Who Are The Uyghurs? History Of China's Unwanted Muslims (552-1884)

My Food channel:

History with Hilbert's video:
• Who Are China's Vanish...
The Uyghurs are an ethnic group that mainly reside in Xinjiang province in China. They’re currently in the media spotlight due to the repression they face at the hands of the Chinese communist government. But they have called north-western China their home for more than a thousand years. Their history extends even further back than that; like many other groups of steppe people, they have experienced things such as the establishment of a huge nomadic empire and mass migration.

    In the 1770s and 1780s, the East India Company twice sent representatives to Xigaze of Tibet, attempting to entice the Bainqen Lama to establish relations with them and undermine China's unification, but was refused. After the Sino-British Opium War, Britain took advantage of the Qing government's incompetence to attack Tibet's Longtu Fort. In 1890 and 1893, it forced the Qing government to sign the Anglo-Chinese Convention Relating to Sikkim and Tibet, and the Regulations Regarding Trade, Communication and Pasturage to Be Appended to the Sikkim-Tibet Convention, respectively, thus enabling Britain to occupy large areas of Tibet and open a trade mart in Yadong. In 1904, Britain launched a full-scale military invasion of Tibet, forcing the Qing government to sign the so-called "Treaty of Lhasa." According to the treaty, another two trade posts were opened at Gyangze and Garyarsa, and China paid huge amount of military reparations to Britain. In 1907, Britain and Russia signed a treaty in which Britain acknowledged Russia's interests in Mongolia in return for recognition of its "special rights" in Tibet. These two imperialist powers thus arbitrarily declared that China's former sovereignty over Tibet was now a mere "suzerainty". In 1913-14, Britain forced China's newly established republican government to take part in the Simla Conference. With the goal of gaining complete control over the region and then gradually annexing the Tibetan-inhabited areas in Sichuan and other provinces, Britain deliberately put forward a plan to divide the whole region into "inner Tibet" and "outer Tibet," made a secret agreement with the pro-British Tibetan representatives and drew an arbitrary border along what has been called the "McMahon Line," thus occupying large tracts of Chinese territory. This scheme was rejected by the Chinese government from the very start. After that, Britain stage-managed the "independence of Tibet" by fostering pro-British groups among Tibet's upper classes. They sowed discord between the Dalai Lama and the 9th Bainqen, forcing the latter eventually to flee to the hinterland. Britain then gave a large amount of weapons and ammunition to Tibetan troops before encouraging them to launch an invasion eastwards in an attempt to establish a "great Tibet" under British protection. In an attempt to further strengthen their hand, Britain also instigated a group of young officers, led by the commander-in-chief of the Tibetan army, Tsarong Dazang-dradul, to plot an armed coup d'etat and wrest power. They were defeated. In 1904, Britain again unsuccessfully attempted to encourage separatist elements to oppose the patriotic regent Rabchen Hutukotu. In 1949, as the PLA was advancing across southwest China, the British and American imperialists worked hand in glove to stage a plot, trying to separate Tibet from the hinterland by expelling the KMT's agents in Lhasa under the pretext of "preventing the Communists from entering Tibet."

    pretty good video , but there is also many errors in it . The word" East Turkstan" is a word invented by British in 19 centrury , nobody would know the identification at that time. Who is turk? why is east? Xinjiang is a good name , no need to change it.

    I had been teaching English in Istanbul, Turkey for 5 years, and my Turkish was decent, not the best, but I was not really happy with the progress I had made. One day, I went on a date with Uigur woman whose family had immigrated to Turkey from Xinjang province 4 years earlier. During the date, her mother called her, and she spoke on the phone with her mother for approximately 3 minutes. When she hung up, I asked her "Why were you speaking Turkish with your mother? I thought you would speak your Uigur language." She responded..."I WAS speaking Uigur!" I was shocked! I told her I understood 70% of your conversation! It was basically Turkish with a few alien words! She said..."Congratulations, you understand Uigur dialect!!" Wow, I was on cloud 9 that day. Apparently, if you can speak and understand Turkish, you will also understand: Azeri-Azerbaijian, Tatar-Ukraine/Russia, Uigur- China, and Turkmen- Turkmenistan, Iraq).

