit for that team during their career. The catch: only one player can be drafted from each team. Who will draft the team with the most home runs?

Pads have never had any legitimate power guys for enough years. Winfield didn't play long enough. Gwynn wasn't a homer guy. It doesn't help them that when they had Phil Nevin and Ryan Kkesko putting up decent power numbers, they reconfigured their ballpark to move the fences back. Maybe Tatis sticks around long enough to surpass Colbert.

I know WHY they didn’t do it because it’s a research nightmare, but it would have been fun if they only counted years when a player’s primary position was that position - Cal Ripken was the obvious candidate to me, but they named a lot of guys who lose a lot of home run in that format. I think Frank Thomas only gets 200 at 1B in that format.
