Who Are The Russian Soldiers Who Put Banned Land Mines In Ukraine?

A new report by Schemes, the investigations unit of RFE/RL's Ukrainian Service, reveals the names and identities of Russian soldiers responsible for laying antipersonnel mines in Ukraine. The mines are banned under an international agreement, which Ukraine is party to but Russia is not.

Ukraine has a bunch of war crimes they committed starting back at the origin of this war in 2014 (Bombing civilians of Donbass). ) Now the main point... If you think this war is Ukraine v Russia and not USA Corporations & Globalists v Peace, then unfortunately you are not awake yet. Look up Blackrock and Vanguard, what they are majority share owners in, how it has influenced USA politicians (bribes/sponsorships), and look at the $ they make from war, injuries, oil and gas, and land confiscation. If you have questions I will happily answer them.

Certain types of mines are banned in all countries including the USA. All mines are required to self-deactivate no more than 90 days after laying and be detectable by metal detectors. One of the illegal types is the butterfly mine which is the type that the commentary claims was responsible for the man losing his leg. Butterfly mines are made of a plastic, a glass or plastic crushable detonator, and do not deactivate.

Imagine if Russia was the only country to sign an agreement that it's illegal to kill Russian soldiers with bullets, then put out a propaganda piece claiming Ukraine has been illegally killing Russians with banned ammunition... An "agreement" is only binding to the parties that agreed to it. Since the USA and Russia did not agree to it, Russia and the USA don't have to abide by it.

The title itself implies that Russia is openly breaking the law when it comes to these military munitions, but that is a lie through omission. If they are not banned by Russia, why use that terminology? Regarding the Budapest memorandum, wouldn't that also apply against the USA since we sent over CIA agents in 2014 to train paramilitary groups to kill pro-Russians in east Ukraine? When the democratically elected government was overthrown in 2014, eastern Ukrainians declared independence and formed their own government. If these separatists were not a legitimate government because they overthrew the government by force, doesn't that mean the new Kyiv government of 2014 is also not legitimate by the same standard? The Kyiv government started bombing Donbas and killing civilians for years that were culturally and ethnically Russian. Look into the Minsk Agreement 2015... Ukraine is just as bad as Russia.

There will always be someone somewhere who sees advantage for themselves in not signing up to international agreements. Based on your logic all international agreements are therefore a waste of time. I disagree profoundly. If we are to live in harmony in this world such agreements are a vital ingredient of the world we live in. Ukraine chooses to follow international agreements and norms in spite of the war. In doing so it gains the respect of the world's nations, and nations from around the world welcome Ukraine as a partner. Russia chooses not to sign up to any agreement even in peacetime, and flagrantly violates any agreements it has signed up to at the first instance it appears inconvenient. In so doing it confirms its place in the world as a pariah state whose words and actions cannot be trusted. It also means that its leaders and those who act on Russia's behalf expose themselves as international criminals to be prosecuted as soon as they can be apprehended. And America has been rightfully criticized for what they have done wrong. Everyone has talked about it, talked about it a lot. But how do American wrongdoings justify Russian wrongdoings? They don't. Also America has never invaded to annex territory with eradicating everyone who is against it. That is what Russia is doing and that's just another level of wrongdoing.

America doesn't break _all_ its agreements, in fact it sticks by most of them. Russia breaks agreements - if it ever bothers making them - at the drop of a hat. That has been a known fact since the 19th Century. Witness Bismarck's quote: "Never trust a Russian, because they do not trust themselves".

Maga has broken the US agreement. But they live like russians and should be in russia rather than free to cause such harm in the US.

If a country needs to compare itself to the US to make itself look better, then the country is probably worse than the US.

Land mines should go. Unfortunately the biggest layer of land mines is the usa with their military bases all around the world, and the biggest anti land mine warrior was Princes Diana, tragic.