There was no China and no Chinese in the world in entire world history. Communist Soviet Russia created CCP in 1921. CCP created China on 1 October 1949. Since 1949 war criminal China's army unlawfully invaded into Eastern Turkestan, Tibet, Southern Mongolia, Manchuria, Yellow Uyghur Gansu, Kazakh Aksay, Koknoor, Guangxi Zhuang Region, Yunnan, Ningxia Hui region and other territories. Since ancient times Mandarin language is the language of Manchu-Eastern Turk elites on the plains of Yellow River. Since 1954, Mandarin language is the official language of New born China. Mandarin language is not Fictional Chinese language. In fact in real world there is no such thing "Chinese ethnic group, Chinese DNA, Chinese language, Chinese culture, Chinese medicine, Chinese food, Chinese civilization ...". Chinese is fictional concept. Since 1954, China have Created Fictional "Chinese civilization" and Fictional "Han-Chinese" by unlawfully mix up the cultures of many totally different nations on the plains of Yellow River, YANGTZE RIVER, shores of Pacific ocean, East Asia, etc. In China, Han-Chinese are CCP. Han-Chinese eats everything moving around, zero hygiene, zero civilization, zero morality. They are Masters of deception, cheat, lie, spy, steal, hack, copy, troll, murder, deny. All Han-Chinese are RECENT illegal invaders, war criminals, terrorists, thieves in war criminal China's army unlawfully occupied Vast Eastern Turkestan, Tibet and all non Chinese territories. In fact Han-Chinese do not belong to Eastern Turkestan, Tibet, Southern Mongolia, Manchuria, Yellow Uyghur Karasu (aka Gansu), Koknoor (aka Qinghai), Kazakh Aksay. All terrorists are 100 Percent Han-Chinese in China unlawfully occupied Eastern Turkestan, Tibet and non Chinese territories. In fact The world's biggest single issue in 2022 is China's Uyghur Genocide in war criminal China's army unlawfully occupied UYGHURISTAN (Eastern Turkestan) of Uyghur Nation. We have worked as Foreign Experts for China's government for over 20 years. We are masters of Mandarin language. We are experts of China. We travelled all over China. We travelled all over war criminal China's army unlawfully occupied Ten Countries: UYGHURISTAN (Eastern Turkestan), Tibet, Southern Mongolia, Manchuria, Yellow Uyghur Karasu (aka Gansu after 1952), Kazakh Aksay, Koknoor (aka Qinghai after 1952), Ningxia Hui Republic, Guangxi Zhuang Region, Yunnan, Cantonia. China's Uyghur Genocide is going on in war criminal Chinese army unlawfully occupied UYGHURISTAN (Eastern Turkestan). Because Eastern Turkestan is very rich in all kinds of natural resources, naturally very diverse and vast. Chinese wanted to totally exterminate Uyghur Nation and Chinese wanted to take over Eastern Turkestan from Uyghur Nation. Since ancient times, the world's second biggest Gobi Desert has totally isolated Eastern Turkestan in the Far West and China in the Far East of Asia. Uyghurs DO NOT LIVE IN CHINA in East Asia. Uyghurs live in own Natural Territory Eastern Turkestan in Central Asia. Eastern Turkestan of Uyghur Nation is not "Xinjiang" of China. Uyghur Nation is not "Ethnic minority of China ". Uyghur Nation is not "Chinese Muslims ". Uyghur Nation has nothing to do with Han-Chinese and China. China is a country in far East of Asia. East Turkestan is a country in Central Asia. East Turkestan has nothing to do with Han-Chinese. Size of Eastern Turkestan is bigger than the combination of Europe's biggest Four Countries - Germany, France, Britain and Italy. East Turkestan is the world's biggest producer of rare earth materials, uranium, jade, gold, silver, cotton, tomatoes, garlic, silk, cashmere, green, raisins, Grapes, wool, leather, meat, marble, etc. East Turkestan is one of the world's biggest producer of coal, salt, petrol, natural gas, mika, and many others. Uyghur Nation was the Riches Nation in the world before China's illegal invasion into Eastern Turkestan on 20 October 1949. China has been robbing Trillions of US dollars of energy, food, raw materials, uranium, rare earth materials, Jade, gold, fresh bottled water, fresh bottled air, Uyghur Organs, Uyghur blood, Uyghur flesh, and many goods from Chinese army unlawfully occupied Eastern Turkestan of Uyghur Nation. Poor China, over 1.4 Billion hungry Chinese and millions of junk factories in China cannot survive without Robbing TRILLIONS of US dollars of natural resources from natural resources extremely rich, naturally very diverse and vast Eastern Turkestan of Uyghur Nation. Since late 2016 China unlawfully cut off all telephone connections, Internet connections, postal services and travel for all Uyghurs in between Eastern Turkestan and rest of the world. China has kicked out all foreigners from East Turkestan of Uyghur-Turk Nation and China DO NOT ISSUE VISA FOR FOREIGNERS TO TRAVEL TO EASTERN TURKESTAN. China do not let foreigners with China's Visa to travel to East Turkestan to meet up with Uyghurs without Han-Chinese state agents under strict surveillance. Only China paid foreign criminals with Han-Chinese State security agents together go to Eastern Turkestan to make propaganda videos for Chinese government to cover up China's Uyghur Genocide. Even China paid foreign criminals cannot travel to Eastern Turkestan to meet up with Uyghurs without Han-Chinese state agents under strict surveillance. All pictures and videos are strictly controlled by Chinese government. All "HAPPY UYGHUR VIDEOS " on KZread are "Made in China" by China' state security agents with China paid foreign criminals. China do not let Uyghurs from Eastern Turkestan freely travel to China. China do not let Uyghurs from Eastern Turkestan to travel to any other countries. China do not let Uyghurs from other countries to go to Eastern Turkestan to meet up with their parents and family China do not let Uyghurs escape from East Turkestan to other countries. Many Uyghurs are shot dead on the way escape from East Turkestan to other countries. Uyghurs cannot be refugees in neighbouring Pakistan. China do not let foreigner to talk to Uyghurs without Han-Chinese state security agents in Chinese army unlawfully occupied Eastern Turkestan. Strict SURVELANCE and strict Family planning are only applied to Uyghur Nation in Chinese army unlawfully occupied Eastern Turkestan. Chinese illegal invaders have no family planning in Eastern Turkestan. War criminal China has been unlawfully transferring millions of own Han-Chinese from extremely poor Chinese villages in China to Eastern Turkestan, Tibet and all non Chinese territories to destroy local people. War Criminal Chinese government and China paid foreign criminals are producing disinformation campaign Worldwide to cover up China's Uyghur Genocide, China's Uyghur Organ Harvesting, China's Uyghur Concentration mass murder camps, China's crime against humanity, China's war crime, China's erase Uyghur Nation in Chinese army unlawfully occupied East Turkestan of Uyghur Nation. Many over 80 years old Uyghurs are locked up in "China's Uyghur Re-education mass murder camps" in Chinese army unlawfully occupied Eastern Turkestan. Many Uyghur children are locked up in " China's Uyghur Concentration Re-education camps " in Chinese army unlawfully occupied Eastern Turkestan. China did not lock up Han-Chinese Terrorists in "China's Re-education camps " in Eastern Turkestan. Since 1964, War criminal China Tested 46 Nuclear Bombs on Defenceless Uyghur Civilians in Chinese army unlawfully occupied East Turkestan of Uyghur Nation. China's Uyghur Forced Sterilisation, Forced Abortion and Organ Harvesting industry are booming. China do not let Uyghurs access Internet, smart phone, international phone call and postal services. CHINA UNLAWFULLY CUT OFF ALL TELEPHONE CONNECTIONS, INTERNET CONNECTIONS, POSTAL SERVICES AND TRAVEL FOR ALL UYGHURS IN BETWEEN UYGHUR EAST TURKESTAN AND REST OF THE WORLD. From 2015, China do not issue Tourist Visa for foreigners to travel to Eastern Turkestan. China has exterminated all Uyghurs who has spoken with foreign tourists in Eastern Turkestan in the past. China do not let Uyghurs to talk to Foreigners without Han-Chinese state security agents in Eastern Turkestan. China do not let UN officials to go to Eastern Turkestan to meet up with Uyghurs without Han-Chinese state agents. It's unfortunate that the focus of the Chinese government seems to be more on forcing the suppression of Turkic culture, ethnic genocide, and promoting CCP ideology rather than cherishing these historical sites and their history.

This depiction is utterly at odds with how history is taught here. Chinese students learn that these areas are inalienable parts of China, and that they have been for a long, long time. One netizen described the map as a “slap” from Merkel. “We always say some regions are inalienable parts of China since ancient times, but Merkel told us that even in 18th century those regions still did not belong to China.” time.com/46414/angela-merkel-xi-jinping-china-germany-map/

    Uygurs were the first to adopt printing machine, learned from chinese and considered to be the first among the nomads of the steppes to adopt a settled life, the area you call Xin-Jiang, is also known as East Turkistan, for a reason, because it is considered to be the most eastern border for Turkic culture, and they are not prosecuted because they are muslims, they are prosecuted because of their Turkic culture, Chinese know one thing, culture and religion are separate things, although they are known to both effect each other, the essence of the culture, in most cases, influence the politics heavier than religion does, especially in terms of separatist movements. You can steal or destroy someones culture, by suppression politics like these, but you cannot erase a religion, only another religion can do that.

    @Mico Hans Would you like to meet one of the thousands of Uygurs that are living in Istanbul and tell them what I have written up there is wrong? They will respond you the same way you have responded me. Is there any lie up there? Did the Uygurs not adopt the chinese printing machine as early as 9th century. Were they not the main Turkic clan that survived the Chinese-Hunnic and Gokturk wars that followed and stayed in their homeland and settled and decided not to immigrate to west, unlike their kin? Is it not the flag of Turkey or anything with a crescent and moon flag, banned in East Turkistan at the moment? Last time I checked the chinese were okay with any arabic or persian flag or any other flag or religious items (mostly, If they deem it carries any cultural attachment with anything Turkic then no, they are not okay with it), but the Uygur men and women are sent to camps to marginalize, threaten and destroy their entire culture. Next thing you know the Chinese are going to say to the Wahabbi/Selefi, look we have chinese muslims too, we should partner up, not like they haven't already done it. I am telling you the Chinese are not against Islam, no more than they are against the Christians, but they are not okay with any other culture other than theirs, they see it as barbaric, just as they have done for thousands of years.

  • @SourSoup87

    @SourSoup87

    @Mico Hans First of all over 300 ethnicity??B.S., that's more like maximum of 50-60 different ethnicity, and I am including the ones immigrated there from other countries, do not make up numbers, just because people are from different cities does not make them an ethnicity. Here in Turkey you can get a different culture everytime you change a city, does not make it an ethnicity. Second, Anatolia itself is considered a mozaic of different cultures due to having migration over the last 12000 years, despite the western ideologist academicians trying to prop up Greek or Roman influence over the area, it had pretty much changed hands, divided and ruled by different ethnicity/cultures ever since the end of the last ice age. Also, in current Today's Turkey, just by checking the local residencies since the end of the Ottoman Empire, you can find around 32 different ethnicity(discounting the European or US expats as well here), with their own culture attached, living in Turkey. Basically people that have been here over the last century. There are no problems with the Kurds in Turkey, however there is a terrorist organization called PKK (which is supported by pretty much everyone in the West, and my wimpy government is scared If they say something about Uygurs, Chinese will support them as well, they do not wish to loose the Chinese investment money too) and it's different arms, established not just in Turkey but in Syria and Iraq as well, that is the problem right now. Kurds historically never held an ethnically kurdish country or Kingdom of their own (I know you are thinking about Salahaddin Eyyubi but the ones who put him there was actually his Turkic overlords Zengioğulları, you really should do research man) and right now the Kurds are the second largest ethnicity without a sovereign country of their own, right after the Gypsies(They are desperately trying to separate the N.Iraq region as a sovereign state, but the Ankara treaty between Turkey and Iraqi overlords of the time, the British, states that If the control of Musul and Kerkuk, -which at the times was considered as a Turkmen city, before they were genocided by PKK and their western overlords during the Iraqi invasion, they changed the demographics of the city, much as the same way Chinese are doing it in East Turkistan-, fell out of Iraqi control, Turkey will have the right to move military might and take control of the cities, stopped that attempt dead in it's tracks.) If the Kurds and the Turks actually were at war with eachother, there would be WW3. Turkey would fall in to civil war, the fighting would spread to Caucasus, Iran, Balkans, and the rest of the M.E., which would then bring to world to the annihilation. Last but not least, the China, is known as China because of the Qin Kingdom of the warring states period, defeated all of it's enemy states and unified the lands under one flag. That kingdom and it's name, through Persian and Indian translations, became synonymous with China itself. Therefore anything that comes out of that area, despite how it looks to the locals living there, will be considered Chinese by foreign powers, therefore there is no pressure on any other ethnicity, But the Uygurs are not Chinese, they have never been Chinese, therefore from the west they are considered as a demographic that could be exploited and from the Chinese perspective they look like socio-political weakness that could be used by foreign powers to create conflict. There was a reason why the area was autonomous to begin with. Also, marxism/communism, capitalism, liberalism are ideologies, they do not represent a culture of their own, however they can change a culture, improve or destroy it, based upon the users of the ideologies and can be adopted pretty much anyone who feels that ideology suits their needs. Learn the difference.

    @@QuentinKLEau @Quentin K. L'Eau So it is okay to ban the flag of any country, outside of it's home, with justification of secession? This is like banning any western flag in any muslim country because they support the Israel? A flag and it's symbols are alone is not enough for secession, and If Chinese are so scared of the mere presence of Turkish Flag to the point of banning it, then there is really a huge problem, because the demand for sovereignty might have gone off the roof due to Chinese policies. The second is language. Back in the past, there were times that it was forbidden to speak Kurdish in Turkey, at public offices, the state, albeit a bit late, realized this only aggravated the situation and removed the ban, hell we opened up a state tv, solely broadcasting in Kurdish, I mean they are part of the country, instead of increasing the separation of societies and cultures, there should be some way to remove that barrier and integrate them and I am not against it, there is nothing wrong with it. But are the Chinese government doing that now? No, anything, that reminds them of freedom, their language, their cultural values, food and drinks, and even their right to give birth is being taken from them. They cannot left their beards to get long, they cannot put scarves on, they cannot practice their culture and forced to become a Chinese. Most people have lost their private lives, they go through huge psychological trauma's at these camps, and they come out as Mankurt, do not remember their past, cannot be the men or women they have been, and forced to obey, while being under constant supervision, and the most disgusting thing is, I have seen a lot of Chinese people, on the internet, who say they are proud of the way their government is handling this separatist movement. Since there are more than 10 million Uygurs they are suppressing successfully, it is easy for them to keep control of their country and even take back lost lands like Taiwan within days should a war breaks out and suppress there as well. Uygur kids are taken while they are 6-7 years old and sent to China, to foster with Chinese families, to be assimilated, while their young men and women, are taken to China with the promises of finding work, only to end up as working for the Chinese mafia, or prostitutes or work literally as slaves (there is even an uygur song about it), while Chinese population in East Turkistan is increasing, the population of Uygurs, under Chinese government applications, is decreasing. Back in 1932, the Uygurs actually managed to get a state of their own, only for a year, until it was dissolved by Chinese. Granted they had help from Turkey and Imperial Japan at the time to declare sovereignty, I do not know, any other land that belonged to Chinese, aside from Tibet, that got separated from China, without the invasion of a foreign force, for the last thousand years, due to sole ethnic revolt, of it's indigenous population. I can see that the Chinese do not want another Tibetan War in their hands, this alone should tell you why they consider the Uygurs as a threat, but the main reason of the fighting are two things. 1)There is oil and NG under East Turkistan, noone knows the full amount, but with todays money, i I think I read somewhere the total sum, with the possible addition of new reserves is around 100 to 200 billion U.S. Dollars, which on it's own in many cases is enough to trigger a war. 2) East Turkistan, Xin Jiang as you would call, is the gateway for the new One Belt-One Road, the New Silk Road project the Chinese are conducting. That project moved too many stones in the geopolitical circumference around the globe, it almost caused another Cold War between West-China. There are polarizations because of it. Lastly I am not a scholar, half the Turkish people who read and watch news, knows about this, there are forums on the internet it is discussed there, and ever since the Covid outbreak, lets just say the people are not that happy with the Chinese governments policies here as well, many blames the Chinese for the outbreak, therefore my government is trying to downplay their relationship with them to avoid backlash from the public.

    @@HikmaHistory This is exactly the part you are being fed. 1. The US government is keen on making shit up and has done so many times to maintain its hegemony. If you deny this point, then you don't need to read the rest. 2. Why would the western world believe this slave labor in cotton field, genocide narrative so easily? It is because you, the west has done so in the past. Deja vu for the west. Oh, have you asked anyone from John Deer, how many huge cotton harvester they are selling in Xinjiang? Why are you sanctioning your own business and make your own people lose job? 3. Going through these evidence like analyzing Google maps, the silly tribunal recently held in London, ASPI studies, do you really say they are hard evidence to convict this crime? Or they are bent and jiggered to make people believe there is such a genocide. 4. There are plenty of information not only from Chinese government but also from local people or foreign expats in China, debunking this accusation and showing how absurd some of these so called evidence are. You categorize them all as propaganda? Actually, the US just passed a bill called "strategic competition to counter China" and is going to spend 300m USD yearly to bash China. Personally, I really wish this money can be given to the family in the US who lost their beloved one during the pandemic. 5. Does the west really care about human rights? Or it is just a flag to wave before stepping in others' territory? Take a look at the mess you made in Syria and Lydia and the refugee crisis. While you call all Chinese information is propaganda, why wouldn't you also cast second though on this drama from your government, which in compared to Chinses government has been performing quite bad. 6. Quite a lot of common people in Europe really believe in themselves, that they are the savior and should go in there. I got this from casual conversations with them year before when I was there. Well, there are countries which has less prosperity, has a bad government. But the west obviously does not have the ability to solve problems in those countries, without even questioning whether the west has the right or is bestowed with such obligation to be the savior. 7. If the common people in the west don't want the truth, just want to share something thrilling after the meal or tea party, it should be ok. And China will keep going on its current course. And the Uyghur population and the local economy will keep growing (if you would bother to check some stats from UN, world bank). Chinese Muslims will not be affected by extremism because people have better life, are well educated. And your government would also just sit back and relax, as again they manage to dodge public attention in time of crisis. "Why don't we expel 76 soviet diplomats? It has been our common practice in the past." "Once you start interfering in the internal squabbles of other countries, you're on a very slippery slope" Remember these lines from Sir Humphrey of Yes minister? I really can't understand why UK people nowadays become less wise compared to their parents. 8. If you would check this video out: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nKKn0MaaitjTl6Q.html This constant shit may actually lead to a war. Lying for too long will sometimes trick yourself and make you believe, you are the real hero forgetting that you just wanted to distract public attention. When small lie is not big enough, you make a bigger one and eventually you are stuck in this loop and make the ultimate one. Despite, the NATO crushed Iraq, there are still western soldiers killed. Me before watching this video: The Uyghurs are oppressed by the CCP because they are Muslims even if they aren't extremist. Me after watching this video: Wow. I never knew the Uyghurs had a rich and complicated history. This is good content. 👍
